Can someone explain the 4600 chips left to me? Are there 4600 chips that have already been ordered and waiting to arrive that can be purchased? Or are there 4600 left until another batch will be ordered from avalon(Could take a while)? Thanks
Afaik 4600 left until the batch reaches 50% pre-sold, at which point the batch is ordered and paid for by steamboat.
You may be right, but I wouldn't say it is clear from steamboat's top post. This remains a point of confusion for me. Reading steamboat's top post in isolation, I would have assumed that there were still 4600 chips available from the already ordered batch 6, rather than 4600 chips that still need to be ordered to trigger a batch 7 purchase, but I really can't tell.
Steamboat, can you clear this up? The 4600 available are they for an order already placed or a new batch pre order for the future? Thanks

Re: [Ann] US based Avalon ASIC chips and assembly: 4,600 remaining
I know I am a bit late on this, but +1 on the case as well. Curious what the pricing would be, but given the PSU(s), cases, cabling, and time/effort involved, this seems like it would be a big win for those of us who bought more than a handful of boards.
Is there any update on if this is going to be offered (or what price it might be offered at)? Didn't see anything on http://liquidsyndesigns.com or further mention in the thread...
Case work is in progress. I received the first machined parts yesterday and am assembling prototypes. The PDU PCB design is underway, and I should have something to show next week. The Mineninja folks are on-board with development.
Forgive me if this has been answered already. Each 3-k16 blade in this case, Is it a special board or just 3 seperate regular k16 boards mounted and hooked together. If I purchase the regular k16 boards at least 3 at a time will they work/mount in the case? Thanks

Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware
Why are you on steamboat's group buy page asking about ordering chips from zefir? Why not buy them from steamboat?
I apologize. I didn't know steamboat was selling the chips as well. As indicated in the OP: {Please note this is for assembly only. Chips must be purchased and supplied in order to use this service
Honestly you are really late to the party. Most people ordered Avalon chips in late April to early May. There are rumors of chips starting to ship for those first orders. You can be a part of Steamboat's batch 7 on the Liquid Synergy Designs forum (I saw you posted there to). There would be at least a 10 week lead time once batch 7 is ordered. Once you have chips ordered then you can setup assembly of the chips on board. That is what Steamboat's site is for.
Thanks I have been in circles trying to understand the threads. Do you know if anyone able to use bfl chips?

Is there anyone with the k16 or k64 boards with/without chips? If no chips how can chips be purchased? Are they on back order? Thanks

Are the "Fusion 16" available for purchase at this point? I see in stock on the website. If so, Are they fully working or do chips need to be purchased as well? If not, does anyone have DIY board/chips ready to sell/ship? Thanks

LTC mining 5770 Unable to hash over 162kh/s

I have been adjusting settings for a couple days now. I am running a 5770 with cgminer -scrypt on win 7x64 with the following --worksize 256 --gpu-engine 688 --gpu-memclock 1100 --shaders 800 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 8000 --intensity 18
I have adjusted the gpu-engine and memclock to the sweet spot above. I do see others claiming around 200kh/s but I can't figure it out. Any help/info would be appreciated. Thanks,
