Re: List of Decentralized/Centralized Exchanges
by

Great list. I think decentralized exchanges are very interesting. But I have some concerns... Some of these exchanges claim they offer support to their users, but how is that possible if they are decentralized?

No, and the two main reasons are:

1. the lack of transparency in the way the token is distributed (you don't know if developers themselves are buying the tokens, to control the supply, and hence the price);
2. the lack of guarantee that the product will be delivered (and remember that by giving the money before any product or prototype is delivered, you are decreasing the incentives for the developers to work hard and continuously on the product).

I think Tony should focus on development. As for exchanges, it's all about volume. If you guys manage to convince them that the changing of unit can bring more trading volume, they'll be all for it.

Re: BEST DAG-COIN?
by

on 12/01/2018, 13:11:13 UTC
This technology will somedy overrun the blockchain.
And this mostly because of the enormous high tps and no fees features.
Whats your favourite DAG?
My favourite DAG coin was raiblock and how that takes over a lot of altcoin. And you can see how raiblock was growing a lot. I don't like about IOTA, or even byteball. but in my opinion byteball has very fair distribution compared with another DAG coin just like raiblock or iota but all of them look the same.
just the price of byteball is today so enormous as investment i wouldnt use it
but for payments instead
It's actually underpriced, look at the marketcap.

Btw, there will be only 1 million coins. So even at total supply, the market cap would not be more than double what it is right now.

I chose Bitcoin because it take safety seriously, and being a truly decentralized cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is one of the best ways we have to protect our money.

Re: Is it OK to Send BTC Now? (confirmation problem?)
by

The title says it.

I want to send some BTC to another wallet, another address.

Is it ok now? How long to confirm?

I have some transactions pending for 3 days now.

Any advise highly appreciated.

Thank you
Are you using SegWit address? If not, I would not recommend sending transactions now if you need that money urgently.

I think it will top at $7500, but Bitcoin is known for surprising us. 10k is definitely possible.

When it comes to cryptos, it's all about transparency and fair distribution. An ICO can be a ponzi scheme, and airdrop can be a ponzi scheme, even a PoW coin can be a ponzi scheme, when the coin is instamined.

There are airdroped coins with terrible distribution, like NEM and Clams. And there are coins with a distribution much better designed, like Byteball. And some people forget that Decred also had an airdrop phase.

I hold 8 gbyte yesterday and right now I have 0.8 gbyte. Not a big amount but I will still holding. I believe in this cryptocurrency. Hope that after the airdrop, you guys will have more time to develop and the coin will have more space to grow stronger
So you sold 90%? That's not what "holding" means.
I suppose he meant 8 plus 0.8

Especially when he said it is some kind of investment that never goes down... Roll Eyes

Re: Could China Ban Miners.

It looks like their government is considering Bitcoin to be a serious threat, so at some point they will go after miners.
But miners will always find a way to continue to do what they do best, either by mining anonymously or by leaving the country.

Great news, I think price is at bottom    Cool

From few pages I don't see  Shocked any price related talks and people crying Cry about this drop.

So now is time to buy back our cheap train tickets to "tha moon".  Wink

 Cheesy Grin Tongue

The price drop is mainly about supposed IOTA bug, which happens to be similar to Byteball they said. So the big holders were spooked and sold to minimize risk to capital. The price will recover once this issue is laid to rest.
It doesn't affect Byteball. From what I heard, even the hashing function is different.

Re: More Chinese FUD to trigger panic selling on idiots
by

-snip-

Even if the ban was real, it's irrelevant, the protocol works and it will recover, and then China will have nothing else to FUD with, which is why they will not actually ban it.
And that's the point many people don't understand. There is something called p2p trading... It has been working for nearly a decade.

Re: Will Bitcoin price reach $5000 before year end?
by

Bitcoin's scarcity and increasing popularity can make it possible, but internal problems can make it a very difficult goal. In my opinion, it depends whether there will be or not another hardfork.

The mechanism of the white ball is very interesting, the distribution is also very interesting way, I am very optimistic, I will hold a part

Um, white ball? Really? How did you manage to make such a mistake when it's right there in the title of the thread?  Huh
Yeah, being byte the native currency white byte would make some sense, but not white ball.

I am very glad  byteball become a ICO plantfrom, the bank.one is the first ICO on the byteball plantform,i think tony the first task is made byteball to easy press token  in this way, byteball price will to da moon

Can anyone confirm that an ICO is happening on Byteball??
Would be great news and really showcase the potential it has a multi-purpose network

I am not sure if there is an ico on byteball , but it says IOTA and Byteball . but I assume theya re using byteball to do the ico lookoks like it
I found some project called Nemesis, and they say they will be using Byteball to create an intelligent bot, but I haven't studied to know if it's a viable project.

price could easily go back to $200, beware.
It's possible, due to the low liquidity, but I'm not expecting such a big drop in terms of USD.
In terms BTC is harder to hold, especially when it's going up.

Re: Betting 80% of my portfolio on ARK

Congratulations on your gains, but sitting on 80% alts after doubling your money is a bad decision, in my opinion. People tend to say that Bitcoin itself is a risky investment, I imagine that this alt could put you in a much more risky position.
