I asked by PM to MineCoin.org if they could announce the pool mnx.forgetop.com

He replied: "Sorry we can't".
But why a crypto doesn't want to announce a pool is very strange.
It's just like a crypto could work without any pool, as if it's not their problem.
Anyway.

Then I asked and asked again here in bitcointalk that this pool (and others) are added to the main page of the MineCoin site: https://minexcoin.com/
Nothing.

As suggested, I then wrote an e-mail to the Team, who obviously didn't do anything.
They didn't have to decency to reply a simple "No, but thank you for your concern".

About a month after, I'm still not understanding while a buggy pool like minexpool appears in this list and not the perfectly working others.

Now I highly suspect there is an hidden interest to limit this list to 2 pools.
They must either pay their apparition in the main page (like a % of their profit).
Or those pool(s) belongs to the Team, or someone close, related or having interest in the company.

As already written, all other cryptos do show a full list of pools, not a selected one (a limited list).

Sorry, but there is no other valid explanation, either than laziness or profit, not to change a few lines in the main page.

I'd like to know the reason for this as well. Forgetop has been an excellent pool so far for me, yet not listed on the main page. Why not?
Because it hadn't been checked yet.

I've stopped using Forgetop.com because it has such low hashrate which made it hard to keep using during unlucky streaks. But I did like the UI and it never went down when I was using it so I'll vouch for it if that's what is needed to get it added on the main page. I've also used mnx.mining-pool.fr and will vouch for this pool as well. Please add both to the main page so that people know of these pools.

Also, I really don't understand why you guys are not concerned by the fact that there are only 2 pools that essentially make up 95% of total hashrate and with one of them consisting of about 60% of that total. Then there's the fact that the biggest pool, the one with 60%, has been targeted by attacks and has been successfully taken down several times by these attacks. The last time this happened, the block times shot up and took way longer than 3 minutes since the difficulty isn't adjusted after every block found. Luckily the pool was only down for about an hour. But what happens if the next time the pool gets attacked, it goes down for days? You'll have a mining community that will be struggling to find blocks and users with long pending transactions. How is this not a big concern for you guys?

This coin was supposed to be stable as one of it's features. It has lost 200 positions in the last three weeks, that's stable bad. Time to sell.
This coin need all ecosystem to be implemented to gain it maximum potential.

I just wonder if it might have been better to wait until all ecosystem was implemented before making such a drastic change as dropping interest rates by 60%. I understand that having a monthly interest rate of 13+% was not sustainable, but they could have gradually reduced the interest rates over time instead of one big drop. I bet the price would have remained stable if they did that, but I guess we'll never know.

Is there a way to sort the parkings in minexbank.com by the Time left column? It's hard to see which parkings are almost done when you have multiple types (mix of Daily, Weekly, and Monthly) of parkings.

the parking rates will applay per May 1,
Daily 0.19%
Weekly 1.34%
Monthly 5.83%
Quarterly 17.5%
Half yearly 35%
Annual 70%

I think the minexcoin team needs to enter MNX into a bigger market like bittrex or something else, this will be good for minexcoin

The new rates will apply on May 1st or 16 days from today (April 24th)?

Good news, everyone!
New mining pool for MinexCoin!

http://MinexPool.xyz
Mining fee is 0% until 01.05.2018, minimal payment is 0.1 MNX
Welcome!

Telegram Support Group: https://t.me/minexpool

What's the mining fee going to be after May 1, 2018? If it's 0.5% or less, then I'd definitely try out your pool.

Hello friends. Tell me pls your pool for mnx? Whats better? suprnova or minexpool? or maybe you have something new?

Go with any other pool but suprnova. It's not good for one pool to have more than 50% of total hashrates. Maybe try the pool being promoted above. It currently has no mining fee.

v0.3 is working great for me. The only thing is that for the set-work-batch parameter, I could not use AUTO or HIGH. The miner would automatically crash on these settings. I had to use actual numbers to get it working.

I saw that happening when I was trying to figure out how much to overclock my gpus. It means your overclock settings are unstable, try lowering them.

I have a problem with several Nvidia rigs and everything happens the same to me, the error is that it does not keep the connection and it restarts constantly, I have tried in other pools with the wallet and the same, I prefer to use Suprnova if possible.

Anti-virus server disabled and the firewall too. The rigs run perfectly with other programs including the one recommended by Suprnova for MNX

I leave the error and my configuration, in this case it is 4 x 1060 3gb with a celeron and 8 gigas. It is the small test rig

Im getting around 14000 sol/s for gtx 1070 and 8500 sol/s for gtx 970. the 4 x 1070 rig lolminer was crashing every 10 20 mins so I changed the batch from 2 to 4 ts been almost 1 hour so far so good.

Edit:
strange thing just happened. the gtx 1070s hashrate dropped of 14000 sol/s to 7000 sol/s

Did you just closed your TeamViewer? If yes, it is because of that. I have the same issue. I need to change the batch value to 8 to have a hashrate better but still below than with TV opened.

Try putting the batch value back to 2, and then opening a browser to a youtube video. The video doesn't have to be playing, just make sure it's in the background and not minimized.

So any thoughts on why using Anydesk or Teamviewer might increase hashrate significantly???

Evidently others in different coin threads and miners have noticed this too , however I am using Nvidia , this particular topic is about AMD

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2256917.400

Try setting the --set-work-batch setting to 8 or higher. It has worked for me and a few others. Some have reported no change though so YMMV.

Helped even things out across 3 gpus, but they are smaller gpus, 1050+ 2x 980's. And hash was still less than havy Anydesk connected.

Did not help on 1080ti's made things worse.

I have played with a ton of settings, I really cannot figure what it is that Anydesk would be invoking that would cause this.

I even added the exe file to my Nvidia control panel as a controlled program with maximum performance settings.

I'll keep at it but I'll try any other suggestions out there.... I run multiple rigs and it is not feasible for me to keep an anydesk window open for each, however the difference in hashrate makes it significant

From what others have explained, it has something to do with Windows reducing the gpu and cpu performance when it detects that there's no display being used. Someone has also suggested playing a long youtube video and putting it on replay to trick Windows.

I also read someone with multiple rigs basically having a teamviewer session from one rig to the other and vice versa, you could try that.

Try setting --platform  to 1 ex:

--platform 1

Hi

Today I want to start mining MNX with my nvidia  rig 6 GPU GTX 1060 6GB

In the cfg file I read that for multiple GPU we need to set the following:

--device 0,1,2,3,4,5

But when I run the miner it only shows device 0

Can somebody help me with this  ?

these are my settings

where to know how many have already been confirmed Huh

Same problem. When connected through Teamviewer I get full hash. When disconnected hash drops to half. This is with a monitor connected, so that cannot be the problem.
I have the same problem.
Tons of us have the same problem. I ordered some dummy plugs but at the moment I'm losing hash rate.

So I think I was able to keep the hashrate from dropping when I disconnect from Teamviewer by changing the "--set-work-batch" config to 8.

This guy! He knows! Gimme your minex address i'll send you a tip Smiley

Awesome! Glad it worked for you too. My minexcoin address is XaWuXNUfc156bXU6aWHiGXUstAuiveJQ7G. Thanks for the tip.  Grin
