4) Maybe you should consider mining another coin and instead buy some FJC.
For $10 you can get like 1250 FJC...

I think this is the answer, but I also think this is exactly what the FJC community wants - to increase the price of the coin.

Maybe that's why (AMD) GPU mining "mysteriously" doesn't work...

Anyone have any idea why sgminer won't mine any shares on cryptogrinder?

I'm following the guide on page one.

sgminer starts up and shows it is connected and hashing, but no shares and no stats on the "workers" list for my wallet.

So I tried cpuminer and it is working as expected. Starts earning shares within a few seconds.

I have used sgminer to mine other coins/algos without any problems.

Is there a trick to getting sgminer (with an RX480 8GB) to mine Fujicoin on cryptogrinder?

I have the same problem with my R7 250 X i can receive only HW (Hardware error) or "low difficulty rejected" , depends on configuration file of the miner . I tried with:

sgminer
yacminer
vertminer
cgminer

and also with the intial fujiminer made by motty

no one seems to work.

I can confirm that cpuminer work perfectly but too slow for me.

Thanks

Good to know that I am not the only one who had this difficulty.

I can also confirm that CPU mining works fine, but as you say it is way too slow (even with a good 6-core CPU) and not profitable.

Hi,

New to this post so not sure if anyone already asked or answers have been given, if so; excuse me, but i'm not going to read 62 pages back.
Could someone tell me what the deal is with this wallet:

http://193.70.109.114:6005/address/LeNKcf9RsezQaxTWs9TYKN9Fp6tpJaExTe
1515635617.00686526
6,003,429,666 = circulating
Looks like someone is already holding 1/4th of all LINDA?

Thanks in advance

Hydrolic

Pretty sure that's cryptopia's wallet.  I didn't add up all the linda pending sales, but it looks ballpark like 1/4 of all the linda is sitting on an exchange.

I probably don't understand what you mean by that statement, but Cryptopia creates a separate Linda wallet/address for each user who transfers Linda coins to/from the exchange. Not sure why they would have it all in a bulk wallet, as you suggest.

Any updates regarding airdrop dev?

We have decided to do it via Discord. A channel will be created where people insert their Cosmos address. A  bot will collect all of the transactions and distribute them in bulk.

Unfortunately I do not know how to make discord work. I have tried in the past but I do not understand it.

For the record, I was the only other miner in icemining Sumo pool for quite a while and I had no problems at all with the way the pool was running. I feel I made excellent amounts of Sumo while I was there.

Reason I left is because I had a major issue with my mining rig and when I finally got it fixed I decided to mine a different coin for a while.

I was actually quite disappointed when I came back to mine Sumo again and I saw that the pool is offline.

Also, I had a short e-mail exchange with the pool operator and he seemed to me to be a nice, helpful person.

Just my 2 cents.

Would REALLY love a Linux version of this miner !!! Shocked

I don't want to be a pest, but curious if you have had any other requests for a Linux version.

Is it just a matter of re-compiling it, or is there quite a lot of work involved? If I had the skills, I would offer to help.

Hello!

I was able to compile it, but it somehow failed to run (crashed). I'll have debug this, but first I need to set up a Linux rig (my first one :-)).
I think I'll be able to release a Linux port in about 1-2 weeks from now.

Right now I'm working on increasing the mining speed a little bit (perhaps 1%) and adding non-SSL/TLS pools support [because looks like that's what most users want].

Thanks

That's amazing! Thanks very much for your response and for your effort.

Re: Wolf's XMR GPU Miner

Can someone explain to me how to lower the % of GPU being used? My computer is very slow when mining and would like it to be somewhat functional.

Would really appreciate some help.

Thanks Cheesy

GPU utilization shouldn't make your computer slow unless the applications you are running need the GPU (games, for example).

By default, the xmr.conf enables CPU mining as well, which is generally very inefficient depending on your CPU. If you disable CPU mining in the xmr.conf, then your computer will run faster and will use much less energy and create less heat.

To disable CPU mining, set the "threads" value to 0 (zero) for the "-1" device, like this:

Quote
               "index": -1,
               "threads": 0,
               "rawintensity": 16,
               "worksize": 16

Hello all!

New here, but not new to mining. I was a relatively early miner of bitcoin and I did fairly well with that a couple years ago. Smiley

Thanks to WolfO for this miner. I have recently complied it and got it running on Ubuntu 16.04 with AMD RX 470 using AMDGPU-Pro 16.50 driver.

It's working pretty well so far:

Quote
[12:31:34] Thread 0, GPU ID 0, GPU Type: Ellesmere: 556.75H/s
[12:31:38] Thread 0, GPU ID 0, GPU Type: Ellesmere: 556.53H/s
[12:31:41] Thread 0, GPU ID 0, GPU Type: Ellesmere: 556.84H/s
[12:31:45] Thread 0, GPU ID 0, GPU Type: Ellesmere: 556.95H/s
[12:31:48] Thread 0, GPU ID 0, GPU Type: Ellesmere: 556.79H/s
[12:31:52] Thread 0, GPU ID 0, GPU Type: Ellesmere: 557.15H/s
[12:31:55] Thread 0, GPU ID 0, GPU Type: Ellesmere: 556.51H/s
[12:31:59] Thread 0, GPU ID 0, GPU Type: Ellesmere: 555.99H/s
[12:32:02] Thread 0, GPU ID 0, GPU Type: Ellesmere: 556.08H/s
[12:32:04] Share accepted: 60/60 (100.00%)
[12:32:04] Total Hashrate: 556.08H/s

I am considering buying a couple more cards and putting them in other systems in my house (daughters' computers) and I obviously I want to mine with those too.

Some pools seem to allow you to differentiate between individual miners so that you can see separate stats for each one. Dwarfpool, for example, states:

Quote
"You can determine your rigs separately for better vardiff, lower rejects and detailed statistic. Use workername: WALLET . WORKER-ID"

Would this work with Wolf's GPU Miner? Would I just change the xmr.conf file and append a worker-ID number after my wallet address, like:

Quote
"user": "47HpEzStPJGjUyRbj6DXJyN993s3busRLjVxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFgvQNizy9urPytC4tJB6sf yeuUKk1qZy.123",

Also, does this work with all pools, or just with ones that specifically support it?

Thanks in advance for any help.
