Re: Bitcoin-backed stablecoin that is primarily native to the Bitcoin blockchain.

It seems you seek a self-reinforcing economic system where each component amplifies the other’s value, ensuring the ecosystem’s growth and sustainability.  Bitcoin behaves then as the escrowed asset that pegs the stable with a globally recognized value. Say 1a smart contract based AI data pipeline operation across the network is worth 1,000 sats, i.e., its value is directly tied to BTC’s market price,  the pegging ensures that stablecoin has real economic worth, preventing speculative bubbles within the token layer.

Is this what you want?  Do you want to see a demo?

What is the level of interest, if any, of a Bitcoin Hard wallet Point of Sale ?  Operation: The hard wallet stays in a private vault in a secure location and a web based Point of Sale Kiosk presents the QR code total to the customer.    Like Cash sale, no third party.

Re: Shiba Inu turns into privacy coin like Monero or ZCash?

In fact if they had serious problems with regulators, they would not be traded on centralized exchanges. It would only be possible to buy confidential coins on a decentralized exchange. We heard many times already that all anonymous coins will be banned soon. But as we see they are still available for use.

They're still available for trading, but that doesn't mean it's going to be that way forever. After all, regulators don't like something that goes against KYC and AML laws. Slowly but surely, exchanges are distancing themselves from privacy coins such as Monero and Zcash. Even mainstream investors are pouring their money elsewhere. These days it's all about NFTs, "meme" coins, the metaverse, and AI. You don't see any new privacy-oriented crypto projects anymore.

Gone are the days where developers actually cared about users' privacy. Now it's all about making as much money as possible while keeping mainstream governments happy. Why would Shiba Inu turn into a privacy coin when it could face pressure from the regulators? The "meme" coin is fine just the way it is. If developers still push the "privacy agenda", they will make it optional instead of mandatory for users of the coin. That is to keep everyone happy. We'll see how everything will turn out to be in the long run, especially when competition is pretty stiff in the crypto/Blockchain space. Who knows if SHIBA won't last for long? Just my thoughts Grin

"Project premise
Web 3 services are vended. A COG is a Web 3 vending machine that exchanges services for Tokens.

Overview and Ethos
The COGSmachine community of developers created the COGSmachine platform without VC funding. COGSmachine is a network of humans and synthetics building technology for the betterment and advancement of society.

Description
A COG is a single machine that run COGSmachine software and communicates with other machines using $COGS tokens. Networked COG(s) communicating with one another speaking the $COGS protocol comprise a COGSmachine. "

COGSmachine stack can turn any digital asset or NFT into a bound token  (BT) .

Then you can privately exchange assets like this shown in this video of selling  a CQDN, BT, and SSL Cert over private networks.  see:
https://twitter.com/COGSmachine/status/1656072890242957314?s=20

Thousands of years of history proof that Buying and selling is a private common law contract.   See Bill of Rights 7th Amendment and Article I Section X US Constitution (no state may impair the obligation of contract) .

.. continued from above ..

Consensus
COGSmachine consensus is an event driven network.  Transactional events are observed by COGS in the Witness Pool and multi factor verifiable.   Since each machine has identity via BT, SSL cert, and event driven hashed blocks (see: https://twitter.com/COGSmachine/status/1673887121864634369?s=20), double spend, forgery are mitigated.   Vault/Wallet Application is but one of many possibilities.   For example here is a p2p private chat app that exchanges $COGS for chat messages.  The message is sent with $COGS token(s) and received by the peer upon consensus.  https://twitter.com/COGSmachine/status/1669752168260284428?s=20

Implementation
The COGSmachine architecture is shown here --> : https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Fx-VlxUXoAUIRUW?format=jpg&name=medium
. COGSmachine software runs in a docker container on a linux host and is packaged with NGINX, uWSGI, Flask, Python. Each COG has a digital identity via a "Bound Token" (BT), COGSmachine Qualified Domain Name (CQDN) and companion SSL Cert.

A COG exposes services/routes with Flask and services are invoked on CQDN named nodes over HTTPS(SSL/TLS) using SHA-256 tokens.  Transactions are verified via block hashes on the “cogschain”.  Developers can create Custom Tokenized Web3 actions with COGSmachine classes and Python Flask.  If hashes are validated via verifyHash the Flask route logic will execute.

Verified transactions are propagated through the network by the $COGS protocol.

Privacy
The 'cogschain' is stores no human readable information.

Status

Testnet is in alpha and will be go live later this summer.

Bitcoin as Crypto Standard ?
by
cogsmachine
on 14/07/2022, 14:14:56 UTC
Shouldn't all crypto be backed by bitcoin ?
How could a "Bitcoin Standard" emerge?  For example, if you could pay for food service etc everywhere with bitcoin, would that be enough to essentially drive bitcoin as a backing standard ?

The majority of investors and traders are increasingly understanding crypto fundamentals before investing, is there any crypto that moves itself according to its fundamentals both now and in the future?

wave 1 Crypto fundamentals:   Decentralized banking driven by engineers/engineering
wave 2 Crypto fundamentals:   Envious financiers bringing financial schemes from their world of centralized banking to the crypto world which has led to losses, scams, schemes,
wave 3 Crypto fundamentals:   Finishing the job of wave 1 via Decentralized everything new (web3,4,5...) network and  driven by engineers/engineering  financed and fueled with crypto only

ect.
What do you think? Is Web5 really a catch phrase? Or is it completely different from Web 3.0? Do you think we may be too early to replace "Web 3.0" even when the world is stuck with Web 2.0? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
