Is this coin dead?

I used to mine RVN with R9 280x and RX 570 with avermore 1.2 on windows 7. But on windows 10, my RX 570 is not starting at all and declared sick. I tried 1.4 still the same problem but my R9 280x is doing fine.

This coin might have a future that's why I'm supporting it in anyway I can. I have 2 GPUs (R9280x & RX570) mining this coin 24/7 and I'm also claiming this coin from faucet

I meant the developer of Prospector miner

Is this the config for prospector? I have no problem with the config for the prospector, the problem is when the miner is connecting to the developer's pool to mine for the developer. It seems that the developer's pool is not live. After 10 failed re-connection attempt, the miner will close. But I found my way around with this problem but will roughly lose 30 mins of mining when I am asleep or away. I created a batch file to restart the miner when it close after a failed re-connection.

I like this miner. I just found out about this miner because of cognitio. Too bad the developer seems to be very busy to continue developing this miner. I hope someone will step-in to continue his work.

For those of you having a problem when the miner is reconnecting to developer's pool, I found a work around. Create a batch file that will launch the miner. Though 10 reconnection to developers' pool is pretty long, it will take roughly 30 minutes before the miner restart, but on the brighter side at least you don't have to worry about your miner being idle for a couple of hours while you are sleeping or away.

What miner can I use for AMD cards? I've been using Prospector but after a couple of hours my miner  is getting disconnected to the pool and will close after a few failed re-connection.

Thanks mate. I played around with config and did some core clock overclocking, my cpd now for R9 280x is 0.33 and 0.37 for RX 570. Though, I'm having 1% stale share and my settings are running for 12 hours now.

Sorry it's was a typo error. The thing is I was computing the total cpd I'm getting and ended up typing the sum for RX 570. My R9 280x is 0.21 and RX 570 0.35.

Hi. I just wanna ask if the new version of miner is compatible with windows 10 and latest amd adrenaline driver.

My GPUs are R9 280x and RX 570. I'm getting 0.21 and 0.56 cpd accordingly. Is it that much cpd I'm suppose to be getting with these cards?

I just read the readme file included, there is no instruction of what command to type in the terminal or what sorts of commands shall I issue in the terminal prior to running the miner (I am really new to ubuntu). And I just found out that my R9 280x is not supported in the latest release of ubuntu, the last version it is supported is 14.03.

Now I have been mining on Win10 (previously I was mining at Win7). For the past 24 hours, my cards are hashing just as they do in win7 (r9 280x 9800, rx 570 8700 average on win7). When I woke up this morning I was surprise to see that my XFX 4gb RX 570 is hashing at 18k but pool reports otherwise.

My Gigagbyte R9280x 3G is hashing at 9800 with 1200/1500 (core/mem) work batch set at 8 and the latest amd driver.

Well apparently, I did experience this in 0.31 that's why I switched to 0.34 thinking maybe it will solve the issue.
What I am saying that I had no problem with 0.31 mining only with HD 5770. But when I am mining together with R9 280x, the problem occur. So I switched to 0.34 hoping the issue will be solved. And no, the watchdog didn't restart the miner. I had to click the cancel button in order for the miner to be restarted. It sucks when this kind of error occur while I am sleeping, my miner got to be idle for a long period of time.

I am using 2 different AMD gpu, R9 280x and HD 5770 at workbatch of 8. Before I got my R9 280x, I've been mining with lolminer 0.31 and set the workbatch at auto with HD 5770 24/7 without a hiccup.
