Re: What's going on?

People probably noticed that bitcoin is hard to move, as well as xrp and eth, all coins in the top 50 are probably very difficult to move because they all have high volumes. Nonetheless, they realised they could make some money if they get together and make moves on the small ones like the pump and dump scheme, they don't care about the coin itself, they don't care what happens to the families they leave behind, all they care about is their money.

Re: How to make big profits from exchanging bitcoin to altcoins

Groups of pumps and dumps should be caught as this is a serious problem in the cryptocurrency. You don't take advantage of pure market movements, but you manipulate a whole market to your own will and bait people to join you in the rise. I wouldn't call it clever or creative, but rather illegal, depending on where you are. That's why I have never participated in those. It's pretty much stealing.

Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin

The only secure coins for me with how the market is going right now is a stablecoins. Thanks to Stop-loss, I converted my holdings to stablecoin automatically, but now maybe it's a good entry point again, and I'd advise you to make your huge Bitcoin holding and perhaps some Ethereum and top 5 coins. We have proven to be durable overtime and do not turn to massive losses overnight as we saw with so many coins listed on the 2018 exchanges.

Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil?

Stop loss is one of trading's most useful tools. Personally, I lost a substantial amount of money just because I was in a shoulder-free business. Unfortunately, choosing the right stop size is particularly difficult now because market manipulators simply knock out the stops with some actions. However, even if this factor is taken into account, it is impossible not to use such a useful tool, because without using it you will surely lose more. Stop loss minimises your risk and the likelihood of error.

There are too many high hopes, but let's say that, of course. Nonetheless, 2020 could be a reasonable year on which to base the upcoming events, we have to face the fact that such events could change our expectations. Just be prepared for any scenario, and I bet we're going to be safe. It would be halving, but the price does not change immediately. However, scammers even make it much smarter than before.

Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live

While I agree that Bitcoin may not be the best or the perfect cryptocurrency, but it may be the first, the most widely recognised and, in my opinion, the most used, it can last for a generation and more. Although we can't really tell exactly how things are going to happen in the future, of course, but I have high hopes on Bitcoin more than any other cryptocurrency on the market. Competitors will always be there, and there are signs that we have a safe and competitive environment, something we should be very proud of. Now, with the technology of blockchain, I am sure that it will be embraced by more and more companies and even nations, and that is good. Adoption in the block, however

Re: How do you define a good exchange?
by

I honestly believe that the most important thing about the exchange is security including customer privacy. You can also add some promotion to your exchange maybe to increase volume. Another thing that is really important is tiny fees. Many exchange fees on this day are so ridiculous. Good luck with the exchanges and I hope you'll provide us with anything better than we have now.

Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins?
by

Investing in those top coins is still a good idea as they were on the market with their community's support that can attract more investors. We have a higher risk, unlike those newly completed ICOs, as those investors would dump if the price goes down. Even though not all new coins have that nature, it takes time to develop as I observed, and you need patience to wait for your profits.

If we all hold for no particular goal then we miss the opportunity to sell. If I see the price of the altcoin I held looks good, I'm selling. There is no point in not selling, we hold, and at the right time we will sell. The planning I'm doing isn't really difficult because I'm doing almost nothing while waiting to sell the right price. I also sell altcoins to add bitcoin to my portfolio from time to time

Crypto is rapidly falling, with all coin market prices decreasing equally. There will be an increase in the value of coins as bitcoin has steadily risen again. Don't panic and face this situation carelessly. Consider this an opportunity to invest in a variety of potential baskets and retain potential assets before market price returns and are ready for sale to generate profits

Of course, there's no debate and options here, it's always our families that's why we've tried playing to be able to give our loved ones a better future and hope for it. There's no way anyone can prefer gambling over their families, perhaps there's but a total idiot and a total gambling addict doesn't have self-control. To have a good life you need to know when to save money and when to gamble.

Re: Why hasn't any altcoin replaced bitcoin?
by
coin_gambler
on 30/12/2019, 19:24:16 UTC
Bitcoin has been introduced on its own and blockchain system at a time, there are some basic reasons behind this argument. Bitcoin also introduced the cryptocurrency to the whole world, people first knew about Bitcoin and then other cryptocurrencies. So Bitcoin has a special reputation around the world and it has already built an established position, it's common understanding that other cryptocurrencies are just Bitcoin's copies, so it's really hard for an Altcoin to get Bitcoin replaced. It's a matter of recognition and legitimacy, I guess. Therefore, as far as this problem is concerned, Bitcoin is out of competition with other altcoins, as the founder of this blockchain network

Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think?
by
coin_gambler
on 30/12/2019, 17:52:04 UTC
I guess it's all right to sell our properties to invest in bitcoin. The main thing we did study and watch the behaviour of the Bitcoin market seriously before investing Bitcoin. And if you think that bitcoin is going to pump up, the decision to sell bitcoin bicycles is the right one. The error that often happens is that people are only interested in that bitcoin without their analysis and selling their valuables to bitcoin, but it turns out that bitcoin dumps lose a lot.

It's not going to be a good time to buy altcoins for a while from now. We're in the bear market and short upswings like that doesn't mean anything as it comes back down in a day. The good time to invest is going to be when there will be strong signs of continuous uptrend.

I'm trying to get my attention from the bitcoin and crypto all in all by doing something else in life. Even though it's really addictive and I still spend quite some time on it I don't care about the price as much as I'm meeting friends more, playing sports and so on.

Never happened to me, I used to forget the exchanges that I deposited the coins to. However, finding them after a long time makes you feel really rich even if it is a small amount of bitcoins.

Re: TETHER 'PRINTED' 250,000,000 USD, WILL BITCOIN PRICE RISE?
by

Tether released a statement that they received a deposit of 250,000,000.00 and as such created new tethers. Will this have a positive impact on the price of bitcoin?
https://bitcoinist.com/tether-grant-250-million-usdt-bitcoin/
I don't know why would that actually make the price of the bitcoin surge. The fact that they created more tether doesn't mean that more money will be poured into bitcoin. It's just there to give it to the people who want to sell btc isn't it?

I think coin among the top 20 has the potential to x5 in few month when the market recover and more people invest in the coin because the crowd also helps to sometimes determine how well a coin will grow.
That is true, to be fair right now as the whole market is down almost any coin has the potential to go up significantly in a short amount of time.

Well it is going to happen though definitely not right now, probably we'll have to wait for a bigger pump like a few months or something. Doubt it is possible to reach anything near 9k this year
