You can use Coinbates without owning any BATES. Our base accounts are free. If you would like to earn more crypto cashback at our merchants, then you will have to acquire BATES to purchase a Premium or Maximum membership.
Do you think people who are less versed when it comes to tech will be able to use your platform?
This is the kind of person that we are building this for. Even those less versed in tech are familiar with ecommerce, especially in the United States, with 70% of the adult population engaging in digital shopping.

Yes, the core team have worked together before on high volume performance marketing campaigns, at Adlab, for both large and small brands.
Will there be masternodes since this is a decentralized platform? How many tokens do I need to run a masternode?
These concepts are not relevant to the project.
Does this mean Coinbates won't be decentralized?
Architectural decentralization for this project does not make sense at this present time, and we are not going to disingenuously force decentralization into the model like other projects have, just to be more appealing on the surface of things. If decentralization becomes a sensible possibility for Coinbates, we will transition to it, similar to Binance.
We promote decentralization through actually using the distributed ledger networks for payments, in fulfilling crypto cashback.

We will handle it in house (we already have experience managing multi-million dollar digital marketing campaigns) and also augment with outside firms.

This is a great question. Coinbates is operational today, in beta. Regardless of the outcome of ICO, we will continue to develop, promote and expand the project.
This project is amazing. I am sure if you launched last summer you would've raised $50M-100M ICO! These are some amazing mainstream brands already available on Coinbates. I'll be using this, also going to refer it to some friends who I know already shop at stores like Bodybuilding.com, GNC and Calvin Klein.

Have you had a security audit of your prototype? I've seen a lot of slick looking stuff rendered almost useless because it wasn't built with security in mind.
We are certainly security minded, and are naturally versed in the adversarial thinking native to crypto. We have both inhouse expertise for securing our systems, and we consult with 3rd party security experts from time to time on certain aspects.
