Re: [ANN] Conspiracy Coin (X11 PoW) Exposing The Slave Matrix

Hey guys! Fun week of trading with some extra volume on Poloniex!!!

In addition to ConspiracyCoin doing awesome work with the blog and the cards we (the community and investors) can do some stuff to help bring attention and visibility to the coin, and therefore the conspiracies that abound around us.

Here is a couple hints to hopefully get some continued attention and increase our market cap and volume/visibility...

1) If on twitter, promote the coin to your friends
 * Follow @ConspiracyCoin and RT their tweets. Also, look for opportunites to cross post about conspriacies and tag @ConspiracyCoin, he may know of IlluminatiCard that applies to the discussion (I had an example this month about flouride in water).
 * Follow other CYC community twitter accounts and RT their CYC related stuff!!! I'm coin_craze Smiley
 * Send occasional tweets about #CYC and it's current hashrate
 * Send out tweets about CYC current coin supply and market cap, that shows investors what a huge opportunity CYC currently is to invest in.
** IE "#CYC is now over 1 million total supply (max of 33) x11 and market cap of only about 23,000. TONS of room for the moon!" https://twitter.com/coin_craze/status/482879267810729984

2) Contact Bittrex exchange and others that you like to use and continue to ask them to support and add CYC. If you can think of clever ways to request it they usually like that. Bittrex especially. Also, make sure to ask during periods of decent volume for us because it makes them want to add the coin to capture their commisions on an already rolling train.

3) keep mining, and keep buying!!! activity attracts people to the coin. I continue to mine and actively trade during these times. Trading small amounts on these swings keeps the visibility up as the volume is a big thing people are looking for in an investment. I keep most of my coins safe in my wallet but do trade a portion actively. This may work well for you too!

Where is the new wallet, they wanted to release it 2 weeks ago?

Stop being ignorant, many times they've mentioned that they wont have an release date as not to put the coder under pressure to ensure that we get the best quality wallet, something that we actually need, instead of a buggy piece of crap, so please stfu and stop asking the same question on and on without reading previous replies from the members of the foundation.

May want to have a look at at the Silkcoin thread for wallet info... I'm not sure how many devs overlap but they definitely are sharing the QT  codebase in some way or other. It's not a good scene there.

The code can be carried forward, but I think most of the community is too disillusioned to care about SC anymore.

The main dev admitted he doesn't have the coding skills.

The vision was a good one, but maybe no one has the coding skills to implement without lots of time or lots of good devs.

I agree about the disillusionment...

Has anyone tried to connect the dots to JStuhlman and CAIx guys. They forked their client from SC. If there is some critical bug here, it could be there too? Or possibly fixed, and we can just merge back to the SC codebase.

I don't have time to dev against this coin, but I'm not dumping my SC. Emotions are running high in this thread. When you hit a problem you have to think through solutions. Not crap yourself, dump all your coins and loose out on any possible recovery.

Just IMO but the point of open source software is that we can all contribute and advance and FIX the codebase.

Aren't we are in a better place if there is a recovery now that the premine is dumped and distributed?

TL;DR...

Can someone summarize the bug. It's just code, it can be modified. Did they break the blockchain or what?

Any community members have access to the GITHUB? Is someone already looking at "the bug"... Will the devs turn over the github to us?

I'll hold to zero, for every coin someone is selling someone else is buying.

Spruced-up the logo I liked... (Just wanted to see what it would look like if it were a little more bubbly)

I like both looks, but my effects are limited in my paint program. xD (Wacom tablet helped, but not much on this program.)

Looks better when it is reduced...

From OP:
Lol Cheesy i will make some logo Tongue

Whatever design we have, I will see about having it made into a physical coin.

Will cost about $600 - $1300 for the strikers to be made, then about $2.00-$4.00 for a decent deep-relief coin to be made, colored. (Medal quality)

On the cheap, about $250 - $390 for the strikers to be made, then about $0.80-$1.80 for a decent simple relief, uncolored. (Token quality)

I don't want to get into "Mint quality" coins... Not yet anyways. That is pushing over $10 a coin. (Unless you get in massive bulk.)

That is a good start. If I may provide a bit of constructive criticism though... I think it's a bit cheesy, the colors don't quite work IMO. I think the font is a bit off too. - not trying to be too harsh... I'm no artist so take what I say with a grain of salt:)

For my perspective of honor I think about military medals as sources of inspiration... clean lines, embossing, classic colors, elegant fonts.

Check out this us chart of medals: http://www.vva.org/WebWeekly/html/images/MedalsChart.png

I think Medal of Honor, Silver Star, Flying Cross styles are great and possibly coming in line with some of the suggested color schemes.

I'm no graphics artist or I'd mock something up, but I'm sure someone who reads this and is skilled in Inkscape or Illustrator could knock something out quickly:)

Code reviews, such as what Polo has been doing, probably would be a good idea BEFORE you list a coin on the exchange.

Agree, but please handle any "suspicions" directly with the developer or community in private before publicly spreading ignorance-based FUD and costing people money.

Any Block explorer out there yet? I'm missing a 6 hour window of tx's from 0215 CDT to 0655 CDT on my wallet. Trying to troubleshoot, and waiting on export of txid's from the pool I'm using.

Thanks:)

Just dropping in to say, I know price drop to 500+ sats looks discouraging. I'm currently mining ("at a loss") and holding my CYC for longer term. This coin has potential. Not an outrageous total supply, dev seeming active, and trying to promote the forum etc...

As more features get successfully added to the coin, traders will eventually start noticing it.

Good work and transparency will get noticed in time.

The only worry I currently have for this coin is the openness of how the 7k coins every 5k blocks are being used. At current price it's nothing, but over time as the coin gains value, gets added to more exchanges (Bittrex hopefully, etc...) then the usage of these support coins will become more important as FUDsters will have nothing to FUD about... So, not sure if it's been thought over but showing the address they are stored at/spent from would be good. People worry about premines because it sets up for a large dump in the future when the coin becomes valuable, etc...

Hope for good things for CYC in the coming months. Keep up the good work.

It's not letting me vote, but I would vote to reduce the coins being released in the next POW stage.

I would encourage you to push a new update that changes the retarget to < 11701. The net hash is down to 200mh, I had 45mh hitting it but I've lost so much $ in the last 1.5 days I had to pull to a different coin:(

I really would rather put a portion of my gpu hashes on CYC, but can't till the difficulty fixes.

Keep up the good work! I can't wait for this coin to pick up some serious steam, laying down a great base:)

yeah, it will take a while unfortunately.

Mandatory update.

mac wallet: https://github.com/C-Y-Coin/cyc-master/releases/download/latest/ConspiracyCoin-Qt-v1.2.dmg.zip

linux daemon: https://github.com/C-Y-Coin/cyc-master/releases/download/latest/conspiracycoind.zip

Uploading new wallet shortly - compiling Mac, Windows and Linux daemon at the moment.

The new diff algo kicks in at 11720 so you need to update before that block

It looks like getting to 11720 may take quite some time with the current block times I've been seeing?

This is really cool! Love the features of the exchange, and the built in block explorers and wallet features. Very underutilized exchange so far, once people start using it I can see the liquidity increasing quickly!

Good work!

hey moonmoon and all. I'm catching up on particle coin. you are hardworking and I think there are great things ahead...

A few thoughts looking on at the work that is happening...

The multipool is nice and could be cool with expansion,  BUT... To me the biggest value that there will be is in the kick ass exchange with proper professional order types. I think your time is far better spent getting that to market and promoting it so that you can market the exchange to start capturing a respectable trade volume. Once you have volume (via some of the highest volume altcoin trading pairs) then make sure the cool wallet launches, then maybe add multipool features after all that....

Just my thoughts:)
