~~~
There is no one that can guarantee that you will profit when using a bot. And if they are they are full of BS.
I want to build a bot that trades automatically on a hourly basis. I was thinking of a monthly subscription around $20. But If it losses you money then you don't pay.
The trading info is available to everyone for free but if you want the bot to trade automatically then you have to pay for the subscription.
That way I will use the money to continusly improve the service and you will earn money.
A win-win situation.
interesting idea. especially the part that you don't have to pay if you don't profit from the bot. i have one question.
how is the bot going to work?
- is it just using Exchanger API and the user sets the trades
- or will it find it on its own and trade for you
- or is it going to analyze the market and suggest best options that user can choose
nonetheless i am interested to see how it is going to work
It's going to use an exchange API and make trades for you based on analysis of the market.
Right now it's only an idea. I am experimenting with different technical indicators to find a system that profits more than it losses.
i have checked many bots a while ago, but i could not yet find a bot that meets my needs.
there are currently two sets of bots found. (just google bitcoin or altcoin trading bot and you will find many)
the open sourced bots, which are good because they are open source so there is no doubt of their true purpose. but at the same time they are not as good and don't have enough features to use.
the closed source not free bots, which are bad because you can't tell what they will do with your API keys and also you have to buy them, but they are better because they have more features.
but none of them are good enough, the only bot which can be good is the one you code or hire a developer and ask him to code it to your needs.
What would you think of a bot that is not open source but only charges you if it is profitable?
Would you pay for it or not?
well, i prefer the bot to be open source because even if i don't understand the code or don't have time to check it, others will so it can be trusted.
but if the bot is not open source but reputable, it needs to be a very good one that gets my attention. i will be hesitant to use it of course but if it is profitable i might.
can you explain more about this part,
do you have something specific in mind?
how can it charge you if it is open source?!
i know there is one bot (not sure about the name) which you have to have a certain amount of an altcoin (same name as the bot) to be able to trade (so it is free but charges you somehow) but it is not open source.
You miss read.
I wrote "not open source"
That was also an idea that came to my mind.
Implement a fee on profits and make the software itself for free.
That's also a way to guarantee longterm revenues for the developer.
And everyone has the possibility to try it out.
I think that is the most ethical way and everyone wins on it. Are you a developer?
I did call some of my friends and already got a solution for the "system" of trading.
I got an algorithm that helps you a lot to indicate if you should buy or sell.
I haven't tested it yet (because I have no bot) ... I can't say if it really works.
If you share the solution I can try to build it into Coine and give you access to it.
Hey guys,
I sometimes do some trading on exchanges... but it's annyoing to have an eye on it all the time and set the orders - that's why I wanna get a trading bot that sets the orders for me.
Does anyone know if something like this still exists or if I have to do it myself?
Currently I use Poloniex Exchange.
Do you trade on a daily basis?
If so you can check out the "bot" I've built at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1335907.0
I'm looking for a bot that plays the "ping pong" game.
It sells coins and if the price decreases it buys them again. A never ending loop that makes sure it's profitable and doesn't burn coins.
Best thing would be if the bot does acknowledge price changes and does automatically change the sell/order prices.
Does your bot support this?
Not yet.
I need to figure out a system for it to be profitable intra day. It's currently using MACD for daily charts, and it profitable. When I apply it for hour charts it losses more than it gains.
Do you have a system for trading? If so would you mind to share it?
Coine, if you are offering clear, good and legitimate tool and you don't charge money for it. Then why are you so strongly against  making it an open source?
I would understand if you were selling this bot, but otherwise - not going for full disclosure with open source is a little strange for me.
I have answered this question before. The reason right now is that the API is not 100% secure. By giving away the source code I compromise the  users information.
I will turn around the question and ask you instead. What would you do with the code if I open sourced it?
i don't like javascrypt(especially if it tell you to install something via browser), i prefer if it was coded in php with a solid web gui
Javascript does not tell you to install something in the browser. Most websites on the internet run javascript in some way or another. Many major websites are either running or moving away from php to modern javascript frameworks.
You can build a solid GUI with javascript.
Ive subscribed, and I've also noticed that problem of $390 every day. I followed your bot's advice once, and iv'e already made $5.
One tip to put in the OP and site, say that your bot is only a guide and is right most of the time, but not all of it.
Thanks, that's a good idea.
Been receiving the emails from your bot, recommendation is to hold every day and it seems to think the price of btc is $390 every day.
Everything working correctly?
Everything is working correctly. It was showing the price when the trend period started.
I have fixed it, so it should be working properly tomorrow.
Thank you for noticing!
Very good if it will be open source. even if in long run it gives bit more % then im willing to use it.. even pay for it.
Not going to be open source for now. That might change in the future.
if it is web based, i don't think it need the source anymore, if there is no exe, to download it is safer, still the website need to have the green lock at least
and if it need to invest, it need an escrow that hold the funds, maybe a member of this forum
Good feedback on the "green lock" I will implement it on the next revision. Also I am not asking for your money, so no need for escrow.
Thats a great work buddy. But its developed it works give analyse the data just based on your command as well the input thats been provided or added initially and data which were often updated. It doesn't know what the real market situation. So its better to have a real time analysis
Yes! Good idea, I will make the data presentation much clearer and users will be able to change time periods as they want.
I will write it down in the development backlog and get started on it.
I like the fact that it's free and the interface is pretty good too. I'll be subscribing.
I read your story and it seems pretty convincing, hopefully I can make some profit too Smiley
Thank you. Means a lot to hear that! I hope we all will make some profit with it.
Well I just got scammed of a consequently substantial amount of money so yeah I'm rather pesimistic on such things.
But my apologies for judging in advance. And it seems like numerous people tested it and vouch for it.
I'll wait a bit and if everyone is satisfied or at least didn't get screwed I'll maybe give it a try.
Wow that's harsh man. I feel for you. Karma will get that bastard.
You're welcome.
As i have said earlier, I'm keen on trying this out but with reservation. You see, I'm into day trading thats why I want a real time data analysis. I know its a free service you are offering here, but if its not too much to ask, I still want some real time way to receive your bot's prediction.
Do you have any good go to resources on day trading? The more I learn the more I can improve the bot.
I can make the real time data available if you are interested. Just tell me in which format you would want to receive it (website, twitter, facebook, email etc).
That is look good, does is your bot can used for all of markets? Or just for btc-e? And i think you explain how is work.(tutorial) sorry i am newbie
Thanks!
Right now it's BTC on btc-e.com only.
I will start working on a tutorial for you.
There are mostly new accounts vouching for you OP but also feww Hero/Sr member.
If/when we reach page 4 and enough vouching I test your tool Grin
Page 4 here we gooooo!
Hi Looks cool, subbed, will throw $20 at it and see what happens Cheesy
Thanks for your effort man, some stable trading signals can help a lot people.
Do u usually sell within a day or does the bot also send the sell signal?
This is just the first version so it still primitive.
I sell the same day as the bot recommends. It will will send you a recommendation to sell, but use your own judgement when to sell. As we all know bitcoins are extremely volatile and the prices can change drastically hour to hour.
Thank you!
i have so basic knowledge of programming so forgive me if my question is newbish
but why is their emails in the source code that can be exposed? should't it be in a database accessed by your version of the code that you are running?
It should, but maybe he just created the code rather fast. Having the database to store everything means higher cost, and not sure he'll win anything with that.
In fact this tool doesn't give anything to its creator no? That's probably the most fishy thing here, that you don't earn money with it xD
Yes, it is built fast. Now my job is to tighten it up.
My philosophy is to provide value first. If it's good the reward will follow. I have some ideas on how to monetize, the best case scenario would be that both me and the users can profit from it.
