Why did RPX rise today any news?

no news. NEO and ETH were raising pretty fast so people sold some of their RPX for these coins. But as soon as the pump lost it's momentum, they converted back to RPX.
https://www.kucoin.com/#/trade/RPX-ETH

In terms of ETH, RPX has only been loosing it's value recently, so I would say it's a pump if it makes at least 3x which is pretty easy on such a thin market. 10 BTC it more than enough to move the price 3x.

Nice to hear really important for the ecosystem development questions!

We do this in the interest of the project and token holders to create more value at the moment when we officially release tokens to exchanges. If tokens will be allowed to be transferred and traded before their official release on exchanges it creates grounds for fraud, unfair market etc with our tokens, we would like to prevent it to make TGE Round 2 efficiently.

Does that mean, PRP won't be listed on exchanges and first opportunity to sell tokens will be after tge2 and converting to PPR?

Sir, 2% of the sold 675,543.319 PRP is 13,510 PRP, isn't it? And you write "16,888.583 PRP is allocated to the campaign bounty pool"
And When bounty distribution?

In 3 weeks after end of bounty program (December 1), according to their russian Telegram channel.
2% is calculated from total supply (including advisory board's share). 80% was sold, other 20% = 18% (for advisor) + 2% bounty.

PRP token generation completed / future token sales update[/center]

Ok, after reading all this I see one good point, one bad and one question Smiley

Somewhat bad is that bounty rewards were shrinked down to 16900. It is a rediculously small amount, taking into consideration that 2% of total PRP supply (>5M) was promised to be distributed in september's version of whitepaper. I might be making a mistake, but in August it was even 3%. But what's offered now as a bounty is 5 times less. If I have known it beforehand, I wouldn't bother participating. The other side is that not too much free tokens will be distributed, so this supply won't affect token price too much.

Very good news is that all 45% will be distributed after TGE2. In case of airdrop, one can get significant share of tokens proportionally to investment. This looks motivating to invest some extra cash.
Hope you won't change rules this time.

And a question is about PRP not being available on ethereum mainnet. Can you explain, what does that mean to token holders?

Paper wallet is a safe way to go. Generate it, print a couple of copies (to store in different places) and never use your private key until you want to cash out. That should be pretty safe.

But why are they trying to hype this coin? it is almost useless, i dont even understand why some people are saying that it is worth it.

Oh, coin doesn't have to be useful at all to get some cap. Look at UET (useless ethereum token), which managed to get as much as quater million usd.
Another example is Dogecoin. This meme coin was developed to show people how careless they are investing in useless coins. But investors didn't get the joke and it's evaluated $100M+.

Does anyone have news (information) about what price will sell the token of the project in the second phase of ICO.

Nobody knows yet what the price is going to be when PRP hits exchanges, and you're asking about TGE2 price now Smiley If you really feel lke buying some PRP, look close for it to be added on some exchanges AND wait for the bounty program to finish. When bounty participants start selling their "free" tokens, you may have an opportunity to buy some PRP even cheaper than it was during ICO. Just wait for an announcement.)

Not too late at all. Maybe you should buy not only bitcoin, but some altcoins from top10.
I believe that bitcoin will be growing in coming years, but it's dominance will be decreasing. So if you invest some cash in solid altcoins, you may get some extra profit comparing to btc only.

Buying some books and getting into the basics would save you money.
However even if you get some knowledge + experience and won't be doing trivial mistakes, it's still not easy to multiply your BTC (by >1 of cource:). I mean it's relatively easy to make some profit in USD on growing market, but making profit in BTC is takes A LOT of skill and sometimes luck.

Dr. Alexander Elder says in his book, that a very good result for the first year of trading is not to give up and not to loose more than 10%. For second year it's good if you get the same you started with. And only third year of daytrading you can hope to make some profit.

So Hodl your coins and it'll save lots of time, nerves and cash. And rather likely than not you'll get some profit.

And a little bonus to support you. Here is the poll about cryptotrading.
https://goo.gl/forms/3XVfqoendEXSVl7E2

You'll find out the results when you complete it.

I did one in one russian telegram channel and got over 150 responses from traders. 65% didn't make any profit. And 70% out of the successful part are trading less than 3 months. So this might be just a luck. Let's find out how things look here on bitcointalk!

Not until you can use it as a payment in your local shops.
I believe it's rather like a gold. It has value and limited supply? but noone use it as a payment.

Re: ETH or LTC long term?
by

Ethereum has a potential to overcome Bitcoin in capitalisation, because they are planning to move on to PoS which means mining will be no longer needed and token supply will be pretty much locked after that.
Also Buterin looks like he has pretty clear view on how to develop his project.

Re: Bitcoin Price Reaches $8,100, a New Record High
by
coiner495

that is always true, it has nothing to do with current charts!
a bad news is always causing some drop, based on the news itself it is sometimes big like 20 to 30% and sometimes small like 5%-10%

I mean now it's more true than other times, because the market is thin, volumes are low and noone wants to buy near ATH. Newcomers are waiting for some correction to enter the market.
But in long term I have no doubt bitcoin starts growing again.

It's never going to replace fiat currencies, but I have no doubt they will somehow complement them in many countries. But these CryptoJPY etc will be possible if only it helps central banks with anti money laundering, collecting taxes and stuff like that.

Technically bitcoin doesn't look so awesome in short term. It's overbought.

Divergence between new highs and RSI oscillator indicates that bulls are not that confident in further growth.
Small volumes of trades on new highs also means that big players are not participating in that.

Only one bad news is enough to break the balance.

Here is the survey. It takes less than a minute to complete.
Not all questions are required.
If you don't hold any crypro, don't answer how long have you been holding it.

I will publish results here as soon as they get collected! And please share your opinions in this topic so it doesn't sink.
