I used corsair tx850 PSU's, I had some 650's but they only put out 52amps so I didn't even try them. Been waiting on the tx850 PSU's, they just came in tonight, have to say the setup on this was super easy, 10 minutes after plugging it in I was mining. Just keeping my fingers crossed now.

are you going to OC?

Finally everything is running and I can stress less...

No, dont plan on over clocking. Not after all the problems people have posted about on here. My PSU's are prob big enough to over clock, I just dont want to risk burning anything up, not yet at least. Fans do make a faint high pitch whistle like noise. I haven't turned my fans down, cause I'd rather keep the blades as cool as possible. I haven't put the side cover back on yet either, does anyone know if it effects the temp of the miner if you leave the side cover off?

Just got mine up and running. Hashing away around 220gh/s. I have a couple of my psu wires touching the components on the top blade. Will probably try to zip tie them so they are not touching, not sure that it matters. Other than that seems good. Hopefully it will stay working.

Quick warning to anyone switching out the PSUs. You must have at least 60a on a single rail for this to work. I have now blown four PSUs trying to get this thing working. It just swallowed up two 750w 53a PSUs.

I have two 650w corsair PSU's with 52a output. Should I try those or just buy some more with 60+ amp output?

Nevermind I just did some more reading. Im going to order bigger PSU's. Sucks I just got my btminer today, now I gotta wait a couple more days for the right psu's to come in.

I ordered 1/7, just got my miner in today! Had the usual loose screws, loose antenna, and one wire pulled from the connector that connects to one of the blades. I have two 650w corsair PSU's. But I noticed a few members said these PSU's will not work. Can anyone confirm this?

Requested a refund tonight and got my tracking number in minutes. We'll see if it updates soon or if they just printed the label. 1/7 order.

I ordered at 6:58pm est time Jan 6th. Have still not received a tracking number. I guess they counted my order as a Jan 7th order (because of the time difference). Miners were falsely advertised as in stock, and that it would ship in 2 days, and I confirmed this with btmine before ordering. It has now been 9 days since I ordered, still no tracking number from btmine, just one excuse after another.

I also ordered on the 6th (probably on the late side), got tracking today.  Later than I want, but I've been monitoring things and can understand a day here and there.

I think folks are awfully gun-shy with all the scammers everywhere else.  The shipping here has been discussed (shipping out in a few days, 2 days to HK - where it gets DHL shipping number, then arrive).  I think a day-ish for the time difference and anything unforseen, and we're still on track.  People are jumping the gun, IMHO.

It seems that perhaps the initial promise might have been a day or two over enthusiastic, and I don't think people understood the ship-out time and the time-to-HK-for-DHL-tracking.  But still, c'mon people.  We already saw folks get stuff quickly - it just doesn't seem nearly as quickly when we're waiting for our own stuff...

I bought mine 7pm est time jan 6, hoping for a tracking number soon. Im pretty confident btmine's product will deliver. Just don't see why sellers don't just say 1 week shipping time, if that's what it's gonna take.

Not very impressed with this guy. I ordered one of these 5 days ago. Was promised it would ship within 2 days, still no tracking number. Wonder if they are using are machines to mine bitcoin for themselves before they ship?

Would love to buy one or more of these, but question regarding the PSU...
Is it a single 900w PSU that comes w/ the unit? if so, whats its 80+ rating?...is it a quality PSU?

I would assume, to make it USA 110v usable, all I gotta do is plug it up w/ a standard PC power cord right? (Im assuming the plug on the PSU for power is the same as any other, its the side of the cable that goes into the wall is the only thing thats different....)

I am also wondering if a standard USA 110v PC power cord will be all that is needed to power the supplied PSU?

Yea I would definitely forget. Put a copy of your wallet.dat file on a few usbs, cds, maybe print one out. Store them in separate locations. Maybe give a copy to someone you trust (ALOT), incase anything ever happened to you. Oh yea and encrypt the wallet.dat file too.

Pretty sure progress in the efficiency of mining rigs will outweigh that of the cost of power.
