You don't seem to have that many sales. I see a few on some good deals here but not many. You need to advertise more. I tried selling on bitly but I never had anyone interested. It seems very difficult to make money on sites like this. Maybe someone here knows more about it?

I would like to see some website scripts and more business-related tools available.

We are indeed still growing with about 4K registered users and a few thousand products created/listed, but there's certainly room for improvement. We're ramping up our marketing efforts for example so we can attract more sellers, who in turn will be bringing more buyers to the platform Smiley

Hey everyone, we've updated the CoinMall platform! What's changed:

- Added IPN to CoinMall, now you can automate a lot of advanced actions after a buyer has made a purchase
- Added markdown support to listing description and store description. Make texts bold/italic/large and much more
- Made purchase details pop out, so buyers don't get confused about where their purchase details can be found
- Made email required for anonymous buyers
- Numerous other tweaks and bugfixes

More coming soon!

CoinMall fits the bill: https://www.coinmall.com/

We're an eBay-like marketplace, but exclusively focused on virtual products (like eBooks, gift cards, game keys etc) and also offer Escrow on crypto purchases so buyers remain safe during trades.

Happy to answer any questions you may have!

@coinmallio: what happens if you turn out to be a scam?
Sure, the trusted escrows don't have access to the funds, but YOU do....

Good question!

1. We're a public company whose founders are not pseudonymous, and are located in civilized countries where theft of funds would result in us going to prison
2. We've been operating since Q1 2017 and have facilitated hundreds of successful sales already, so there's a successful track record without any hiccups or mismanagement of funds
3. We've poured a lot of money and time into realizing CoinMall. It'd be foolish to waste all of that and burn our reputation in the process

Hi,

I see your site have a payment option call 'WYRE' which allows buyer to pay with their credit card and the seller will recevie bitcoin as payment.

Is this funtion working now? And is the payment to seller transfered to their bitcoin wallet automaticly every time?

Hey there,

We are in the final stages of integrating Wyre. Once implemented it will indeed work as you describer: the buyer pays with their credit card, the seller will receive their Bitcoin automatically in their on-site wallet.
That will be prefect!! Hope you can finish it ASAP.

I have did some testing on your site last night and I found some problems:

1. The shoping cart does not update automaticly.
As a guest, I add an item in my shoping cart and later I when I add another one, the cart just shows the orgianal one.
As a regietered buyer, no problem to adding two items, but when I try to pay for them, I can only pay for one item.

Therefore, buyers can only purchase one item at a time.

Furthermore, the items in the shopping cart can not be changed, they can only be empty.

These will cause a lot of problems for the buyers and not good for the sellers neither.

2. After purchase, some times the download button is not working. I have try to pay the item as a guest buyer but the site did not ask me to fill in my email address. When I finish the purchase and the download page shows up, I have try to click the download button for many times and it did not works. So I refresh the page but it goes back to the home page and I can not go back to the page with the download button anymore.

My suggestion is forceing the guest buyer to enter their email address before they pay and sent the download link to that email address after they pay. Or even better is to force they to regeister before they buy anything.

3. As a seller, I can not edit my listed item. Everytime when I click edit on the items, the site shows ' there is something wrong'.

4. The upload speed is slow. Maybe a 'Remote Upload' funtion will solve the problem.

5. I suggest you add 'perfect money' in your payment methods. Also you can sell perfect money vouchers for the buyers who do not have perfect money.

Awesome, we greatly appreciate your feedback!

1. Adding multiple items to a cart does work both anonymously as well as logged in, though it's hard to see since it's divided per seller (you have to select the vendor to see the relevant item, as shown in this image: https://imgur.com/XYiUYD8). We'll make it simpler to see in the next update.

- When you mean changing the item in shopping cart, do you mean you'd like to increase/decrease the product's quantity? If so, that will indeed be added very soon, as well as paying for more than one item directly.

2. It takes a bit since we encrypt the download peer-to-peer. The encryption/decryption of the file takes a bit of time to do securely. Would you prefer us to disable the encryption/decryption of the file so that buyers can instantly download the item without waiting, instead of having the product peer-to-peer encrypted?

- We will also force anonymous buyers to enter their email during checkout, but want to keep allowing them the ability to buy items without registering (since it helps sellers make more sales)

3.  I couldn't replicate the "Something went wrong" error page when I made a new listing and edited it, could you possibly give me more info when this happened? Is it for a private/hidden product or the like?

4. The upload speed has the same issue as number 2, namely the encryption takes a bit of time. Would you prefer the upload to not get encrypted in exchange for a far faster upload speed?

5. We had indeed been looking as Perfect Money as an additional payment option, and will be adding it soon Smiley

Any additional feedback would be very welcome!

Hey, good questions.

1) We make money primarily through sellers promoting their listings, similar to eBay listings. For a fee between $.5 and $10, sellers can promote their listings in various ways.
In addition, we are due to implement a 2% fee for transactions paid in cryptocurrency to be announced next week, but 0% fees will remain for both PayPal and Stripe.

2) PayPal and Stripe payments are sent peer-to-peer, we don't custody the payment itself. It's not as risky as you think, since we provide the seller with more than enough evidence which can be shown to PayPal in case of a dispute.

3) We do indeed have a steady stream of interested buyers visiting our platform, so our primary focus is to recruit more sellers.

+1 to minerjones, this man is amazing, helped me a lot of times and isn't a man who only wants money, he is real gentleman. (Don't know other users well, they'll be good).
But OP now you are new so orders in amount will be very, very smallbut how will escrows will be able to hand a lot of orders in future? And on long term I think escrow feature won't be effective because of tons of works from them.

That's right, Minerjones is indeed an amazing member in this community!

As for your question; Escrow members will only step in when a dispute is opened. Aside from that, they will not be interacting with the order in any way, thus requiring little participation from their side. We also anticipate the number of disputed orders to be low since:

1) Sellers are disincentivized from making incorrect/dishonest listings. If a seller has many disputes to their name, the seller account will simply be closed, and due to Escrow their chances of scamming buyers is extremely low. They'd have more success attempting to scam elsewhere.

2) Buyers have no incentive to open a dispute if the product has been delivered correctly, since Escrow can also rule in favor of the seller.

That, coupled with the fact that we can grow the Escrow team when necessary, will allow us to scale to hundreds of thousands of sales a day. Beyond that, we've also got something planned, but it's too early to start talking about it now Smiley

You should consider selling on CoinMall instead of Bitify. Our Escrow system consists of trusted users within the BitcoinTalk community, including the likes of Minerjones, Dabs and others.

Here's a thread of our Escrow members: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5098289
Here's our announcement thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5140007.0

Let me know if I can help you with the migration. To make it easier, you can export your Bitify listings to CoinMall within a matter of minutes with our listing import tool found here: https://www.coinmall.com/home/thirdparty-stores
