Please ignore all posts that claim to represent coinmarket.io but dont come from the real coinmarket.io account.
The only credible source of information is named exactly coinmarket.io on bitcointalk.
Any other account is simply identity theft to escalate the rage on this thread.

We are making good progress on everything. More information coming later (when it is confirmed).
Processing unconfirmed (pending) withdrawals multiple times per day (~1000 processed in 48h) and fixing the rest of the coindaemons.
DOGE wallet (fixed) is waiting for your withdrawal requests. Please cancel all orders and request withdrawals.

You have THREE HOURS LEFT to return 1,362,686 DOGE to DK6X3t77BhxQojv3v5cvvHMgd2PXyeYUh3
The dogecoin wallet will be online in ~24 hours (or less). Downloading the blockchain.
We are not sure wtf is happening with the server, but its very sluggish today.
We didnt find any deposit records associated with your account, yet there is that withdrawal request.
How did you get the coins in the first place, was there any support involved? Your coins will be returned.

About BTC - we stated three things somewhere near page 146:

1) No withdrawals were disabled at any point. This means that any deposited coins turned into withdrawable coins.
Stopping withdrawals whatsoever would have created alot more problems.

2) There is no technical way to reject incoming coins. Its not safe to just automatically send them back to origin address.

3) Our goal is to process ALL withdrawal requests. We are negotiating getting BTC from other sources.

Another 350 withdrawal requests (in pending status) are waiting to get processed today. Attempting to credit all stuck deposits right now.

I thought Kenneth said he was closing down hosting end of the month, are you planning to maybe keep the exchange alive and kicking after all this is sorted?
Are you processing btc deposits/withdrawals that were made after exchange was stopped end Feb?
Kenneth did not warn us about stopping communications. He just disappeared Sad
Among other things, Kenneth was aware that no security was 100% guaranteed by running this code.
There were some additional delays, but things are moving and we are sure he is monitoring the situation aswell.
As the remaining coins are still on his server, a premature shutdown is not what he should do.

The site will be closing monday
Who said that?
and I have a bad feeling this was a ploy to keep the community satisfied until then.
Not true.

Processing more withdrawals now, more information coming soon.

This is great news, but for the life of me I can't understand why you guys didn't deal with the bitcoin situation first? It would of cleared up a lot of the complaints.
We have announced (on page ~146 or near it) that there may be multiple ways to get additional BTC from other sources - to fund stuck BTC withdrawals.
The negotiations for that are still ongoing. Meanwhile, we are going to process as many altcoin withdrawals as requested. This is not the end of the story.

People who throw accusations at us have zero proof. Its simple to come up with theories.
CoinMarket.io can provide any kind of proof of innocence that you guys want.
You should redirect your energy towards finding the real thieves - we can definitely help with that.

We have reasons to believe that the main person behind the exploits has registered his first account with this email: dima1236@mail.ru
There is some rather intresting data on him on google and he may be associated with 0daycoins.
He tried to blackmail us and claimed hacking 0daycoins and "several other exchanges" - but that may not be the case.
Another user who was definitely in on the scam used an username of summergaoteng and this email: 97046128@qq.com

Please ignore all BS that is posted by users not named exactly coinmarket.io.
People are creating accounts with similar names and posting BS - not sure why they think its funny.

Really guys? Are you falling for that twitter trick again? How many times already? Geez.

We really are giving people back there alt coins, we felt the alt coins were more important then the btc as people were using btc to purchase the alt coins with.

Bitcoins we won't be giving back and we will use it as payment for the hard work processing the alt coins.

This user is not representing coinmarket.io! Please remember that. Its complete bullshit.
The only user representing coinmarket.io on bitcointalk is named coinmarket.io.

Things are finally moving forward, please stay patient.
Over 400 stuck withdrawals got processed today - alot more coming.

We are amazed about the number of people who have not attempted to withdraw their coins.
Please cancel all orders and request a withdrawal - and let us handle everything else.

Can you take a look at my pm pls, been trying to sort my account since you implemented e mail confirmations
As you have imagined, we are very busy regarding all the technical difficulties that we're experiencing.
Things are finally starting to move thanks to some members of the crypto community who requested to stay anonymous.

We will look into everybodys issues personally - soon. No major amounts of altcoins were lost during the exploits in february.

Please stop baseless accusations against CoinMarket.io - we never scammed anyone.

And here are some good news - processed all KARM withdrawal requests (~120) that were stuck because the confirmation email never arrived after the SMTP server went offline.
There may be more stuck withdrawals due to forks and coindaemon errors on confirmation, but we are handling those ASAP.

Re: [ANN] [PENG] Penguincoin - MOST PROFITABLE COIN - EXCHANGES, MARKETCAP

Guys, are blocks being mined? What is the current latest wallet version and where is the source?
The one built from https://github.com/penguincoin/penguincoin does not seem to get new blocks from the network.

We are about to send ~50 PENG withdrawals that are in an unconfirmed state because the confirmation e-mail never arrived.

Edit: never mind, the blocks are just coming at a very slow rate. Processing withdrawals now.

We are testing the new code and are going to process stuck withdrawals tonight. We will post a list of processed withdrawals when it happens.
Before that, all stuck deposits will be credited. We are very sorry that this has taken too much time.

PS: we are trying to get IP address information from CloudFlare, regarding the users who exploited us.

Please let me know what you are going to do about my stuck REDD deposit!
All stuck deposits will be credited to the accounts, later today. Tomorrow at the latest.
Please dont deposit any additional coins. Clogging up wallets with too many small unspent inputs is causing problems with the official bitcoin/altcoin software.

i think it was that someone sellling karma for btc and thats why btc missing

other way you should turn off withdrawal so its your fault that u dont do it

and it seems that there is no more btc left right? :]
The exploit was stopped by halting trading, but the guys were already gone with their BTC.
There was no point in stopping any withdrawals from happening - it would have made the situation alot worse.

We are not saying that you lost your coins forever, we are looking for solutions.
More withdrawals will be manually or automatically pushed today and tomorrow - we are working hardcore on this.

C3ALL: looking into your issue, had no knowledge about these email-related problems - the email stuff was quite fixed and running well.

We should manage to get some BTC from other sources - does the community agree on splitting that using a percentage?

More updates & lists with processed withdrawals coming. We will also post all we know about the users who participated in the exploit.

First it was karma that was hacked and coins at Len. Now they say there is btc missing.  The bullshit just keeps on growing.
Maybe you're too mad to read the posts properly. What do you think was lost when the BTC/KARM market was exploited?
No other coins are lost! Please answer to our previous post.

Do you even want to be helped? Calm down dude!

Calm down?  I've sent PM's since February, posted here and on Twitter and they still ignore my requests.

As I've said, I'm giving them another 24 hours to get me my coins and then I'm asking Norwegian police to contact Kenneth.  If Kenneth is not the person behind coin market then he will perhaps tell the police who is behind it.

I've been patient for almost a month now, I've asked nicely several times and even now when they are posting they are still ignoring my requests.  That is theft. So I've been calm for long enough.  I'm involving the police tomorrow if I don't get my coins back. Everybody else seems happy to keep swallowing these bull crap posts and now they start paying out btc withdrawals that were made weeks after mine.

If they don't have enough btc they should give everyone a percentage back, not start processing withdrawals in full because that means those at the end of the queue will get zero, while these processed today will get all theirs back.  They can't even manage this fairly.

How much are you owed?
The list of 2500 different BTC withdrawals contains entries starting from February - when the trading was halted.
We cannot really stop people from depositing coins, any deposited coins turn into avalible funds for withdrawing - this is why some people are still withdrawing micro amounts of BTC. It is not us manually pushing those withdrawals. We will find solutions to recover the lost BTC, but this will take time.
You all agreed to the terms of service and saw all the warnings - on the front page and on the wallet page - so you really should relax and let us work on this.

To the other person: None of the exchanges work by holding your deposited coins at the original address. They are always in circulation.
The coindaemon automatically chooses what coins to use, from which addresses - when processing withdrawals. This is how the default/official bitcoin/altcoin software works.

coinmarket.io what about BTC deposit that were made after "hack" they shouldnt be missed right? i think u should give it back to ppl that make this deposit because of your information about resuming trading in 24h
The problem is that we never intentionally stopped any withdrawals from happening.
So, when a deposit was made, those coins turned avalible for withdrawing by other users.

We had a plan to resume trading and cover the losses from fees, but the plan failed because we didnt find the hole fast enough and we still dont have an idea how this happened.
We will post the source code of the exchange at a later point, so people can learn from it (and identify the problem).

We have some ideas how to get additional BTC and we will keep the community posted on basically everything - atleast 3 times per week until everything is solved.

We dont have manpower to manually handle and/or respond to your requests. This does not mean that we are ignoring anyone. Please stay patient, we have priorities.

Manual processing of issues will start when the automatic routines are completed and almost all altcoins withdrewn.

We only posted a small chunk of fixed altcoin/btc withdrawals, stay assured that there will be alot more coming!

Thanks for the update, about time.

What about the RDD confirmed withdrawls on the wrong fork? I have 2M "confirmed" in the withdrawal history log.
We will use the listtransactions call to find any withdrawals that still have 0 confirmations and refund these accounts. Same goes for DGB and KDC.

PENG, KARM and LEAF wallets (for example) are running normally right now and the balances are large enough.

Please stop any deposits towards coinmarket.io addresses - it only makes things worse. More updates coming.

Please stop any threats againt the hoster of the web servers - Kenneth Bjorke. He cannot help anyone.
Any threats against him can and will result in legal action. Please stay human and try to understand the situation.

Withdrawals dont require email confirmation anymore, the confirmation URL is displayed on the wallet page instead.
We may re-credit some accounts instead, so users can retry the withdrawals themselves - if we find that its a faster solution to your problems.

Please be assured that we are working on solving the situation. There will be more communication and transparancy reports from now on.

We will keep you posted on the progress, with lists of new processed withdrawals. Hopefully a very large list of automatically processed ones.
Coinmarket.io will be discontinued after everything is settled and the code will be made open-source so others can learn from it.

I understand that it might not be a priority right now, but you haven't addressed DGB withdrawals which happened after DigiByte fork. Are you planning to reset those coin balances after updating DGB wallet?
True. We will reset some DGB and KDC balances so people can retry their withdrawal themselves. We will post an update when it happens.
There is also a JSON-RPC specific problem with digibyte - a problem with their code.
It does not allow us to send any RPC calls to the coindaemon (from command line) while the exchange is connected to it. Not a big issue though.

Please stay assured that we will solve most of this mess - we are working hardcore on this.

Most of this mess will be solved by the end of this week, especially regarding altcoins.
Obviously there is some BTC missing due to the hacks, but we are looking for a solution.

We will post all information we have on the hackers later today - you should redirect your energy towards finding these people.
Atleast 3 different user accounts were participating in exploiting us. We will look for more and post their details.
