The bids already closed, but do you guys think this will have true or false outcome?

Ever since May 2011, the mining factor are constantly low, even with the price spike above $250, it never reached 2011 high, now again all the GPU miners are mining at a loss

Not all GPU miners are mining at a loss - it depends on what they pay for electricity.

Last time it happened was in January 2013 after block reward halving.
That event more or less coincided with the start of an exponential rise in price.

I'm not saying "buy buy buy" just noticing the event has happened.

Where is that image/data from?  Thanks.

Don't follow the logic.  Increase difficulty does not mean fewer coins mined.

all asics out > high diff > bitcoin over 300$+?

no. difficulty follows price, not the other way around.

... it is not just that simple, more nuanced than that ... as vladimir is saying, I think?

I think so.  One of the attack vectors against Bitcoin depends on network hash rate (i.e., difficulty), so one could argue that higher difficulty will make potential attacks against the network more costly.  Assuming that the price of Bitcoin factors in this very potential cost, higher difficulty will give room for higher price IMHO.

You can buy Amazon GC with your bitcoins at Gyft.com (or using Gyft app).  They offered competitive exchange rate last time I checked.

Live in the greater Seattle area and have some Euro leftover from your last vacation?  Did  your customer tip you in Euro and don't know what to do with it?
Now you can turn your useless* Euro into bitcoins! Smiley

PM if you would like to buy some bitcoins with Euro (will use MtGoxEUR).

Are you buying BTC once again?  Checking since your last PM indicated otherwise.  If so, I would be interested in selling a few BTCs.

Quit panicking, this is variance. We've seen blocks last much longer in the past. There is nothing wrong with the pool. Miners of old can tell you about blocks lasting 48 hours.

Pool hash rate was probably much lower then?  At any rate, I agree that it is what it is: variance.
