Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings?
by

No, I don't believe in ICO ratings. Almost all of them are bought by ICOs, which want a big rating for involving more people to their ICO.

Have anyone of you heard about menlo.one? They're an ICO review platform more like a marketplace for all of the ICO, do you think this kind of approach can also be corrupted?

@OP try researching about menlo.one their ICO marketplace platform is a nice concept. It will help new and old ICO investors prevent scams and fraud from fake tokens and coins by creating a community where valuable contributions are rewarded.

Re: Best way to buy bitcoin ?

It's is a good and helpful question I think. To buy bitcoin, you have to get involved in the bitcoin authorized exchange with proper formal process. And then have to make transactions from peer to peer. This is the easiest way to be bitcoin owner.

This one made me laugh.  Cheesy

LOL. I wish you know what you're talking. Does OP still need an exchange if he/she is going for a peer to peer transaction?

*@OP I suggest go to your friend or relatives who are cashing out their BTC, that way you can deal a 1:1 ratio, without the burden of paying the big transaction fees.

Thanks for the thought I have the same question too now I know so meaning the market price can really be manipulated by them?

In some instances they can manipulate how the market would go, I think they can create a scenario of pump and dumps, and this isn't just happening on top coins. The end result is that they're getting profit while others are losing.

Hey guys, I found this site https://www.paybear.io

I’ve heard alot of recent noise on twitter having to accept cryptos in a near future to satisfy client needs… Does anyone here already transacted cryptos on this site? I’ve heard a lot about paybear.io offering extremely cheap fees, is anyone already using them?

Don't know if some of the online shop are using this.

I know that a lot of people will bash him for this but these people are experienced with money and investments. Also, they have financial advisory.

No one is bashing him, dude. People just don't care about this kind of News, because it'll just create another series of FUD's.

Re: What is really needed for crypto?
by

What do you think is really important for crypto development? We saw many government regulations and understand that we are dependent on them.
We have two ways:
- get adequate regulations from government, or
- go underground with decentralized exchanges,  markets and internet.
I prefer second point.  What would you choose?

If the coins go underground it will remain decentralized, the problem with that is it would never be accepted to be widely used. The main target is to accept the use of cryptocurrency worldwide to be recognized legally.

Re: Countries that accept bitcoin payments
by

Some country have accepted the bitcoin as the payment for transaction everything by bitcoin be the payment, they have allow for the bitcoiner using bitcoin as the payment for their transaction like United State, Japan, Russian. but any country still not allowed for make transaction by using bitcoin as the payment because they wanna bitcoin will be change the the using of their money. by using bitcoin will be less people using money and the value of the money will be not increase.

There are lots of countries who accept bitcoin payments. According to Prableen Bajpaj in his article entitled 'Countries Where Bitcoin Is Legal & Illegal (DISH, OTSK)', bitcoin is anonymously used in transactions that can happen anytime and anywhere. They may used it to buy things, sell illegal goods like weapons and drugs and others. Here are the countries listed to be said that say 'okay' for bitcoin.

United States, Canada, Finland, and Australia.

In United States, they positively accept it yet several agencies in their country prevent the usage of bitcoin. In Canada, they used bitcoin for exchanges and service businesses. In Australia, they used it for mining, trading and buying bitcoin.

May I add something, Japan had very open for the Bitcoin and the Cryptocurrency. They have legalized the use of it, but the mass adoption is still slow.

Re: What can be the media to spread about crypto?
by

Well, the media doesnt participate into making it popular but we have the internet now.
It is spread all over the social media and other forums. Also with blogs and other websites that is being paid for advertisement.

I do think that is enough. Why? Look at the world now. It is like everyone now have a smartphone and are online all the time. The world is changing and the news now can also be seen in social medias with shares.

Actually Local media is already contributing to these popularity. We have been seeing news and advertising on TV about the Cryptocurrency.

As we all know that crypto world is increasing rapidly but still to reach each corner of the world about crypto what can be the media?
I think telling a friends and family about this is not enough.

Yeah, media is a big factor of the Bitcoins popularity, if not because of the media the Bitcoin wouldn't not reach its ATH. The thing with the media right now is that its being used to manufacture a lie and create FUDs to people manipulating how the market would go.

With the current trend and the price of BTC right now? I'd say it would take at least a month to recover and another month to be able to hit that mark. Assuming that there will be no correction during the uptrend.

I'm going to guess $6,000 will be the bottom. What's your guess?

$4,000 in about a month. Idk if that will be the bottom though, it depends on if bitcoin's transaction problems are solved. If they are, it could bounce back, but IMO it will take years before it breaks $10k again. I wouldn't be surprised if a superior alt coin eclipses it.

Can an altcoin eclipse it if people's trust in cryptos gets damaged by BTC crashing though? I hope it can hold a decent price anyway.

Yeah I think altcoin will make this downtrend end. It all now lies in the hand of alts to save the failing reputation of bitcoin. Some of the investors are now calling a quit.

I think its just for study purposes I guess. Mark Zukemberg has a lot of money he can create many coins as he wants. He can even but the whole litecoin in my opinion. LOL
Maybe... but... how long to create a new coin and logistic, wheather to low temperature..its not so easy.
And, if have a good negociation, why not.
He say that want to join this market... he can just use this tech.
I think its very probabily Litecoin could be his choice.

It won't take long enough knowing that he employs a lot of programmers, coders, marketers. Can even pay 1000+ cryptographers if he like to make the project much faster.

Re: KFC to accept Bitcoin!

wonder how people will pay a 15$ meal with bitcoin if the fee is 20$, that makes no sense at all. i think it's just some marketing gimmick, nothing more.
😂 it is impractical to pay extra 5$(in btc) just to have meal unless you are really very hungry. In times that I am hungry and only KFC is available, then I will not use btc , I will use fiat.

Yeah, I think its a marketing stunt of KFC hoping to get more customers. I think they should be changing the currency that they will accept or they will not get good amount of bitcoin users.

It is not practical you would be paying a price of a buffet even if you have only ordered a single fried chicken. They should change the currency they are using or else it will be useless.

KFC did not do its research well. Bitcoin is has very tx fees, and bitcoiners would not likely to use bitcoins for this small transactions. KFC should accept ETH or other altcoins instead.  Wink
