Got more info on that Lamborghini purchase?
Never heard of it, why would someone buy that in Bitcoins? Was it DPR who bought it? lol

Here's an article on it:

Doing a bit of research here...

Whats the largest BTC purchase to date?  BTC for a physical product.

There was the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo purchase in Long Beach for  216.8433 bitcoins or ~$209,995.

Anything larger than that? I'm interested in Fiat value of item at time of purchase.  So Pizza's for $2M don't qualify.  Smiley

Can I hook up my ASICMiner Cube to my laptop via ethernet and still mine with the connection being through Wi-Fi?  Been messing around with the settings and ports and have had no luck.  All the forums and set-up guides have it connected through a router.  Unfortunately, I cannot do this for the router is not in my place.  Thank you for the help!

Yeah you'll need some kind of bridge adapter unless your laptop has two wireless cards.

Why not look into Raspberry Pi w/ a wireless dongle and use the Pi as your miner controller with linux?  Probably easier/cheaper than managing bridged network connections.  You also don't need to have your laptop around all the time either.

What sort of mining programs and or hardware do you Mac users use when mining for Bitcoins? What works for you, and what does not? Any great stories you wish to share about mining on your Mac? Post them all here!

Asteroid is the easiest to use on mac IMO.  http://www.asteroidapp.com/

I use BFG and cgminer as my main miners on OSX.
