It seems as if you can still sell them for Rubles on YoBit. Not that anyone wants them.

And knowing that site you probably can't withdraw either ...  Roll Eyes

I strongly suggest that if you've been holding PascalCoin for a few years you get rid of them immediately.

I've just had my whole account vanish and the developers on Discord tell me this is expected behaviour for coins that haven't moved in four years.

Obviously the developer is a moron to include such a "feature", and even more of a moron to not remove it even after having that requested as long ago as 2018.

I don't like being ripped off, so fuck PascalCoin with a pineapple. Dump this shit.

The last transaction I have that makes sense - i.e. that both the wallet and the block explorer both agree on - was a block I mined on 10 April 2008.

Everything after that is rubbish.

I'm sure that address still has the coins, but I can't access them with the 6.0.0 wallet.

Is there a wallet repair function?  Maybe you need to rebuild your blockchain.

I just downloaded the whole blockchain again. Same balances, same problem. Been running this continuously since March 2016 so I didn't expect that would fix it.

I see our illustrious leader is nowhere to be found, as usual. Oh crap.

Can anyone tell me what's going on with this frikkin' wallet? I'm running the latest version 6.0.0 but the balances are crazy.

I'm told there is 19 000 167.17718325 available but can't HODL anything, I get a message saying no funds are available.

The block explorer tells me I have 40202509.50571935 HODL'd but the wallet tells me 1 083 296 171.96259309

Insane variations. Nutoshi, are you there man?

OK, the new download is up-to-date. However, it's still showing "Out of sync" in red. I think it needs to find one new block while online to completely sync, which seems to be a programming error. Especially since the last block was 3 hours ago ...

Thank you for additional information. All other users are able to sync without issues. Let's try and solve this:

1. Ensure there is enough free space on your disk for Aricoin to run. Our chain is around 800MB at the time of writing.

If that fails;
- Exit Aricoin client
- Go to data folder on windows: C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Aricoin
- Delete blk0001.dat, blkindex.dat, and /database folder. Do not delete your wallet.dat
- Restart v1.3 and resync with network. Add reliable v1.3 nodes from https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ari/#!network to aricoin.conf

addnode=54.165.192.44

Yep, already in progress. HDD has tons of space so it appears as if the database has become corrupted.

What does your debug.log say?
Any hints there?

Database errors.

yeah, visit tg chat please https://t.me/musicoinofficial
there's one method how to sync your desctop wallet

Yeah, that worked, I have 9 nodes. At least until I shut it down, then I get 0 nodes again.

The instructions also don't provide details on how to correctly close the javascript console.

Did the issue resolve itself? Live nodes are hard coded into v1.3

cryptoid will have the best live nodes, you can find them here:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ari/#!network

Nope. Last block was 1 Feb.

Just installed v0.1.3 but wallet doesn't sync with the network. Anyone got a list of currently working nodes?

I have 4 active connections but I'm stuck at 14 blocks to go.

Yah, looks like a screw-up. I suddenly have 4.3x the coins I previously held. Now that's what I call inflation.

When (and where) will the new client be available? The http://hodlcoin.com website doesn't seem to have been updated lately.

Code for Version 4 Hardfork now available for review.
https://github.com/HOdlcoin/HOdlcoin/tree/4.0

Fork takes place on block 68300, about 1 month from now.

Notable changes -

i) Increase mining reward 10 fold to encourage new miners.

ii) Temporary increase interest rates X75 - bringing standard rate up to 1% per day (2% per day for 1 year HOdlers) to encourage more Hodling, and discourage leaving large amounts of HODL on exchanges for sale.

iii) destroy 50% of transaction fees to help with inflation

Did you manage to find a way to lock out the coins on YoBit? They are on an older fork, can't be withdrawn and are therefore worthless.

BTW you would do well to pop into the HOdlcoin Slack channel occasionally, we miss you!

Do NOT trust this company. They do NOT honourably support customers when something goes wrong.

I have lost $15,000 in BW-L21 miners that would only run intermittently. No warranty was honoured, the Chinese manufacturer claims that their engineers had all left and we were left high and dry after only about 15 LTC had been mined. And this was after waiting months past the promised date for delivery, during which time the coin prices had dropped and tons more miners had come online, pushing profitability down.

Hyperbit, FUCK YOU. Seriously.

Back in 2016 when HOdlcoin was new, the dedicated early HOdler 'samsmith' dreamed of owning a Xeon Phi so he could mine faster. He bought a 7120 coprocessor card but I don't think he ever could get it working.

Tonight I managed to compile the miner on a Xeon Phi 7290 under Ubuntu 16.04.4 and achieved over 2,400H/s, which is faster than I used to get when I rented IBM's dual E5-2699v4 "bare metal" cloud servers at US$500/month.

So wherever you are sam, this one's for you.
