Really, Someone has to wonder whether there is price manipulation going on with IOC!!
because you can take a look at any of the competitor coins , not one is dumping so fu***in hard like IOC given major HUGE progress updates! analyzing the market, you can only conclude that this is an incredible paradoxical price development for IOC.

Who the hell sells even for 0.0001 btc??? so absurd, cant find any words to describe this. this is the lowest point ever and was almost 2years ago,  as if literally NO progress in the technology was made until now!

IOC is one of the sickest coin out there, so high quality standards but dumps the fu*k out of its believers!

Two facts are also highly disturbing and eventually contributing:
1) Every shitty coin is listed on hundreds exchanges, and IOC only at one! also another incomprehensible fact.
2) so many years in quite development, no marketing efforts, really high focus on getting things done: and after all this time->really lets face it: such a buggy bug-flooded hardfork transition to the new DIONS wallet...incredible. really, as a true fan of yours, i must criticize you hard on this flawed roll-out process with defects, bittrex wallet inactivations, syncing issues etc...  hope you maket it run smoothly ASAP!!

if someone shares the same opinion , or any explanations ideas why this is happening with iOC , come on lets hear your thoughts!!

@EIDOO:  Security questions:

1) this source https://www.cryptocompare.com/wallets/eidoo/   claims that your block validation technique is a Centralized  one!
true? why did you choose centralized if blockchain market is all about decentralization?!  plans to switch from centralized to decentralized model, when?   it does not make any sense why people would use centralized service, you realize how crazy this sounds in the blockchain space?  so change that or you never get much users on board!!

2) blockchain market is all about transparency, most credible and established wallet services are open source! why is yours not?! Any plans to change this ?

3) why isnt it possible to edit a) gwei and b) gas amount within your wallet concerning erc20/eth transactions? you realize that given the huge ICO space being able to edit those 2 parameters is at great demand? any plans to implement such a feature? when?

4)  where exactly are the private keys stored in the phone, and can the user back them up? How are they stored, encrypted (which encryption method)?  Are they additionally stored on another server, or solely on user's device?

Thank you in advance for your soon response to the community regarding abovementioned four concerns.

------------
Opinion? "…the only way to receive reasonable fees for Bitcoin and Ethereum will be to have your funds stored on a business website, willing to setup payment channels with others in the industry. We then have to conclude this will economically force people to keep more funds on 3rd party websites."
------

you agree or disagree on the article's statement that Raiden and Lightning are likely serving Business to Business platforms , and therefore individuals would have to rely on those platforms instead on own private wallets?  How legitimate is this scenario, can it be backed by some technical hard-arguments?

Thank you all

Hi @CENTRA,

you say in Twitter "Learn how our new blockchain will be launched and $CTR token swap will be handled!" what does this mean? Are people's current CTR erc20 tokens in total risk of loss if they do not "swap" them and keep them in MEW? Is there a deadline?

When would you publish a written guideline on how to "swap"?

And you highlighted many times that ICO contributors should not change their wallet balance/address or else they won't receive their cards...so how does this coexist with the "swap" statement-> or would you ignore the swap scenario for the card issuance matter?

thanks

@romanornr :

please consider following Coindesk article which shows an approach REGARDING LIGHTNING SCALING->as Lightning is an Item in your roadmap:  www.coindesk.com/lightning-scaling-bitcoin-might-require-whole-nother-layer

It's a highly interesting proposition ("...utilizes so-called "hook transactions" to move funds into a multi-party channel capable of supporting more than just two users...") without any relevant bottlenecks when implemented, as I understand.  Would you please work on this stuff later, if your team has the skills!? And the Schnorr signatures would also be awesome!  thx  for your great work so far!

-------------------------------------

1) HI there, can anyone please explain shortly how VIA's Styx/Anon privacy solution is comparing with other established ones like abovementioned -> regarding both

- a) achieving actual privacy/anonymity and

- b) making identification or tracing infeasible)?

2) Is there any flaw within Styx or any sophisticated way to analytically unmask real addresses behind transactions?

3) And any timeline when Styx will actually be implemented? For several months there is no progress in the official roadmap relating Styx.

4) And can Styx' solution be sort of "plugged into" and be used by other blockchains, providing for example also ethereum or bitcoin "privacy as a service"?

thx

I/O TEAM, URGENT:

What happened to your BITTREX Wallet? You said its safe to keep there and you worked with them for the Fork transition; now the wallet is inactive and status says "Wallet offline - Potential fork investigated" ?!?  Please give an update to the community about this issue asap, thank you!

Hi I/O team!
Can someone please help me to understand your new DIONS wallet restore function:

Is your wallet hierarchical deterministic, I mean: a ONETIME Backup of the private key is ALL one needs, in order to be able to restore his wallet at any given time?

OR: Is the private key NOT enough, and instead one must ensure REGULAR backups??

If the latter is the case: Why make it so complicated ? Its much more secure and comfortable to use onetime feature.  is it technically really so complex to provide a hierarchical deterministic solution (like many other current wallets coinomi, parity, electrum, etc. offer)?

Looking forward to your reply, thx!

the Old html5 wallet did not have the feature to export your private keys. The QT wallet did.
The new HTML5 wallet has the feature to export your private key (press ESC for command line).

So if you had QT and the private key from that you can import it to the new wallet. But not many did and thats why we focus on wallet.dat restore.

HI ,thx but I dont see answer to my question: i want to know, if you have to make REGULAR backups of your wallet.dat file (each time your balances change),  OR  if it is enough to save ONCE your wallet.dat  file and use it forever to restore your wallet (you dont have to make backups after each time your balances change)->this ONETIME backup will always show your CURRENT balances.

which of those 2 options is the case with the new DIONS wallet??

Thanks

HI there, can someone please help me to understand these things:

1) what is minimum technical requirements for your hardware to mine verium in a meaningful way? And is it possible to mine by Notebook or does it only make sense via full rigged computers?

2) can you please just one simple example of an average miner's rewards (which hardware is he using?) per Day , just to have some orientation.

3) from the information provided on this website: http://veriumstats.vericoin.info/

how can you from these details estimate your own rewards , what is the calculation scheme here? ..........

Thank you all for your replies!

this is the best coin to have in quarter 4. Clock is ticking though.

Literally, it is lol. Glad to have you here Brendon! Smiley

What do you mean by "clock is ticking"?

Can someone please clarify: what happens with the Bittrex IO coins during the shift/fork to DIONS? Are they going to be secure, or what is the suggested approach for handling his coins during the fork?

Thank you
