Another sad day for bitcoin. Sorry this happened mate, lots of scams going around and many target electrum and MEW due to their popularity. Best to invest in a hardware wallet, scammers do not return funds and there are no refunds in a decentralised economy

The problem with instant exchanges is that they don't have much variety. Good for bitcoin, eth, and ltc but for everything else we need exchanges. CZ said his new dex will support hardware wallets so looking forward to it
It was mt gox that started the chain of events, when that amount goes via exchanges rather than otc people will panic sell. They should have just dumped bitcoin cash as market prices only follow btc

It's a good Idea to track guns but then how about the ownership of those weapons as people will not want their personal data on the public ledger. A private blockchain would be useful as a database

There are no experts in bitcoin price predictions, unless they have nostradamus type abilities. Tommy lee is probably the worst at predicting but he is certainly an expert in crypto.

The government has a multi trillion dollar debt, they won't allow anything that can bypass taxes. They will push this through alongside another bill where all bitcoin trades can be taxed

If there are any bitcoin entreponeurs then perhaps they can create some bitcoin cuddly toys to attract a younger audience. They won't be traders but at least being exposed to the name will help when they grow up

The numbers aren't too far fetched, they are just off according to the dates, perhaps by a factor of one year. It probably wont hit $100000 this year, bit next year it is definitely possible, especially after the halving

What if designer handbags were 80% off? Your gf would...
Trust me your gf would raid your wallet, bleed your bank account, and fill her wardrobe with LV, Chanel, etc
Bitcoin and alts are 80% off right now, why aren't you doing the same?!

Banks are bad because they used your money in risky investors and needed tax money to bail them out. It can't happen with bitcoin, it is decentralised, this prevents economic crashes that causes job losses

They can call us nerds now, but in a few years they will call us lucky for getting in early. This is assuming that you are buying and hodling now like sensible bitcoiners

by

The price is going down because bitcoin cash split and diluted the community. Looking at the charts we are hovering around the bottom so it's still time to accumulate before the bull run begins

No-one is worried about the price of bitcoin, only the people that don't have enough cash right now to buy more as it is accumulation time. It will certainly pump within the next few months, possibly even weeks

There will always be criminals in anything to do with financial gain. Even charity boxes in stores get stolen in front of CCTV cameras. Decentralisation is the dream, and despite what these scammers do we will decentralise the economies for the good of the people

100 billion is not a small market, it is certainly one that should not be taken lightly. Just because it fell from almost 1 trillion doesn't mean it is over, many markets would kill to get close to 1 billion let alone 100 billion dollars

Bitcoin was very stable at a price of around $6500,until the bitcoin cash fork destroyed the crypto economy. It will never be a stable currency though and should not be recognised as such, that is what tether is for

Bitcoin will first conquer the smaller economies like in south america and africa. After it is more widely accepted then bigger economies would be more accepting to bitcoins. USD will always be around, despite their trillions of dollars of debt

These exchanges should know that there have been many hacks in the past and that cold storage is a must. Minor hacks on hot wallets can be somewhat tolerated, but not multi million dollar losses

Segwit v2 has already lowered the transaction fees which were getting ridiculously high. It is more about the transaction times that will drive adoption, this is where lightning network comes into play

Bakkt is certainly coming but sadly there is still nothing confirmed yet. Just get your money ready for action, as soon as they make an announcement you need to be ready before the manipulators do their pump and dump thing
