Yes Bitcoin has so many risks and only one benefit and that is to earn more money by investing or joining bounties or airdrop campaigns. But there is the saying higher the risk higher the profit so still so many people invest in crypto even the risk is high.
One benefit only? You know that Bitcoin have the blokchain technology and many of industry or companies is as inspired to adoption it. and bitcoin is the main of crypto in the world and Bitcoin is a type of payment in Japan and other. So, Bitcoin is not one benefit.

I think MyEther Wallet is the best wallet for bitcoin. It is so easy to use and transfer. That is my opinion because I use MyEther wallet and i comfort this wallet.
Myetherewallet is not bitcoin wallet, myetherwallet is ethereum wallet and ERC-20 tokens based on ethereum platform For bitcoin wallet is blockchain.info (online wallet) blockchain.info is good enough.

If you want a safe Bitcoin wallet storage. Do not go for a web wallet, dont even go to a exchange site to put your longterm and life investment. Instead, download a Bitcoin core software or Buy a trezor or Nano ledger to save your investments. Make sure you hold the private keys to keep it safe.
Exchange site is not the provider wallet for bitcoin, Exchange is just a marketplace for trading. Not recommended to store of bitcoin there for the longterm. the online wallet is good enough like blockchain.info, but better to use the hardware wallet.
