Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community. 

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

It is unpredictable because the market is volatile and mostly because of human error. Nobody can be perfect or predict everything exactly bt a good strategy, funds and knowledge about trading in general and TA could improve the way you trade. also practicing it can improve your skills. First on a paper with fictional numbers, than with a small amount of money and than when you feel comfortable you can start trading bigger amounts.

Bitmain has just announced the Antminer X3 Cryptonight ASIC miner and it is much more powerful than what Baikal Miner is offering. The Bitmain Antminer X3 promises 220 KH/s hashrate for Cryptonight at 550 Watts of power usage, so 11 times more powerful than the Giant-N at roughly 2 times higher price and shipping the second part of May. By the time these devices start shipping Monero (XMR) will most likely not be mineable anymore with Cryptonight ASIC miners along with some other coins that have announced plans to fork in order to remain ASIC resistant, so all the extra hashpower will need to go somewhere else.

At a price of $11999 USD per device and limited to just 1 unit per order Bitmain is accepting only BCH and USD payments for the miners. The second batch of Antminer X3 is planned to start shipping a month later, so in the second part of June with a significantly lower price of $7599 USD, though who knows how many Cryptonight coins might fork to ASIC resistant implementation by then.

Just to be on the safe side be careful with the Cryptonight ASICs from Baikal and from Bitmain in order not to end up with a piece of useless hardware that can hardly mine anything profitable, even with its very high performance.

So what is your opinion guys on this miner? It will be like D3? There aren't so many cryptonight coins, but some people say that the miners would be patched for the forks, it still seems like a risky investment.

Ha ha yeah. Forget about the moon, we can just go to mars right? Yeah he might not be involved in any project yet but its good that he started to get interested and also that this way he might have promoted the book to new people. Would be nice though to have him in the crypto community!

Didn't knew about that. That would be a really interesting project and the reason why I started this post. I also found out that the book was given to him by a colleague of Julian Hosp who is a CO-Founder of TenX. I think he has more projects that involve crypto but it just requires a bit more research. Anyway thank you for the tip!

I know his comments always stated that he has no position in crypto. .But maybe he meant that he is not trading or holding anything but I think he has an interest in blockchain technology. I mean i am pretty sure that the Tesla cars could use it for tracking the vehicles and their usage and who knows what other usages there might be. I just thought that it might be an interesting discution.

The book title is "Cryptocurrencies simply explained - by Julian Hosp " and it mostly contains the basics.
What do you guys think he can use crypto for? Or is this just a move to promote crypto to a larger public?

With all this FUD and whales the price can be easily manipulated so it is possible to go anywhere. I think all this rumors are not confirmed and also even if a drop will come they will recover back because this technology is here to stay.

I think they did it for marketing purposes but also to test and see how this would work out. Also I think they realized the long term potential of crypto.. I don't think this will have such a big impact on the markets.. But maybe this way more people will find out and also maybe because KFC is accepting it people will start seeing crypto more safe.

I think most of savings should go to gold since it is much safer than bitcoin. with a small percentage you can invest in bitcoin and start trading or whatever you want to pursue in crypto.. Since crypto is still a risky investment you shouldn't put too much of your total worth in it.. Diversify

I'm pretty sure it is possible here and while it has some advantages I would think about all the information that this chips provide to whom and how they use this data. I think there should be a possibility for people who really want this but I hope we won't end up in a world where everybody needs to have this.

You could offer bounties for translating your thread in different languages, have a twitter, facebook, signature and telegram campaigns. Also creating a forum for the community of the coin could also bring many interested people.

The plan of joining the game so that they can have even more control has started.. Decentralization will be even harder to reach day by day. Now investing in this exchange seems to me the same as using a traditional bank because in the end the profits go to the same crowd

Gambling with your house it's nor really the best thing you can do.. You should try other ways of stacking btc.. try learning how to trade maybe or start a business..

It depends when you entered. You should hold a big part of it and try trading some altcoins with your a small part of your btc while you hold. Anyway, nobody can say for sure that it will go back up, but this year seems to be a good one for crypto so you might aswell hold and see for yourself.. Doing your own research is never bad
