Depends on the alt coin, but you shouldn't hold altcoins permanently think of them as a way to increase your BTC stack and don't grow emotional to them.

Just all in REQ it's below ICO price backed by ING bank/Ycombinator and they're dropping their website Q4 2017 it's a free moon mission and 3k isn't that much to all in anyways for easy returns.

Definitely wait a few weeks Bitcoin is projected to crash within these coming weeks no point in buying at the peak.

WTC/NEO/ETH/REQ/LINK/ETP/COSS

Invest in coins like COSS/KCS or REQ COSS/KCS are bound to go up as time goes on and their exchange's volume goes up. REQ is just extremely promising with ING/YC backing them.

If you're looking to make quick profit just put 75% of your stuff in BTC and use 25% on altcoins that are new and have low market caps. DYOR and find coins that are hyped then sell before it becomes too late

I think Redpulse definitely has the most potential but I wouldn't instantly buy when it goes on KCS this week and wait out a few hours cause it might end up dumping like how REQ dumped.

A long term coin if you're patient like REQ/LINK/COSS is fine or just keep it in BTC

I think ethereum will go up as btc goes up, not as fast i expect an honest price of around 400-500$ by the end of 2017 though

Normally wait a week or two to see how the price is going. Likw I joined the iNXT bounty and it 3x'd in a week so that was a nice payout 

I think most people would be happy if ETH could even hit 500 this year, I don't think it has a high chance of hitting 1000$ until Q3 2018

Yeah, that's why I don't get why people only care if the $ value of a alt coin increases instead of the satoshi amount. Even if the satoshi amount drops the $ value of an alt coin could still technically be equal or higher since the value of bitcoin raised.

REQ is probably the best long term investment coin you can get right now. Only has a 35million market cap/backed by YCombinator and ING bank youll make minimum 10x out of it if you wait a few months

Can you rephrase your question? It sounds like you're asking how to find a project that can be successful when it's announced? If you are you can try looking at the team behind the project, and their vision/if there's a space for their product.

It should moon, but it'll take some time. They put in too much time fixing the DAO system so they didn't have enough time to add in new coins recently.

Everyones just focusing on the price of BTC right now, give it a few weeks money will go back into alts

REQ if you don't count coins like NEO/ETH. At a 36mil market cap currently while being backed by YCombinator and ING bank it's a no brainer and has a high chance of succeeding

Buy alt coins is the best way to accumulate more btc in my opinion
