Anyone have any idea what is contributing to the almost relentless decline of bitcoin at the minute? I thought it had got over the collapse of Mt Gox & rumours of a ban in China.
It heard the same thing months ago

If anyone got any funds hold by John I don't think that you should except them to come back. He probably is in an island, drinking some cocktails with it right now

Bitcoin will always be volatile because, as Birdy pointed, the market is too small.
But it is a problem. Who will use it as a real currency? No one. If you can get 1 btc for your house in August, and only buy a chair with this single btc in September
