Monero silent mining (Windows) Help!!!

If am kind of a noob in mining. I would like to know if it is possible to solo mine Monero in silent mode. i have over 10 cpu with good i5 processor and 4 gb ram. I tried minergate but not interested in a pool and also i want it insilent mode.  I am running a windows 7 sp1. would be glad if anyone could help. Thanks in advance.

i recently got lifetime vps with 8gb ram and 8 cpu cores. is there any altcoins to mine that will be profitable and would there be any problem mining on vps. Thanks in advance. I am newbie here, sorry if i happened to post in wrong section or something.  Smiley
