Re: Do you agree that Bitcoin is nearly to be just like another business?

More than 50,000 U.S. merchants already accept bitcoin, and you may soon fall behind your competitors if you don’t have a plan for dealing with cryptocurrencies.
Over the short term, it means getting educated about the technology and adapting some business processes. Over the long term, it offers increased simplicity, greater efficiency and lower costs.
Bitcoin is not just an ordinary business but a hybrid investment/business and at the same time a currency of the future. It is also the kickstart of blockchain technology that will revolutionize almost all industry.

Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC
by
commanderbitcoin
on 31/05/2018, 13:13:51 UTC
I just was brought up to speed on groups of people sending in fake/Photoshopped ID's by scanning public records to defeat the KYC process and it seemingly is very easy to do.  It appears that many people sent in fake documentation to the Bob's and Polymath KYC and had no hassles.  How do these companies verify people if all they have to go on is public information?  Did they even really check the ID's or were they simply collected the data?  How rampant do you think this is?  How many of us are complete fools for turning in our documents when others simply faked it.  Now they have our data and the people who faked it are still secure.

NOT FAIR.

They don't really care because this KYC is just a formality to comply with the regulation. No wonder why selling personal information in darkweb is so rampant. I just hope those who pass their information will not turn into a wrong hand.

Which altcoins have potential to grow like Bitcoin?
Ethereum is the next potential coin that will grow like Bitcoin. It is already been proven and tested and it is also trusted by community. It is also known as the king of Smart Contract and next to Bitcoin.

Re: Is there still future for digital currency?
by
commanderbitcoin
on 30/05/2018, 06:28:15 UTC
As of now the price of each coin is very unstable, and the price of it just keeps going down. Ive seen a coin last year, that the price of each coin goes rapidly high. Its opposite as of now, almost below expected. Is this the end for the digital currency?
Not it is not the end of cryptocurrency, it just so happened that you buy on high where FOMO are in every news. That is why you feel like it is the end of cryptocurrency. The best thing you can do is to uninstall your blockfolio and get busy on profitable activities and install blockfolio on December.

Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding
by
commanderbitcoin
on 29/05/2018, 23:59:05 UTC
I know how people feel, those who invested in December or January like me, who fell love with crypto, and the way price was going up, never believed I have to see market cap under $250 billion. However, Everyday I check my Black folio app, I feel sick in my stomach. Sometimes I feel what I have done? But i knew there was a risk, i knew, I could lose money, but I couldn't control my rush of blood, seeing people buying right and left whatever they could.

But my question to all those investors, do you believe in crypto? If you do then hold tight because good days will come, if you are not in need an emergency cash, then hold your coin, It can't be red all days, it will be green. have some faith in this industry. I know it's hard seeing the bloodbath, what's happening, but we will rise again.

Even though I lost 70% of my portfolio, I'm still holding because I know good days are coming soon. Good luck guys.

Well, my current holdings are.

1. NEO
2. LISK
3. XLM
4. MCO
5. BAT
6. POWR
7. WABI
8. START
9. WTC
10. RPX
If you wait for another year you can recover your loses. You caught on FOMO that is why it takes time for you to to recover. But it is a good lesson for you because the next time you invest you you will surely wiser than the first time you invest in cryptocurrency.

Will Altcoins survive as bitcoin is going higher and higher and the demand is getting increasing every day, what will happens to altcoins
Altcoin with real development will survive but shitcoins will die because many altcoin investors will diversify their investment to Bitcoin to take opportunity of getting higher profit while others will cutloss to avoid further damage because of the increase in value of bitcoin.

Re: Ethereum will reach $ 15000 in this year.
by

I think Ethereum will be worth $15000 or more in this year.
What you guys think ?
I am very positive for Ethereum to rise but $15,000 seems so high at that rate. If you notice, the ratio of Bitcoin vs. Ethereum is 1:10 which means Bitcoin needs to reach $150,000 by this year in order for Ethereum to reach $15,000 price.I think the realistic price would be around $3000-$5000 price value.

It depends on the law and regulations that you have in your local. Every country has its own regulations regarding cryptocurrency. Many countries doesn't have a clear regulation yet.

Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project?
by
commanderbitcoin
on 26/05/2018, 17:51:52 UTC
Hello all,

I came across this article that talks about the importance of a community backing a project, how important do you think it is? Do you think they can get by through large marketing budgets instead? and do you agree with the article?

https://medium.com/crowdholding-innovation-platform/why-do-you-need-to-build-a-loyal-community-for-crypto-projects-14b9207608c2

I agree because community is one of the most important key for cryptocurrency to success. The community can raise you or even destroy you if the community feels that you are not sincere with what you say or do.

Started reading about this.. Is this a bad thing for eth?
It is a good news for everyone because implementing Casper will make the value rise and more stable because there will be more people who buy Ethereum to stake them in order to get a profit.

I am the invester of the Stratis, it is my first altcoin i have but it lost value everyday. I believe that project, i am still hold my Strats
I believe you bought it last year during the FOMO begun. Stratis is a potential altcoin but it needs time to reach its potential value. I consider Stratis as one of the undervalued altcoin today.

Re: Bitcoin VS Trading forex ?
by
commanderbitcoin
on 23/05/2018, 08:28:47 UTC
Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is still better than Forex because in Bitcoin trading, all you have to do is to wait for the right time to sell it in a very high price and the percentage profit is huge compared to Forex that you can only get a small percentage and you need a big fund to feel the profit.

Re: Basic Bitcoins Strategies during downtrend?
by
commanderbitcoin
on 22/05/2018, 13:54:09 UTC
Nothing new with my strategy when there is a downtrend. I sell all my altcoins and convert it to bitcoin because I believe that if there is a survivor in cryptocurreny, it will always be Bitcoin. I buy back my favorite altcoins when it is already uptrend, that way I survive during red market.

Re: ETH is the next generation of BTC?
by
commanderbitcoin
on 22/05/2018, 04:54:21 UTC
Right now, price of ETH is low, is there again rise in the ETH ?  I can see eth going above bitcoin because of combination between drop in the price of bitcoin and increase in the price of eth.
Yes there will always be a rise of value for Ethereum because it has an existing demand and it will continue because the demand is still growing and strong. Right now and the price of Ethereum is growing organically and it will rise slowly but surely.

Re: Altcoin is for day trading
by
commanderbitcoin
on 21/05/2018, 07:11:10 UTC
I see that people support that altcoin suits better for day trading, and not for holding. I just don't get why.
Not all altcoin are only good for day trade. There are some altcoins that is good for holding. If you can see the past chart of known altcoins, you can see that the holders of those coins profit a lot compared to day traders. Because day traders usually get caught when the coin suddenly pump up and never comeback from its previous price.

Re: Ethereum is officially dead
by
commanderbitcoin

We have seen ETH going up and down so many time. Now do you think ETH is officially dead, why do you think so?
Dead is only for shitcoins that has no development. If Doge is still alive, then I don't see any reason why would Ethereum be dead. The fact that it is second to bitcoin in coinmarketcap there is no reason to panic. Ethereum will only die for those who are lazy enough to do his own research.

Price of Btc is keep going down.
which one do u choose?
BTC or ETH for ICO?

Ethereum will grow together with bitcoin but will never overtake bitcoin. Remember that they have different purpose and features. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and therefore it is not that easy to overthrown the king of crypto.

Re: How do you keep your crypto informations securely?
by
commanderbitcoin
on 17/05/2018, 11:53:09 UTC
Hi. We all have too many passwords, private keys, adresses, registration informations. I want to askt how you keep them. I dont ask you to explain where you put your ledger wallet  Grin  For example, I keep my passwords and private keys on a simple document which I created on my laptop. This means that if I lose my computer or someone stoles it, I may lose too many things. What are your solutions? Is there any safe option? I have to get precautions before it is too late.
I highly suggest that you keep it on a organizer. Write it in a paper if you want to make sure that your private key is safe but make sure that you have to keep it safe or else you will lost everything you have. Buying a portable harddrive with encryption/password is also a good choice or buy a USB drive that has an encryption installed.

Re: encourage others to crypto

Will you encourage others to invest in crypto and explain to them that this is not a scam or a pyramiding activity?
I will not encourage nor convince other people to invest in cryptocurrency because some people tends to  play a victim and sometimes they blame you for their loss. I will only entertain those people who are interested and if they will approach me, that is the time I will explain it to them.

Re: Long-term investment.
by

on 16/05/2018, 14:53:07 UTC
How do you feel about long-term investment? Do you see the priorities in this? What do you think is the reason for this? Where to invest in your opinion?
Long term investment is a good option not only for those who have a current work or business. It is also a good strategy so you don't have to worry about the volatility of the coin that you choose. I suggest Bitcoin and Ethereum for long term invest because it is a lower risk investment than other altcoin in the market.
