Sounds like you need to do some more research and learning, however, there are services that create coins for you. Here's an article about one of them:

https://techcrunch.com/2017/10/13/build-your-own-token-sale-with-coinlaunchs-coincreator/

That's just one of many available.

Good luck

Re: Which Cryptocurrency is best To mine on Laptop
by

on 28/02/2018, 22:06:33 UTC
i will consider mining electroneum. what is the current price and how can i check it ? how much time it will take to mine 100 coins?

You can check the price at various sites but this is probably the most popular: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/electroneum/

Can't tell you how long it will take to mine 100 coins - depends on how fast your laptops are and whether you can keep them running all of the time. Good luck...update us on your progress!

I suggest you try mining Electroneum (https://electroneum.com/). They have a miner available for download that works on a regular PC: https://downloads.electroneum.com/

...I sent Freebitcoin.in a message on their portal and I am hopeful they respond to make this right.

If Freebitcoin.in reads this.  Please fix this and do something for your reputation because this is definitely not right.

If you're going to accuse something of being a scam, at least get the URL right! Freebitcoin.in isn't even a valid address!

Re: Is mining cryptocurrency profitable forever? How mining fees are calculated?
by
component9
on 21/02/2018, 16:25:38 UTC
Bitcoin mining is not profitable forever because the difficulty keeps on increasing over time. The difficulty ensures only one block is found every 10 minutes; the difficulty gets adjusted every 2016 blocks, or every 2 weeks.

You can try this mining profitability calculator which includes the current difficulty: https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculator

You can view a historical difficulty chart here (the difficulty is the red line): https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty - that page also lists the prediction for the next difficulty (at the top "Estimated Next Difficulty").

The amount of computing resources (hashrate) you need increases as the difficulty increases, so you need to invest in new hardware with a higher hashrate.

Try to change your IP address...unplug your router/modem for about 1-2 minutes and then start it again. You should have a new IP address after you start your modem/router and hopefully the hacker won't be able to find you again so quickly. Before he does find you, change your password again.

You could try https://bisq.network/ - a decentralized exchange that accepts various forms of payment and seems to require little in the way of identification.

Re: What is the purpose of a coin?
by

Altcoins exist for many reasons – you can research why each exists by reading its white paper (a document that describes the coin and why it exists, plus what their plans are for the future).

If you check out https://coinmarketcap.com/ you’ll see the market capitalization of hundreds of coins, so there’s obviously some interest in them.

>> I'd say it's equatable to a stock,
You’re right in that some people treat them as stock, hoping the value will rise over time.

>> Is it just a waiting game in hopes that a few eventually become widely accepted as currency?
Basically yes but it also depends on the cryptocurrency. For example, Ripple is not only a cryptocurrency but also a platform for inter-bank transfers so people are betting on the banks accepting Ripple for transfers.

You can find out more about each coin by clicking its name on https://coinmarketcap.com/ and then clicking through to the website or announcement thread for background information.

Re: Bitcoin & Litecoin: ASIC or PC rig, including longevity of hardware and value
by
component9

I would not be able to break even with an S9 within the first year. According to that, even after 360 days, I would still be $1999 in the red.

The calculator assumes an increase of 5% in the difficulty every 14 days, so that's not necessarily reflective of what could actually happen. The difficulty gets adjusted based on the network's total hash rate, so if miners pull out (stop mining for some reason) then the difficulty increase won't be as big as it might have otherwise been. Here's a chart of historical difficulty - you can see there were some dips: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-difficulty.html

The calculator also doesn't consider changes in the exchange rate - if the price of bitcoin goes up again this year that'll make your miner more profitable.

As for the ASICs... does this need to be attached to a PC at all times, or do you configure the application, and then leave it running?

Depends on the miner - for the AntMiner S9, you just configure it and it'll run on its own

Re: Bitcoin & Litecoin: ASIC or PC rig, including longevity of hardware and value
by

You cannot mine bitcoin with a regular PC - the only profitable option now is to use an ASIC like the Antminer S9. You need the raw hash rate that an ASIC provides.

>> Are GPU rigs capable of bitcoin mining or not?

So, no, GPUs are not capable of mining bitcoin. You can use them for mining altcoins.

>> But what is the resale value of an ASIC?

The value of an ASIC goes down as the bitcoin mining difficulty goes up and eventually, the ASIC miner becomes worthless. Chances are that you'll use your miner until it becomes worthless. Check this mining profitability calculator https://jblevins.org/btcmpc/ - it takes into consideration the change in difficulty over time so you can see how your profitability declines as the difficulty increases.
