Just under 56.75 BTC still available.

Looks like Pale Phoenix has first dibs on whatever is left after the 16th.  But 56.75 are still available till then.

computerguy, I'm going to be in Albany for Father's Day (16th) and a couple days after. If you haven't sold by then, I'll take all 60 at 4% under Mt. Gox.

Edit: Be happy to meet you with cash.

currently i have a few small deals pending.  I have a offer for the whole 60 but i have to travel to NYC and I hate going into the city if I can avoid it.

So i may just wait for now on traveling to NYC.  Keep in touch we can probably do business since you will be in Albany.

we will see what happens in the next few days.

thanks

Looking to sell approx 60 BTC NOW only selling 1 BTC for MTGOX last. CASH ONLY person to person or nothing.

Everyone is scared to death of 60 bitcoins so I am only selling 1 now.  The other 59 will just have to wait. You pick the public place I need public wifi to do the transaction.

If you are scared to come to a public place of your choosing to make a 1 BTC exchange then frankly you are not for real.
can we put the ax murder assumptions to rest now, please.

Thanks.

Any discounts if I buy multiple? I mean, I'm not looking to buy 60 -- but I'll buy more than 1. I'm closer to Saratoga, but I can surely meet you somewhere.

JD

discount off MtGOX last sure since you are the first to respond why not.

I can hop onto the northway and meet up with you near Saratoga easy enough.

PM me with a place you feel comfortable meeting up and how many BTC you need.  I am sure we can work out a price.

Plus define your meaning of a "public place"
Because robberies can also be in silence with handgun to your side!

Pyrex obviously has been watching too many movies where people do ransom exchanges in malls and huge gun fight breaks out. I guess he hasn't learn that is a movie and this is real life LOL Keep doing your thing.

thanks qweedo I was starting to get a bit defensive.  I don't sound that scary do I?

LMAO you watch too many movies. Public place, a mall, a big store, a coffee shop. I doubt any person would be dumb enough to do that in a public crowd place. I guess the only place you are safe is in your room, locked away on a computer forever.
There is a reason why you are very ignored, I figured it out.
Better safe than sorry, esp. a member with only 10 posts & account created 10 days ago.

If anyone successfully buys 60 BTC from OP, you have my fullest sincere apologies to OP & gweedo.

what is your problem Pyrex?  I lowered it to 1 so you would not cry and you are still working up some master plan.  really?

so I guess you would be part of the "not for real" part of my new OP

so anyone else want to buy a 1 BTC?

You don't even know how to show your bitcoin balance?

Where did you obtain the coins & now this REALLY sounds like a real life robbery..

BEWARE!

I am sorry where did i say i do not know how to show my balance i must of missed that .  my question is why would i do that?

The whole reason to do a person to person transfer is to be anonymous did i miss something. Why would i give any info out to anyone else then the person i am doing business with.  Especially when i am stating where i live.

Show us proof

Caution is always a great idea good thinking.

I just created the account since i have to say exactly what town I live in and i like my privacy.

If the 60 scares you then ok the listing is now I have 1 bitcoin i want to sell to 60 people ok? or 600 or 6000 you choose.

Since you bring the cash you pick the public place I just need public wifi to do the exchange.

How many cards can my board support? The whole pci x1 to pic x16 riser deal confuses me tbh

ok to get you excited the max supported would be 7.  that being said 7 will not happen. (most likely driver issues will result with AMD driver crashes)

you have 3 1x pci express which are perfect for bitcoin mining which does not require more then 1x.
to make those 1 x work you need a x1 to x16 adapter . try this link http://cablesaurus.com/PCIe-x1--%3E-x16-Adapter-Extender-Cable-w-Molex-Connector.  i KNOW these work since i have several of them.

so with the 2 pci express 16 x or (4x) and 3 1 x with adapter you can have 5 .

to make it to 6 or 7 (good luck with 7) you need a pci to pci express (1x) adapter and that will allow you to use a pci express card in a pci slot with riser. (cablesaurus used to have them i bought them from him before but evidently he does not currently.

so i recommend ordering the 3 1x to 16x adapter and use the 2 normal 16 x pci express slots that gives you 5 available and that is plenty.

your power supply will not run that much anyhow so you can slowly keep adding cards if you have the adapters on hand.

you do not have to order from cablsaurus  but i KNOW that all of his stuff is tested to work. (the reason why i bought it all form him)

i know i have a whole box of pci express riser cables leftover for multiple motherboards i have worked with, it can be very confusing as to what cable you need.

good luck

Well, I have 38 BTC in the brainwallet and my family does know the password. I made sure of that. Thanks though. Smiley

well as  long as someone knows it .

As for the 4.4999 spend it on whatever makes you and your family happy.

do some soul searching till you know what "that " is and then do a search for someone willing to trade bitcoin for "that"

I have 4.4999BTC left locally the rest are on a brain wallet. What should I do with them?

 Grin

buy a laptop (cheap off craigslist)

setup armory https://bitcoinarmory.com/  offline version of course

create a paper wallet backup

go and see your lawyer and setup a security box that is to be opened only upon your death.  make sure it is all in the will and properly setup.

put it all in the box along with whatever disposable bitcoins you have so your family or loved ones are taken care of when and if you die.  make sure you include instructions on what to do with BTC

don't like this idea OK but ask yourself .... am i OK with my family loosing all my bitcoins i have in a brainwallet.  are they counting on that money?

there are  good posts about how to do this properly if you do a search

Re: What gpu's?

So the max money I'm able to spent are ~500-700 Euros (for a gpu).
What should i bee looking into when I'm also interested in mining?
7970 is the top gpu miner, and a very good card for gaming too. You can buy two with that budget which should be 1ghash+.

If you have the money thats a great card.  Don't forget a great power supply and you might want to open up your case to help with the heat.

Mining gets these cards hot.

so good power supply (especially if you are running more then one card)

and alot of fans ... double the amount you think you need.  Its summer in the USA if that is where you are then you cannot run enough fans .

think small airplane engine.

you can always remove some in the winter if you are still mining by then.
