We recently made the switch from Oraclize to Chainlink because of the decentralised aspect of Chainlink. The way we use Chainlink is pretty simple; our smart contracts track packages by using multi-carrier shipping API’s like Easypost and Postmen to view the delivery status of a package. We connect to, and pull data from, these API’s using Chainlink.

Before we made the switch from Oraclize to Chainlink we relied on one single API to serve us the correct data, which simply wasn’t secure enough when dealing with people’s money. Chainlink allowed us to stay decentralised and improve the security of our platform by allowing us to pull data from several API’s.

We took a break a few weeks ago and locked the thread. But don't worry; we weren't relaxing on the beach while gone. We worked hard on the development of the platform and we partnered with a law firm to escrow the ICO funds. We also switched to Chainlink as our oracle provider.

What if the product sent by the seller is faulty or the wrong product?

In the worst case scenario the buyer can put the transaction on hold. This means that the money is stuck in
the smart contract. The buyer only has the option to release the money to the seller, and the seller only has the
option to refund the buyer. The buyer and seller will have to resolve their issue and come to a conclusion using
our secure messaging system.

If the buyer and seller don't reach a conclusion the money will stay in the smart contract. Therefore, it's not beneficial to either of them to do such a thing. Scamming when using Confido would have negative results for both the seller and buyer.


As for our branding and design, what didn't you like about it, if I may ask? Always good to improve.

Hi, another good question.

At this time the ICO space is completely fucked, excuse my language. Companies are valuing themselves way too high. Most of the ICOs do not even have a product, yet they are asking for millons of dollars. We think this is ridiculous. We do not have a fully working product with existing users yet, therefore we want to raise the bare minimum needed to develop and market our platform.

Another reason for our low hard cap is that we want to start with a low market cap to ensure greater growth potential for our investors. We really appreciate our initial investors, because they were the first to put their money and trust in us. Therefore, we want to maximise returns for them.
Companies starting with a valuation of f.e. $40 million won't have as much growth potential as companies starting with a valuation of say, $1 million. It's much easier for a one million dollar company to double in value than it is for a 40 million dollar company.

Our initial valuation will be $600,000 if we reach the hard cap.
