This looks like a really great coin to start investing into it. The only thing is only being actively traded on a single exchange which is Bittrex, but as long as it keeps alive on that market, then it should be no issue.
I'm always on the lookout for hybrid PoW/PoS coins so I will give TeslaCoin a shot. Still, I wonder if the dev is still active or the community has taken over?
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to support this coin for the long term.

Well if we aren't allowed to join the slack, why don't we make our own with blackjack and hookers!!
I have an intense personal hatred for exclusivity, VIP areas and elitism. Vertcoin didn't used to be about all that...ho-hum..I suppose a coin is only as good as it's Captain. The current "dev" admitting that he "does not have the skills to lead" and is hoping that Poramin will help him (after Dec 28th) is extremely disappointing IMO. Promising EVM and then days later saying that it wasn't going to happen, WTF?? Who is this guy etang anyway? He doesn't seem to be helping Vert in any way at ALL.Nothing was promised , the details are still be worked out. The slack is for team members and devs since we are all from different parts of the world and that's how we talk to each other . What do I do ? Well I contribute when I can and donate to speed things up . You seem just to complain . If all you can do is complain please keep your FUD and opinions to yourself .
I don't know about everyone else, but I would donate if you had a god damn plan. I'm sure as hell not going to throw my money at you to keep sitting there twiddling your thumbs however. You say you donate and help to speed things up, but what things are you speeding up? We the community haven't heard of any Vert development in months, so I just don't understand what you are talking about.
Again, development takes time . We have jobs , schools , familes etc. We aren't here to beck your call .I'm going to stop posting here , I thought I would keep you guys up to speed , but you people expect everything to happen magically.

many miners go to zcash, from the standpoint of mining vrt looks good, but price ... and a view of the future looks badly oh badly 
Nobody has a crystal ball, so you never know.Some homeless guy can be richer than you are the next week.
We just have to wait it out. Yes i know it has taken ages already, lost my mind quite a few times already but well i just can't do anything about it but wait.
The price will go up, even if no development comes. But how much time we need to wait for that... that is something we don't know!

There is supposed to be an official announcement regarding EVM implementation with Vert which the time table is "soon", but that word has a certain connotation in crypto.
It's being discussed. There seems to more cons though . It anyone is a developer that wants to jump on the team, then things would go faster
