I'm the only one. Still holding down the fort. But no development. We need a dev, but no one has stepped up.

I am not sure if there is a report for this or I am not sure what its called. I am looking to figure out my profit from my completed buy/sell pairs. Such as 1 ETH buy then 1 ETH sell at a higher price. Is this an option?

Do I need to pay for each account if I link them? I am using a trading bot which generates thousands of trades. It would be nice to separate each account out, but might become very costly to do that.

Just dropping a note here. I am the last remaining person on the Opal team. I still maintain the website, a couple nodes, and pay for the explorer. I would be interested in chatting with people to get our codebase updated.

I am still one of the originals on the project, but we need developers. At least to just update the wallet with a better core. I already run a few nodes, keep the website up, and pay for the blockchain explorer. I would still be interested in spending time on this coin. I just need some support.

Could there be an issue with a newer version of boostlib on 15.10? I'm trying to recall that I had compile issues on 15.10 but 14.04 compiled fine.

Running without GUI? also, did you use the bitcoin repo for the older packages?

Is there an IRC or Slack channel?

Simple858, try forwarding port 22534 on your router to your wallet computer. It looks like Upnp is disabled by default in the wallet. Or you can enable upnp through, Settings, Options, Network (tab), Map Port through upnp. This might open up a security issue due to a upnp vulnerability found a few months ago, I would still recommend to do a manual port forward.

We always recommend downloading it from the website. We've had issues in the past with people posting bad links on bitcointalk.

Use the basic wallet code. We removed some of the addons which were causing some issues. Please let me know if you are having issues and if you can send me your debug logs. I will look at these issues as they are bought up.

I know that many of you have been wondering what has been going on with Opal. I/we apologize for the lack of updates. I (coolcash) am still dedicated to this coin, I have been involved since the very beginning and have no reason to leave. To give everyone some updates, it is correct, whitj/bassguitarman left our development team a few months ago. We will be looking for a new developer to assist us in future updates and features, if anyone wants to join and help support our team please PM me, Truther, or the OpalTeam account.

Current goals for Opal:

1. Continue adoption of opal though merchants and other services to accept opal.
2. Opal drive, its still a concept, but has promising potential.
3. Listen to our users and be more active.

Wallet updates:

1. Windows Basic Wallet has been tested with Windows 10. Its on our website. Please let me know if there are any issues.
2. A bootstrap.dat file is available for import, this will save a lot of time on the sync.

We have a new blockchain service http://chainz.cryptoid.info/opal/
