Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees

BCH price fell 11% to $1,211... market cap of bitcoin cash is $20 billion... original bitcoin had a maximum limit of 1 MB of data per block or about 3 transactions per second.
although these limits could be raised technically, the bitcoin community never reached a consensus after years of debate.
so, instead of raising the limits, the community decided to create another blockchain (which was later known as Bitcoin Cash) with the improved limits. the older bitcoins were taken to this new and improved blockchain that had a maximum limit of 8 MBs per block.
from the hard fork on August 1, 2017, Bitcoin Cash was born, increasing the capacity limit of each block.
the purpose of the fork was to raise the number of transactions that can be processed by increasing the block size to 8 MBs against 1 MB of bitcoin.

So according to your logic BCH transaction capacity is 3*8=24 transactions per second (that's a game changer), wow...

How is it decided what nodes get added to the commits? For example this commit https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/commit/694221cec7ca7cd5a9998755b609632503f1de56

Just wondering, of course I would like my own node to be added there at some point Smiley

all these nodes will be ddosed hella by the wall street people *mark this post* masking centralized ponzi schemes don't last in my world :-D lmfao

*mark this post* your mom was ddosed like hell 9 months before you were born :-D lmfao

BTX will overtake BCA once people realize its potential, keep on hoarding.

You mean BCH?  BCA is already lower cap.

Edit:  BCH txs Volume is going to be magnitudes higher so that won’t happen.

Sorry my mistake, of course I mean BCH  Grin
Just wait until people notices how BTX works it will be in high demand, this is not just another BTC copycat.

You are right about bitcoin issues.
Bitcoin Cash - BCH solves most problems with BTC. Low transaction fees, and larger block size means better throughput.
Even with Lightning Network, BTC's 1 MB block size is not scaleable for the future.

Yes! And all credit for that goes to bitcoin network. Increasing numbers of unconfirmed transactions coupled with insanely high fees fueled the growth of Ripple in last couple of days. Ripple is technologically much superior than bitcoin and people have started investing in big numbers it seems. If we can't find a solution to the bitcoin network issues, we will be doomed pretty soon. I was a long term investor of bitcoin, but yesterday I invested in Ripple seeing its growth. Recently I came to know that the testing of lightening network was successful on bitcoin network. We need to implement it soon to get back on track.

And Bitcore even solves more problems compared to BCH Smiley
Check the comparison, it is crazy what Bitcore is capable of compared to BTC or any of its clones.

Hi team BTX, I have been looking for alternative coins to invest in. One potential was Bitcoin Atom but seems like it lost the traction in my opinion, will be focusing on BTX now, I see a lot of potential here. Is there any way to help get this coin moving?

buy it and hold it

Already put a significant amount of euro into it, will hold it. Still I am interested if I can help this coin progress in any other way. How can we get this coin to be traded on Bitstamp?

Hi, long time lurker here who is interested in this coin. Are you looking for someone who can help with creating the icon? I would be interested, do not necessarily need any coins for this but of course if you wish to share I am more than happy to receive 1 or 2. I work for a large IT company and create icons quite frequently for them, attached a concept I created in a couple of minutes.
