Any news about the integration with bitshares or i'm wrong about this?

Hi copi85!

Actually you're 100% accurate! I can give you an update.  Basically, our plan is to build a mechanism that enables near-instant Tips transactions.  It's currently pretty fast anyway (usually under 3 minutes).  What we are doing is making almost instant (3 seconds maximum).

This will happen by us forking Bitshares to create a parallel blockchain.  It won't run on the Bitshares nodes, but in our own Fedora project DPOS blockchain. When you want to go shopping/tipping/transacting in any way, TIPS holders will be able to transfer TIPS from their POW based desktop wallets up to our new DPOS chain for fast transactions.  Our responsive web wallet will be the user interface to DPOS network. It will be sort of like having a checking account that's fast and convenient (web wallet), and a separate savings account for security (desktop wallet).

We've done all the research and proof of concept, and pretty much completed the design. Next step is to get a test network running and a prototype web wallet. Target delivery date is September - November (exact date TBC).  Our Trello has the roadmap in more detail: https://trello.com/b/MWdyyCfA

Our project team just released a blog post talking about this more, and also about our general progress reviving Fedora Tips.  Here's the link if you are interested. https:/[Suspicious link removed]/W9TgSv1mMD

Based on your questions you're looking for more than just infographics, but we've got an overview of the desktop (POW)/web (DPOS) relationship.

Cheers!

ok, thanks a lot for your answer. Good luck. We're anxious to test the new features. Come on team!!

Somebody mentioned 2 wallets hold the majority of all the eos in existance.
What is all this about Huh

I read 10 wallets have 50% of the EOS coins  Huh Huh Undecided

EOS whales can manipulate the market when they want. They can't claim to be truly "decentralized"

I m desappointed by this information Undecided

look at that:

https://ethereumworldnews.com/half-of-all-eos-tokens-held-by-just-ten-addresses/

Probably it's due to these wallets are of exchanges, like binace, kraken, etc...

Oh - Oh, it looks like the "gem" has some quite serious  bugs:

https://www.newsbtc.com/2018/05/29/security-researchers-discover-multiple-epic-vulnerabilities-in-eos-blockchain/?utm_source=[Suspicious link removed]&utm_medium=facebook

Serious vulnerabilities found in EOS, just days ahead of mainnet. Price isn't happy about that.

These are rumors and there is nothing concrete. Attempts to destabilize before launching the mainnet...

if they exist.... errors better before than after
Price will be up very early, but this isn't the important about the project

Question: How could they know as main net isn't released yet?

And I quote: "This type of security issue affects not only EOS but also other types of blockchain platforms and virtual currency applications.”"

Which other types of blockchain? Any news about it?

If you want to increase your portfolio with another little coins, there is an interesting opportunity here, trading some doge

TIPS really is an undervalue coin

I bought QTUM 1 month ago, the best investment I have ever made. I hope there will be another dip to buy more

I have some tokens since ICO but have no plan to sell this because I have strong believe into this platform and keeping this as my retirement plan. This is still worthy to invest into this project it will rise to the moon very soon and we have wonderful opportunity to make our dream come true.

how many is to the moon? Any prediction in dolars?

Hello,
tips it's amazing project but we need a good collection of exchanges, with the coin in them, to say "hello" to the world
