Wow I knew a lot of people would be developing with similar ideas in mind but this is a little crazy. I own the domain coinmart.io & am developing something very similar but with integration/ automated escrow.

Best of luck however, very nice graphics  Wink

They don't ask for any id however be very careful trading on localbitcoins. I've done a number of trades there and the number one type of fraud is stolen bank funds. So the lesson here is to wait at least 7 days after the bank deposit before releasing escrow.

This is of course only if you trade with someone who accepts bank transfer.

Good luck,

Explain please.
Sure. Generally people attempting this scam will set their buy prices a fair bit higher than everyone else. I have easily seen anywhere between 25 - 35% the market rate. Here is an example of such a user, https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/Jacopdunn88/feedback

Re: Fruastrated bitcoiners start lawsuit against Ebay

Well, an obvious solution seems to avoid Paypal and ebay. There are alternatives.

But it is quite evil that Ebay have in their terms that they cannot be sued. I wonder if that's even legal.

I don't think it's that black & white (I hope not). More that they are not liable for trades or auctions which do not fully conform to their TOS.

Why did they remove one of the top 3 exchanges by volume?
http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/currency/USD.html
Maybe because it made Mt. Gox look bad. (Mt. Gox owns bitcoincharts.com)

Thanks for reply.. Look like I'll use Blockchain API.
But how about this very primitive idea? :
Create hundreds of wallet on my windows 8 Qt (I don't trust any hosting company.. I have a bad experience)
Match them with users(every user has one of this wallets) .
getbalance from his wallet->save database deposits/wins/loses
...
May be I'm missing something.

Your not missing anything apart from how you would store that sensitive data. There is of course the possibility of running out of addresses, I guess it comes down to how many you generate...

Switzerland is one of the most highly taxed countries in the world. They also provide great healthcare & drug rehabilitation programs. However setting a basic income of $2800 monthly will make it near impossible for certain businesses to operate.

Re: What about when all the coins are mined and the hashing is done?
by
coreli
on 28/11/2013, 23:31:49 UTC
The incentives to mine are: newly created coins and the transaction fees. Even when all coins are mined, the transaction fees still belong to the miner.

mskryxz: the algorithm behind Bitcoin (SHA256) is useless for "genome, dna, ai, weather modeling". ASICs are not reprogrammable, the algorithm in them cannot be changed.

What about the other alt coins that still use cpu or gpu to mine like litecoins?

People have already moved hashing power around a lot, shared pools etc.

I highly highly doubt Bitstamp would do something like this. They would do 29k volume per day; a company of this size cannot afford for these sorts of things to happen.

I'm sorry to hear of your situation, that sucks dude  Cry

Hey OP, sorry a few questions;

Would it be possible to provide a test?
Does this traffic have any negative effect? E.G. I know Google does not like adfly.
Do you have any country specific data you can provide? Where the majority of users are from etc?

Thanks,
