Re: Where can I learn trading ?
by

Start with learn to trade stocks, use demo accounts , follow reputable traders on social media. Take a few online courses to help with fundamentals. Then start to learn technical analysis, Then you can use those bases to adapt to crypto. Not to mention learn to live on less sleep, food and human interaction basically be like golem from lord of the ring( just kidding......sort of

Re: What is the most possible Ethereum competitor?
by

on 08/05/2018, 02:09:13 UTC
As we speak there are actually a few who could be a competitor to ETH . Neo( even though I like them) I feel they will always play second fiddle to ETH even though you can use more than one programming languages. Ada will be competitive but their method offers a slower development time in all things( not a bad thing). Zil their sharding tech is almost ready, it’ll be ETH with a stable high speed network with out the bottle necking the ETH sufferers from

Re: In Japan want to ban trading!

I highly doubt they are going to ban crypto, crypto there is super popular. The only reason for any ban would be a temporary one just to get their laws in order. Plus if you notice there is huge fud around the banning of anonymous crypto in a lot  of countries but there is nothing official from any country. So consider It unfounded fud

Re: why is it important to look at the community before investing in their coin?
by
coremind
on 08/05/2018, 01:49:01 UTC
The community of a coin is a huge sign of coin health. It shows that there is belief behind the tech/ideals , the second part is of the community is run properly. If the have mod and team members conduct themselves in a professional manner is a good sign. I’ve been watching as subpar or questionable coins are pushed solely based on the actions of the community.

by
coremind
on 07/05/2018, 02:52:10 UTC
Anybody else feel that this year we are going see to the big/mid cap coins and tokens out pace the small/ micro cap coins and tokens? After last year when basically random small/micro cap would moon for no real reason. This year its been big and mid cap coins that have done that, i feel that most investors are no longer just buying anything, they are sticking to well know, trusted top 50 cryptos.

Values can fluctuate day to day, there is no such thing as stable value, if it worries you find out why . Is it fud, low volume bleed, or Just a red day. Id say hold it and watch the trends, you only lose money if you sell at a loss.

Re: Have you tried setting up a Masternode?
by
coremind
on 07/05/2018, 01:50:13 UTC
I've set up a few they can be pretty lucrative, if you link into the right one. Most of the decent ones have a good guide as well as a lot of community support for setting them up. Just a word of caution, either buy early set up a few then dump them or be patient and wait until they stabilize then buy your node. Do your research check Team, community, liquidity and github(to see if the dev is/has been part of any other scam coins). Dont be afraid to try setting one up think of it as another way to make income from crypto.

Re: Is neo good choice for long-term investment ?
by

I think Neo, like most of the top 10 cryptos are a good bet. When china finishes with its ICO regulation you see more growth, i believe Neo currently has 6 new ICOs in development. This year feels like the more trusted Big/Mid caps will do very well.

Re: Will Bitcoin ever be so popular like real money ??
by
coremind
on 06/05/2018, 01:13:03 UTC
We are still in the early phases of adoption for non fiat based currency. At one point Bitcoin was used as an alternative currency by a few websites and business. The growth and popularity has pushed it from being a currency to acting more like gold. Its generally to expensive to use as a day to day currency now and i suspect it will stay that way for the near future.

Re: When you try explain crypto to a non tech person!
by
coremind
on 04/05/2018, 21:16:54 UTC
its actually not that hard to explain

Block chain -open ledger of all transactions on said network( each person gets a copy when they download a wallet, each transaction must be confirmed, by others in the network, to go through)

currencies- monetized incentive for maintaining said Block chain network via mining, staking or masternode

mining -essentially you're performing maintenance checks and turn the transaction info into blocks to be sorted on the chain

staking -like a saving account (adds interest) as long as you are connected to the network( insuring network connectivity)

masternodes- always connected to the network verifying transactions for the miners to add to the network block chain

if they are not good with tech terms use business terms(most people understand them)

Re: How much time do you spend reasearching your prospective coin buys?

Honestly , i forgot about github, even if you're an amateur (like me) you can still find a lot a valuable info. You can find who is working on the code, how often they are working on it,connections to prior project(successful or not), any current problems as well as the coding team size.

Truthfully booth come into play, your base should always be technical analysis, fundamentals and current news. When you have go through all of that, then your intuition comes into play, if it feels off then you dig deeper into other available resources.

I like icx but with the market the way it is, its best to wait a little longer, you most likely see the price slide some more. I am personally waiting for a little more confirmation from the market before moving in. In the mean time  there are a bunch of good projects out there to pursue

Re: Market corrections are good
by

I think when market growing up very slow thats good because correction always been small. One more thing bitcoin must stay in small price range a long time so that grow up.

steady growth vs parabolic volatility is always better in the long term. This stops people from dumping one then chasing the other which undermines those who don't chase.

Re: Will crypto be fully regulated by governements?
by
coremind
on 11/03/2018, 23:22:23 UTC
Crypto will be regulated to some extent. They can not regulate the whole cryptoshere, the time and money to do so would be astronomical. They have already started with icos, exchanges and conversion to fiat(taxes). I highly doubt they will go any further, seems like a lot of countries are starting to toy with the idea of adopting it vs banning.

Yeah it is good, it stops when moon things. But whats happening in the last 3-4 moths is beyond correction of course, its such a loss -.-

I don't see it as beyond correction, just look at the historical data most coins are still well above last year at this time. 4th quarter last year was crazy and was way beyond anything that was healthy. Then stack in that 1st quarter is always a bear market, new investors getting scared because everything is coming down, not to mention the various large FUD that went on so far etc. Now where see more settled prices

The FOMO and FUD trends are generally offer the ability to see,how legitimate a project is. If its strong the fud is weathered and life goes on. With Fomo and the drastic increase you watch to see if it actually holds the price line. The sad part of it all this is where you find the whales, either dumping and rebuying or just simply turning a big profit and rebuying Undecided

I think that a person doesn't need to be a genius to learn about their portfolio prospects:)) even at the dip there are always decent price changes which makes it possible to speculate.

Agreed they don't need to be a genius ,just informed. Understanding what your are buying is key, understanding that will give you the latitude to speculate
