Before things got crazy there was steady solid growth. Maybe things are just getting back onto that line?

yes i am also worried about there domain expiry this friday i checked genesis mining and they originally has the same term of 3 years on there domain but have already renewed theres so don't know what the situation here is ............i hope they are not going to run with all our money

It is totally beyond me why they are leaving this until the last minute. I checked with their registrar, they will have got invoiced 10 days before expiry, i.e. last week.

Letting FUD spread for the sake on paying $10 later makes no sense.

TL;DR - Hashflare website is down. They have taken all our money.

... -- Hashflare was a big scam.

The site appears to be up again. Nicehash was taken out yesterday, maybe this is related?

There are posts on this forum from people saying they were with ZeusHash for over a year. Use the search to see for yourself.

Any scam cloudmining that lasted for more than 3-4 months, not to say 4 years? Please can you give an example

ZeusHash seems to be recommended on a lot of review sites, but is dead. I'm assuming that was a scam.

Well, i own 200 domain and they are all on auto extend, if you actually think that someone needs to input card details and extend then lol Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Bad press is basically from people that don't understand this, same as people crying that withdrawals take time, like it's something extraordinary on the BTC network.

I own over 200 domains as well. All renew automatically well before the expiration date. You can choose whether they auto renew or not. You can choose whether you the registra has your card details on file or whether you manually top up the balance. You can also choose how many years you register for in the first place. You can usually choose to extend the registration period at any time. People registering for more than a year or two at a time might suggest that they have confidence they'll still be around.

Everyone understands this unless they've been living under a rock for past 20 years.

There have been lots of cloud mining companies that looked legit and turned out to be scams. People are right to be cautious and look out for sights HashFlare isn't legit. HashFlare themselves should be mindful of this and make every effort to demonstrate they are legit as that leads to more sales hence profit for them.

I'm not buying until they renew their domain at least. Why get the bad press from something so trivial? Why not just renew it now?

Thanks for posting this. I know someone who made a similar investment, so far so good, it's matching the calculations but it's too early to know for sure. Hashflare certainly worries me more than GM and HN, but they haven't had any SHA256 mining contracts available for some time.

I will post a full analysis with dates of contracts purchase, BTC price on the purchase date and so on. That will be accurate otherwise it doesn't make sense but it will take some time so please be patient.

Please do that some day.

Seconded.

I'm concerned that Hashnest and Genesis are both out of stock, yet Hashflare seems to have a never ending supply of hashing power? It would be nice to hear more from actual customers sharing their stats and experiences rather than the usual FUD.

Gigabyte RX580 8GB - missing ROM settings?
by
cosmicnet
on 03/12/2017, 23:07:41 UTC
Hi,

I'm disappointed with this card. I wish I bought another MSI. It isn't performing well, and when I try to mod it, I'm not seeing what I would expect for the memory timings.

All the guides are similar to the MOD I managed to successfully apply to my MSI card. Copy the 1:1750 memory timing to 1:2000, and 2:1750 to 2:2000.

But this gigabyte card doesn't have that. It only has 0:1500 as its highest option. I'm new to modding and weary to apply a ROM I've downloaded that doesn't have the same available settings as the default ROM.

I don't understand why my cards ROM doesn't match any of the ones I've managed to find online.

Any advice would be appreciated as this cards hash rate is pretty undesirable.

Came across this coin whilst looking for mining/investment opportunities. Some things looks good, but then stuff like this:
http://netcoin.io/road-map/
Is really off putting - if you having it on your site, keep it up to date.

Likewise the lists of devs not having links to active linkedin profiles to make it easy to verify their authenticity.
