I was mining this for a little bit.  Saw in my Delta app that this thing was pumped over 50% today and then dropped back down a little over 47% into the red.  Haven't looked at the trade history on stocks.exchange but i imagine it was pumped and then dropped off a cliff.  For a copy/paste type of deal, this coin sure hasn't done too well in the very short amount of time its been alive....

The "Show in explorer" option when you right click on your transaction in the swing wallet takes you to the BTCZ explorer      Feels more and more like a copy/paste with a logo change...

Mine also does that from time to time.  I just leave it open until it decides it wants to connect to some peers.  I have already added all the available nodes but still run int the 0 connections sometimes.  It always picks up one or two and gets me syncing eventually.  I have deleted the blocks and chainstate folders and am currently resyncing from 8 peers.

Is it just me, or does everyone need to reindex their wallet almost every other time they open their wallet.  Using simplewallet or the swing wallet it doesnt matter I still get the EOF error literally every other time i try and open this thing....

Back on schedule.  The website server crashing right before new years is definitely bad timing but hopefully everything gets sorted out promptly.  Gonna hold the coins I have at this point and see where the development goes in the coming weeks

   Glad I could help out.  Mined a few hundred on the nibirupool in a today with no issues at all.  Loaded up the wallet a little bit ago and everything synced up no problem!

You have to run the swingwallet.jar file instead of the cli.exe file.  Leave the daemon open while you try to run the jar file by the way as thats the daemon the swing wallet is connecting through!

If you are both getting this error, make sure you are following the OP as far as initial installation.  I did not and tried to just run the wallet as is and got the same error.

Fair enough.  Well I have transferred the 2680 and some change BTCZ that I mined to the "BTC oriented wallet" to the community wallet.

Whatever address we donate-mine to other than directly to BTC, will need to be exchanged for BTC at some point by the devs.  But to each is own.  Just trying to help out and get the ball rolling a little bit faster.

I'm assuming you are referring to Snowgem.  If so, I thought the exact same thing.  Not about the competition, but about the zkSnarks craze we are having right now.  They are off to a rocky start without a working windows wallet and group of people that dont really want to help you out (with setting up the linux wallet or running the linux wallet through windows bash).  Our community > Their community.

That was the idea.  Have one wallet mining to the main BTCZ donation address and then another mining to a wallet that will be converted to BTC and then donated to the BTC donation address.  This would (in my eyes, anyway) be easier to keep track of where the funds are going and give a 50/50 "payout to hashpower" for both donations address.  Most of the larger exchanges require a hefty BTC application fee anyway so what ever is left over after we get Coinomi under our belt, will go to that as well.  Save time for the devs having to figure out how much to convert to BTC for the application fees (if that is the plan or not, I'm not sure).  At least we would have a steady BTCZ donation and a steady BTC donation is mainly what I am getting at.
