Hi! Sometimes (once per 2-3 days) the miner (v 0.20.3) just quits. When I see no hashrate at the pool I check the system (Windows 10 x64 based) and see that everything is running except the miner. The system didn't reboot or had any stress. What can bee the reason? Probably some timeout or repeating errors? The bat file string is as follows. The GPUs are OCed by AB. Thank you!
CUDA version: 11.0, CUDA runtime: 8.0 No OpenCL platforms found Available GPUs for mining: GPU1: GeForce GTX 1070 Ti (pcie 9), CUDA cap. 6.1, 8 GB VRAM, 19 CUs
Did not work for me system32 folder did not contain nvml.dll file SYSWOW64 did, I copied over dll from your archive but PhoenixMiner still can't find any cards - "No OPENCL platforms found" says the miner
This post contains the instructions on how to fix the latest 460.79 Nvidia Windows driver. The reason for the problem is that one of the DLLs (nvml.dll) that the driver installs is corrupted. Here is what you have to do in order to fix the problem:
Extract the file nvml.dll from the .zip archive you have downloaded in the previous step, and then copy it to the folder C:\Windows\System32. There will be a file with the same name here, so you have to overwrite it (you will be prompted by Windows are you sure, blah, blah, blah)
Note that this .dll is the original .dll from Nvidia (it is still digitally signed by them). If you are really paranoid, you can download 460.79 drivers from Nvidia, then use 7zip to open the .exe and extract the dll (you will find it at 460.79-desktop-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql.exe\Display.Driver\nvml.dll), and then copy it to the C:\Windows\System32 folder.

What does GPU-Z say? Is OpenCL enabled on all cards? If not then you have driver install problem -> Uninstall current driver with DDU, reboot, install driver again

Just switched from EBWF too, however I'm having multiple stability issues, the miner tells me to lower the overclock.
Can anyone share their settings with me?, right now I have two rigs, both with 6x gtx 1070, had to lower the oc to +100/+500 due to this (previously +150/+600), however I think I can increase memory more.
I use +100 +300 + autooverclock in EVGA precision on my EVGA FTW 1070ti it works great ~500Sol
I think something might be wrong with one of my cards, it barely reach 430 sols/s
Disable all overclocking. Start DSTM and mine for like 8-12 hours, enable logs. Then add some OC and repeat until satisfied. In my experience DSTM doesn't like overclocking much, proceed with care, also look closely at shares per minute - its more important than hashrate IMO

Re: Nvidia P102-100 Mining GPU's coming up (Mining version of the GTX 1080ti)
Interesting options, but i guess i'll wait for the 2000 series, as it's just around the corner. Hopefully can get my hands on a few of those, if they'll have a fair price/performance. Still it's good that we get more variants, since everybody struggles with GPU shortages. We'll see if these mining cards actually hit the store shelves
I'd say IV 2018 not around the corner m8

I'm intersted just for fun, russian native speaker
That is actually one of my plan. I have a close friend who also have free electricity and we are thinking to buy rigs to mine different coins, like btc. However, we are not yet experts on it, so we are buying more time to study and get to know more all about mining. We dont want our investment go to waste. Rigs are very expensive investment, no need to be greedy.
I'd start with GPU mining, ASIC machines are hot, noisy and have more chance to break. Also with free electricity consider buying old gpus like radeon390 they are cheap and hot but performance is good
