[ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin

BITCOIN PRIVATE

Similar to Bitcoin, BTCP will support peer-to-peer transactions without an intermediary. These transactions will be verified by network nodes through the use of cryptography and recorded in a public ledger. Unlike Bitcoin, BTCP supports an increased block size and block time for faster transactions with lower fees. Furthermore, transactions can be performed on a private (z) ledger. When sending from one private address to another, the sender, recipient, and amount are all private.

The Importance of Bitcoin Private

Recently, it has become clear that the crypto community’s privacy is at risk. Everytime one makes a transaction on the Bitcoin blockchain, the transaction is recorded on the blockchain in perpetuity for anyone to see. We have seen the BitFury Group use this information to de-anonymize over 15% of the entire Bitcoin network, along with many other examples. This led us to create Bitcoin Private (BTCP) - a fork-merge of the ZCL & BTC blockchains and introduction of the zk-SNARKS feature to Bitcoin.

The hard fork will allow users to safely transfer their digital currency without any threat to their privacy, known as shielded transactions, on the Bitcoin Private blockchain. For example, transactions would still take place on this Bitcoin based blockchain, except without being recorded on the public ledger -- leaving absolutely no trail of your transaction details to anyone other than the sender and recipient. This has never been done before with any Bitcoin hard fork. Ultimately, privacy was once a cornerstone of Bitcoin but can no longer be guaranteed today.

Aside from the shielded transactions, Bitcoin Private is also making transactions faster and more efficient by doubling the Bitcoin block size from 1MB to 2MB and decreasing the block time from 10 min to 2.5 min.

Moving forward, the Bitcoin Private team will continue securing appropriate partnerships to bolster the Bitcoin Private initiative. You should expect announcements around these partnerships to continue throughout 2020 as we seek to build a sustainable technology platform.

We anticipate our development team to continue growing in headcount and skill set, which allows us to build out our ambitious post-fork technology roadmap. The successful execution of our roadmap will allow Bitcoin Private to deliver superior value to other Bitcoin hard forks, especially around privacy and transaction speeds. When we paused our development, I decided to search for investments...for ICO. ICO was my first thought, but later I changed text and removed that idea. At the end, why we need that useless token if we can replace it with payments in BTC, ETH or USD. So, I proceed with searching for seed funding money, but so far in vain. The recent hack of Cryptopia exchange shows us that we need such service in order to be able to follow hackers wallet and where funds are going further.

I have a team of .NET developers that started work on software that will allow everyone to be able to follow wallets and transactions, to mark that as ICOs treasuries, smart contracts, exchanges and specially malicious actors like, for example, recent Cryptopia hackers wallets and transactions from that wallets. Besides, we want to add notifications about crypto movements from/to and moved coin custom number along with adding that wallets, smart contract etc. in your personal watchlist and our general watchlist. Just imagine what hackers could do if we have already marked their wallet as malicious as well as all wallets that are receiving crypto from that wallet. As a plus, we want to develop a bot that will notify you in twitter, send you an email about such movements and will be connected to our mobile app.

So to summarize, our project will provide you with:
1. Web and mobile apps
2. Custom and general wallets watchlist
3. Funds movement statistics
4. Transactions tracker and other
5. ETH, BTC and other blockchains wallets tracking

I am looking for people interested in building/testing/playing a game with me that has crypto (BTC) prizes.  I built a concept game some time ago called "King of the Ring" but due to its popularity (and lack of resources) the server couldn't handle the load and also epay went scam and the project failed.

The game will be a simple PHP/MySQL driven game with timers on actions to balance the load.  I will initially be using game-icons (website) for the card graphics and coding the game logic based on my ideas and people suggestions.

This is a hobby project that could turn into something bigger.  BTC prizes will be paid from funds I donate and also from ad revenues earned in the game and a portion of sales.
