Looks like all bugs are fixed and new code is working stable. Nowadays Bytecoin appears to be a good coin to invest into as being shown by my own purchases of BCN Many thanks to developers for recent updates. Wish the next one update won't have any problems
His hashrate is equivalent of 1000 Radeon 290.... or 6000 intel haswell cores
Most likely explanation is a botnet.
I read that the devs of BCN use botnet to make fake demand for this coin. Is it true ?
Nope, it's Monero botnet is mining Monero as usual:
That's not the first time Monero developers use botnet and instamine coins
Seriously ?? I haven't heard about it - any links?

Of cause, Bytecoin(BCN)! Especially recently than BCn dev have implemented multi-sig tech and after it has become possible arrange to set the amount of fee to pay for the faster transactions
Hello! What are the advantages of the multi-signature technology being included in BCN framework?
The implementation of multi-signature technology allows for development of higher security wallets that will , probably, increase the interest from wider audience of people involved in crypto currency world, in other words, it will increase the number of exchanges, stores and services accepting BCN.
Well, these are good reasons to implement it in BCN code. Glad to know that they've made such decision and looking forward to see more exchanges and services accepting BCN
That's gonna happen soon. Keep calm! Rome wasn't built in a day
You are absolutely right, Roma wasn't built in a day! I'll try to be calm and believe in a better future

I am surprised to hear there is someone who doesnt' know Minergate, the first BCN pool to mine on.
The updated blockchain is available for download from https://bytecoin.org/downloads I've also chatted with the devs, there will be be huge events soon. You may be even able to ask them yourselves
I'm still on vacation till Sunday, so don't miss me much!
It sounds very mysterious!
Yep, is this huge event somehow apocalyptic?
Wow, that's not good to have an apocalyptic event. IMO, this event would be somehow connected with gui wallet
And when this huge event is going to happen? I so excited as every time BCN devs promises something huge it appears to be something really significant.

Re: [ANN] Xmining Pool [BCN/MRO/FCN/QCN/XDN/BBR] CryptoNote Mining Pool
One of the reasons why I mine Bytecoin is that it require less energy to mine this coin than Bitcoin. So, Bytecoin is more ecological coin than BTC. IMO, it's an important advantage in the area when environmental issues have risen to the fore
Agree
Well, nowadays Bytecoin is like Bitcoin in 2009 - it's up to date coin which is true anonymous and recently have got more user-friendly interface with gui wallet.
How come so many experts are warning this coin is a scam?
Is it true this bytecoin bcn is trying to confuse people with the real bytecoin bte? Is it true this bytecoin bcn is premined?
How come this coin's original promoters a few months ago used names similar to those used by the other bytecoin? Were they trying to confuse people into thinking this bytecoin was around a long time, when in fact it is new?
I don't know if I should be wary of this coin since so many people are warning it looks like a scam.
I don't know about the real bytecoin (BTE), but this Bytecoin (BCN) has a premine of 82% by a small group of people.
It was secretly released in 2012 to a small group of people and has been mined by them for around 2 years until it was officially released to the public this March of 2014. Those people, mined 82% of all Bytecoins, or over 150billion Bytecoins total. The max coin supply for Bytecoin is 180billion, so they own over 82% of all Bytecoins there is. The Bytecoin Blockchain shows everything.
I would call this a very severe premine.
Also, mining Bytecoin is Unprofitable. The other cryptonote coins are 10x more profitable to mine than this coin, since BCN has nonexistent buy support..
Once again another absolute false statement. this one is almost humorous. lol
LOL, false statement? Provide Any evidence otherwise.
My evidence is the Bytecoin Blockchain, which you cant argue with..All the proof is there, the 82% premine.
my evidence would be the $10,000k I have made off of bcn in the last month .
What pc do you use to mine?? I've mined much less than you

Another one step forward- they've have made the API . Now I am sure BCN to be the first cryptonote currency which is widely used.
News section on CryptoNote.org We are happy to announce a news section on the cryptonote.org. The new section is dedicated to new developments, ideas and news from the CryptoNote realm. About two years ago the CryptoNote technology had only been represented by Bytecoin (BCN) but since then things have changed dramatically. Not only the number of Bytecoins has soared, the other coins such as Quazarcoin, Fantomcoin and Monero are taking the cryptocurrency world by storm. The CryptoNote community becomes very diverse and geographically disseminated therefore we believe it is our duty to spread the word and bring everyone at one place. Just by clicking on the news tab youll have the latest account on whats been going on with CryptoNote-based currencies along with fresh updates from the devs at hand. The idea is to turn this website into a vibrant pool of information accessible to anybody who wants to keep one's finger on the pulse of CryptoNote technology. If you are a CryptoNote enthusiast and you have some ideas worth sharing, please dont hesitate to contact us at news@cryptonote.org
Thanks a lot for the announcement! We will surely inform you about latest BCN Community news.
The idea is great! Nice to see we have a place where all hot news about cryptonote-based coins will shown.
