This is all very well, but how are we adding value to the coin? We are not going to add value just by sitting around and up-voting LAT on all the exchanges! Using LAT to buy ad space is a start, but maybe we need to look at providing services for LAT. Are there some brave souls on here who are ready to accept LAT for their services in lieu of FIAT?
I am waiting to see how many people step up to the plate!
I recently made a site accepting LAT but the whole process from latium is making people give up and not go though the whole process of registering and then waiting 24hours for latium.
so they never come back or just lose interest. anyway this is my site (it's for a game http://latiumskins.likesyou.org/

Latium is now at 60 pages of forum and 200k coins distributed. Funny to think of those that say this was a Scam coin on page 1 of this forum. They have been proven wrong, LAT-admin have not spent 1 coin of operational LAT. Keep voting. HitBTC knows LAT has a strong community and trading activity and eventually they will want to make some of that $$

I second this thought. What's the point of dumping them for pennies. The devs obviously have long term plans for the coin. They haven't even spent 1 coin of operational LAT.
Everyone report me to hitbtc and tell them how I'm a cry baby . Hopefully we can get them to smile!

DUDE.....this is not going to help you at all. Do you want to continue to make money online or do you just want to go back to 5th grade and just post junk?
Yes the admin changed some things in the referral system, but it was needed to keep it all running. They cant just let allot of people skip the wallet download step and never run the wallet software while earning thousands of LAT and selling on exchanges directly because the wallet software running is what confirms all the transactions on the network....so imagine if they have 50,000 transactions waiting to be confirmed and only 3 people have the wallet running. It would not be good so I totally understand where the admin is coming from.
Advice: Just move on and build more referrals (easy) and get $1,000 more out of this...or keep crying and get nowhere. I will even give you some good tips to build some referrals if it will get you back on track and earning.
You may be down a little bit now but Latium is still kinda new and you can still get referrals easy, so get building again and get back in the green.

Your referrals have 24 hours to input a Valid Latium Wallet Address. If they do so, you will be credited for the referral and paid out following your request. Any users that have signed up before the system change can still go back and add a wallet and users will be credited for their account (until July 31, 2014). This procedure was enacted to maintain the value and integrity of the coin. Thank you.

How about we give these Latium devs some credit! Impatient people are so quick to post "WHERE MY LATIUM AT?" That gets on my nerves. They've told us to read the forum....
They said 72 hours and sure enough, 60 or so hours later they deliver. look at there metrics it shows they gave out over 10,000 coins today. Seems like they are pretty honesty too me.

I don't understand why he say this is bad for the community? They make a nice site, give away coins and are fully transparent about the transactions. 
If you don't want to get free coins, then don't sign up. There is no reason to talk bad about it. The devs are sometimes confusing, but they have followed through on everything so far. It's not shady, its really good. I will continue to support it.
