Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012
Reality! Is this coin ever going to be listed on Binance ever again? If not we already know what's the future of it...
Can the official BCN pronounce himself over this? I would like to see it listed there again since people saying the wallet synchronization got better...
Waiting reply.
If there is a secure and reliable mobile wallet, there would be no need to talk about binance
whats happening BCN , It is now 18 Satoshi . Its going down from last 6 months. after big 190 satoshi mark. I had few when it was 45 , then delisted from Binance and reached 20 . But 800 BTC wall on HitBtc saved it , I don't know that wall is there or not.. Now its forcing to think about its selling or Holding
I know dev team is working hard but somewhere something we missing ...
This is happening to more than 90% of coins. Most that don't fall can't go any lower.

Also though, a decentralized exchange has the benefit of not having to pay for hosting/platform costs and only development costs, and doesnt have to follow legislative requirements in theory.
In contrast, the drawback is users have to secure their account personally. If they lose their private keys, they will totally lose their account, their money, and DEX will not help them to recover.
Then build it, we as individuals need to take responsibility. Having it working you will be able to build it better over time

...some amount of teething problems should be expected
You think I should waste more 4 weeks to resync and feel happy?
Hey, devs! What about blockchain download?
Not saying you have to but at this time, yes mine is a virtual machine with about 5 snapshot done once a week revert to a good one when corrupt, hoping they will get it right before its too large. This is my bit, can the blockchain be more be more like torrent?

Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012
I've used a desktop wallet. Have used. Now I don't know where am I because of it's impossible to call it "use".
After the v3 was published I have found out that my wallet is out of sync, devs have changed the blockchain storage type to SQLite, the old blockchain is useless and there is no a new blockchain to download. So I had to resync my wallet from 0. It took not so long time, just about 4 weeks. You know, it's more than 3 and less than 5. 4 weeks!
Meanhile a new wallet was published, v3.3.2. And my wallet says it's out of sync again!
What the hell is going on? You mean I have to wait for a 4 weeks again?
Now I have about 85GB of the various official blockchains, 0 warnings about such critical changes as a change of blockchain storaging type and no official information about what is going on.
Is there any ways for normal use of BCN in present time or should I forget of it?
Why can't you publish a blockchain/bootstrap/fckng-sync-file or something else not to waste my time and electricity!
its a new technology, in constant development some amount of teething problems should be expected

Re: [BCN] Bytecoin. Secure, private, untraceable since 2012
Why has the team not released the reason for the coin being delisted? That was a week ago and yet we still have no response. I have a feeling poloniex will be next, there's been issues with the wallet for ages.
Without this coin being on big exchanges the price will really fall.
There is something wrong with this coin dev is not cooperating with big exchanges and failed to make them satisfied as they are claiming. I think they should explain on current situation to let know the community on these issues and what solution they have to make it back.
The coin is DEAD has been discovered the farza, in recent months have shown their true intentions, the bytecoin code is malisioso, has overflow of memory, something that I suspect have used to stop wallets out of line during the pumps and dumps organized by themselves
Hi, GranRethory!
We would be glad if you give us any proof of these memory leaks.
the efforts shown by bcn team are mainly responsible for the downfall of this coin, time for the devs to realize that they need to create more value on this coin.
They built something, others can add value, like you

Re: Qwertycoin Heavy | ASIC RESISTANT - CPU & GPU friendly
Isn't the bytecoin wallet a peer to peer client that share the blockchain? if that's the case, it should be a lot of peers every time you open the bytecoin wallet. and the bytecoin wallet should have an option to limit download and upload speeds, i said this before.
Perhaps it SHOULD show a lot of peers, but it doesn't. Fortunately, I had 12 peers for a while and it looks like my download will complete within the next couple hours. This process has taken me well over 1 week to complete. Again, it's very off-putting for people that are only acutely interested in cryptocurrency.
Anyway, thanks to all of you that have offered suggestions.
