Re: Warning : Don’t Ever Let Others Use Your KYC in Gambling Sites
by

I don't think that's really smart to do. Imagine giving your account to someone with your financial information or identification, which could get you in trouble if some things go against the casino's policy.

This isn't just for gambling sites but for every KYC protocol. Don't ever let someone use your identity for their gain.

Re: Is Bitcoin Solving inequality?

I think it is a limitation that people who do not even have bank accounts can have their own Bitcoin wallets. You don't even need to have passbooks or something, and you could still send and receive Bitcoin. It's most likely that all are equal, but the opportunity to buy it is different for everyone. It depends on what aspect it is, in my opinion.

Cheesy

Well, in terms of online, I think it is hard to do unless you are on a Discord call or something. I'm not much of a poker player, but what is the benefit of having collusion? Most likely, it is to gang up on one player? I mean, that's just really unfair.

I don't think any technology right now is capable of detecting that because there are different connections to a game, maybe just randomized to joining of games or something.

Re: How do you handle tilt during a losing streak?
by

on 02/09/2025, 14:38:38 UTC
The best way is to accept it. You cannot really do anything about it because that's what has already happened. You need to accept that that's how it is.

If you mean coping with losses, that's a different thing because you might feel stressed, and other people handle it differently. Mostly, people try to do what's necessary, and for me, meditation is a way to relax and accept the situation I'm in.

Does education solve everything? I think it's one way to mitigate the risk and make informed decisions to prevent problems in the long run. It's not just discipline, but also strategy. Discipline and strategy would be a great combination.

One strategy is to have emergency funds to fall back on and establish safety nets for your investments. That's a good approach towards people.

I was one of the worst players of the week with 7 points. Tongue This pushed me down by one position as a result. Antonelli really did his best not to finish in top 10. I also put Norris for the pole and winner both and didn't trust Verstappen on podium.
Looking back at this race, with the DNFs that happened, it was a point that we all should have. Checking the scoreboard, being the highest one is 10, it's really unpredictable. I didn't think Verstappen would be on the podium as well, seeing Hadjar too on it is quite hard to foresee.

Now we are continuing with another race in Monza without a break thankfully. This is the place Ferrari should put on a good show normally. But after a horrible race weekend I can't be sure of them at all.

If one of them steps forward I think it would be Leclerc. He is already the last winner of the track.
I'm having second thoughts now about what you have mentioned here  Shocked

Nakakagulat naman yung #2 dahil 16 members sila at and PnL rate is pang second.

Personally, I use both Trezor and Ledger. I have both altcoins in there, and I just HODL them and no problems yet. A hardware wallet is a worthwhile investment to ensure your assets are protected.

You can do swaps in their apps and it's quite convenient if you need to liquidate some of it.

It's basically built for businesses. It's going to be for profit all the time, and where's that going to come from? It's from the money of the losers.

Is there someone who could discuss more about the RTP and how much the RNGs give chances? Because if you see that, then there's the "design" to make members lose. That's most likely the case.

Re: If Winning and Losing Leads to Gambling Addiction, Is There Really no Way Out?
by
crwth
on 01/09/2025, 07:49:41 UTC
We all know that gambling itself is addictive. That means, no matter what happens, it can lead someone into an addiction. The overall role of gambling platforms is to make the players stay and play more; the reward systems, marketing strategies, and even the UI/UX are optimized to make players stay, and that's another contributor to the addiction.

There's really no way out, and if someone is really not addicted, they could easily stop; if not, then there's a problem. Control should be there to make sure that you don't get over the line.

Isn't it already scarce? I don't get it. You can't really put much into it because you can no longer lessen it. The halving is what makes it even more scarce. It would depend on the buying and selling pressure from both sides.

You can compare it to assets like gold or something.

Re: What would you do if offline casino refuses to cash out winning?
by
crwth
on 31/08/2025, 11:37:50 UTC
I don't think they can do that; they should've been able to cash you out. Problems in the casino would've been resolved at the table (if there's foul play or cheating involved), but when you are in the cashier already to exchange it, it should've been done already.

Maybe it's too much? $25k at a time? I hope they have managed to speak with the supervisors or someone else. Perhaps it's within the limited range or something and maybe there are AML type of stuff as well.

Re: Is Bitcoin Gambling a big opportunity or a big trap?
by

on 31/08/2025, 05:10:55 UTC
There's no opportunity aside from the entertainment, and a possibility of winning money. There's nothing to stop you from having that, but it's still gambling, unless you create your own casino. There is a significant amount of money that could help you achieve profitability.

I think there is too much impact on gambling already, and there is a lot of negative stuff in this, and maybe a casino that could help support the problematic gamblers could make a difference.

Philippine's Plan: Putting the Entire National Budget on Blockchain
by
crwth
on 31/08/2025, 04:43:51 UTC
⭐ Merited by xLays (1) ,cryptoaddictchie (1)

  • Full Transparency and accountability sa government spending
  • Every peso will be viewable by the public

Re: Will You Make Yourself As An Example Or Ashame To Expose Yourself
by

on 31/08/2025, 04:30:47 UTC
I believe the best way to show that you know something is the willingness to open up to someone, and it shouldn't be a "shame" if you know it's part of the process. Admitting lapses should not be ashamed.

What's important is that you know you are doing it responsibly and are financially literate, so you can manage yourself and avoid making poor decisions when feeling emotional, as this could lead to further problems.

Your experience will definitely lead to education/awareness.

Re: Illusion of control

With all the things mentioned by the members here, even if with different perspectives, it's most likely that discipline and self-control are one of the key things that you need to have to have a good gambling experience. It's just that, that's not the only story.

There are elements, even in the design of the casino, such as the UI/UX, that make it feel like you're in control. The manipulation that visuals and sounds give is part of it. I think it plays a part as well.

We should always gamble responsibly.

Would it really be possible? I imagine it's still going to be far from over. A lot of things can be taken care of when it comes to quantum computing but it's in the progress still. What I'm concerned is how fast itr will be with the tools that we have now like AI.

Are there any technical details with how El Salvador is setting up their wallets? Maybe a lot of countries could follow suit.

Re: Do you flex on your pals when you are correct

Well, we can't really always be right, but we do have the opportunity to be patient and wait it out. You need to be ready whenever you are trying to bet, and bragging is unnecessary IMO. It just makes you look arrogant.

What I would flex about is the use of bankroll management in order to be more efficient in gambling.
