When you buy a Coin, it is in your interest that you check whats going on with this coin.

When you missed then a coin swap ... then is this your Problem.

Solaris ore the Community is not the backup from your Brain.

So it's every coin owner's responsibility to review the announcement page for every single coin they own every 29 days?

Be reasonable. It's not as if there's an effective notification mechanism for owners to be aware of every coin swap out there. Durability (store of wealth) is the most important feature of money. Short coin swaps undermine that.

Missed the coin swap. Am I s.o.l.? Imo coin swaps should be open for several months...people got lives and assume if they buy a coin it won't get burned if they don't check the announcement page every few weeks.

Thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed reply.

I'm glad that the big address isn't staking. I agree that development should be funded on projects. Your time is valuable and your behavior makes it clear you are interesting in long term benefits from a healthy project. Properly aligned developer and coin incentives are a win-win.
Airdrops are tricky. Small airdrop might give people some skin in the game and be a good way to onboard them onto the exchange to buy more.
Your coins so your call on a burn. Small burns are more about PR/price bump for coins which already have attention, not to grow a base.

I look forward to updated wallet and running a node. Risk/reward on this project seems good.

I like this project and have purchased some because there are few nodes, decent ROI and active dev work.

A few concerns of possible roadblocks to mainstream adoption:

* Windows defender flags wallet as having a trojan. I personally don't install any software flagged, so can't run my MN until this is fixed.
Virus scan false positive turns a lot of people away. It's not just about risk its about showing development excellence and attention to detail. Don't know how much effort this is to fix. Seems decent bounty candidate.

* Rich list shows 67% owned by 1 address. If that address wanted, they could flood nodes or dump market. Do you know who owns that address? Would they entertain the possibility of a small coin burn in the future? http://bitcurrencypro.ga/richlist

* High supply: enough for 2,000 MN. If the whale wanted to flood the market with MN, nothing to stop him.

Set aside a monthly budget to buy bitcoin. Buy a small amount every dip that month from your budget. Set sell orders for 25% of your portfoilio spread between local resistance and all time high. Use that 25% to buy the dip too.

Bitcoin is unfortunately not a good currency for small transactions. High fees, slow confirmations are a bad combo. Even lightning only mitigates this for recurring transactions.
