This project picked the right field to be in for crypto!  Shocked Cool

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-supercell-m-a-tencent-holdings-idUSKCN0Z716E
http://www.ibtimes.com/hey-gamers-meet-tencent-your-new-chinese-overlord-after-supercell-acquisition-2384922

If bitswift/swiftstream can get their reach as far as this kind of market (on top of what they already have planned) it could be massive....

Interesting project. Following closely.
Will research further over the weekend and revert.
All the best!

For the love of God please moneypot take over!!!  Cry

From what  I learned Moneypot taking over would be contingent on atleast 200 BTC still being with the founding team.
If not, an accounting sheet that explains where the funds went.
Additionally the others would have to agree to the deal and be willing to move on to other things.
As of now DM did mention he is assisting a few other projects so this does look like a fair exit to him.

Its funny to realize no official statement from the org in light of such a huge proposition.

Hello,

I had initially stated I will not be posting here any further to avoid drama but under the given circumstance I'd like to come through and express support.
While I hold nothing to profit from a deal of this nature going through it ensures the best interest of a few investors I highly respect
The proposed deal ensures the best interest of the share holders while ensuring the founders walk away with over 200 Btc in profit  - roughly 100k for 2 months of work.
Given the way the project was dealt with in the last few weeks I can't help but stress on how this is a very strategic approach that can leave everyone a winner.

I am willing to

1. Rally support from some of the early investors to say aye to this proposal. The nature of the deal gives them instant access to 2.5x the profit and an actual team with a proven record.
2. Volunteer from a secondary level IF - the new team takes over. I would want nothing to do with cryptodev or dailymodo professionally. I spoke a fair amount with the acquiree  and IOTUSA in the past and believe they are working in the best interest of the share holders. Jadesnail - another large scale investor quit yesterday and then there's Travelsasia who has also felt burnt. Together their investment is in the 60+ Bitcoin range and they deserve better.

I urge the founders to leave their ego aside and think realistically if saying nay to the deal makes any sense.
Given the fashion with which you've deal with the project and its community over the last few weeks this deal makes a lot of sense. Additionally, it goes on to the hands of those that are capable of actually taking care of it. They have an existing, actual user base of 20,000 Users and a pool of hundreds of Bitcoins. If you can't see the opportunity here, may God bless your souls.

I do not see this as a hostile take over seeing as to how all of this has been in the open.
The only reason I see this deal for not going through is if the Devs no longer have access to the 70 Btc, which in itself would spell another story naturally.

Disclosure : I do not profit from any of this and do not have any underlying agreement with any of the parties involved.  This statement is purely out of interest in the recent developments.

Hello.

Note : This post is being made roughly 2 hours before the team meeting hour to ensure a quick response from the team and keep panic minimal.

As of last week, I have quit the project on basis of personal differences with the founders of the project. This is not due to the project itself, but personal opinion on the management of the organization and my unwillingness to work in the environment any further. I had initially decided to stay mum about my resignation and wait until a proper transition to a new business exec occurs but in light of the fact that one of the founders have spoken ill about me to one of the longest standing  investors in the project I figure silence is no longer required from my side.

I'd like to state again, that me leaving is  not my reflection on the viability of gamebet, but my differences with its founders. Our approach to capitalism and understanding of how businesses should be run are distinctly different and there comes a point where you call it a day.  Over the last week, exactly that happened. I'd been displaying a decrease in interest over running most of the business functions and the best thing for the business at this point of time is for me to walk away. I leave with no equity dispute (roughly 22.5 percent) or IP rights (marketplace, usd pegging). All of it is left behind - with no claim whatsoever. Additionally, everything I worked on directly related to gaming (albeit abysmal) - will have no claim from me in the months to come. In other words - regardless of how successful the project (has the potential) to be -you will see no drama from me. I joined the organization with the intent of making a minor dent in gaming and crypto.  The team seemed apt as I won't possibly find a team that has more love and passion for gaming, but that alone doesn't build businesses.

I have had a payment of about 1600 dollars for 4 months of work. Apart from this, at no point of time have I had any access to the funds. The team is well beyond capable of handling the funds and Dailymodo has had nothing but good intent for the people backing the project. Even at the time of quitting there were a number of deals being worked out, some of which am sure will give the organization the spark it needs for growth and profitability.
I wish everyone on the team all the best with their endeavors. As hurt as I am with your behavior, I understand this is business and this is how it functions..

I leave with no set agenda, no team and no source of income for the coming month and a half. Repeatedly failing in start-ups some how make you appealing to corporates and being honest about my fuck ups have indeed landed me some gigs in the future. I might kick around seeking consultancy or side roles in existing businesses to sustain myself. Maybe spend time writing about the state of the industry and my experiences in it. I don't know. However, in my heart- I'll always be a kid scourging the forums for another opportunity to build something of value. Its painful to see a band of brothers / your team turn against you, but its part and parcel of the game and you learn to deal with it.

Its a cold, bloody, messy feeling when you log back to skype and there's no new messages. Co-founders don't reply no longer and you are like.. yea this is what a difference in opinion got me ?
It puts your mind in a state where you're numb and don't know what to do next. There are a few things am passionate about - developmental economics, finance and off late IoT. I intend to volunteer with companies working in the sector within the ecosystem - so drop me a message if I can be of any value to you.

To the community..
Guys, the FUD never helps build a business. I understand your frustration but holding a 2 way conversation is the best way to go about it. When we started work and we had a few investors (Travelsasia)- I used to sit down and have daily meetings with him on telegram. Those briefings and his response did help accelerate the building of the platform. If transparency is what you seek - inquire a form of communication that works and keep in touch.

To the team,
Don't fuck shit up. You have the opportunity of a lifetime here. Communities can turn around and kill a project and build it. When you are supposedly the manager of 40+ game communities you ought to know that. Please don't treat them like shit and use them for good.

Adios.

Edit : I won't be posting on the thread itself. I have linked any investor I bought on to the founders with all accounting. If you'd like to keep in touch, do drop me a PM. I'll be around a little longer.

Posting on behalf of DM. I usually, do not interact in the forum much, but since he's travelling am sharing updates from the discord group on request of the members there.

I'll paste interim updates (As promised)

-Our press releases are rolling out. We had our first coverage on cointelegraph this last week.
http://cointelegraph.com/news/e-sports-and-in-game-economies-come-together-in-gamebetgg

-Our marketplace is increasingly being more and more active. There were a number of items being bought out this week. We'll be working on increasing the inventory. Once the marketplace is launched, we expect this to increase.

-Our ARK servers are in the top 1 percent of ARK servers globally. That's right - gamebet.gg's servers  have been ranked as lwo as 107 in the last one week. All credits to cryptodev for this. We are looking to expand to other games (probably) - while growing the community.

-A very major team has approached us for sponsorship and the terms are being worked out right now. Am not authorized to share details yet - but you can expect to read about it this week in the forum.

-Work on the UI is going as expected.

-I've been experimenting with Twitter a bit. I won't say am  good at it - but our average daily impressions have gone from 4k to as high as 17k. I am looking to get this into a more streamlined process. We are rolling out other community related projects this week.

-We had launched an open form for teams to apply to. We had about ten applications so far. I'll be onboarding them and another member in this group into our referral program and get it going as we transition into the new UI.

-We are looking at other avenues to expand our business into while strengthening our position in the betting industry. So far things have been lackluster as we are waiting on the new UI, but expect major moves once the new UI kicks in.

I know the silence is eery and it might be concerning, but I have been here responding to most DM's - so feel free to message me. There were some inquiries abotu the SS and GG deposits (instead of cards for perks) - I'll be processing those emails too tonight and  having it authorised over time. Sorry about the delay.
Ark server rank tracking : https://arkservers.net/server/45.35.76.138:27025

=======

No one has quit. This is a billion dollar opportunity and to quit after having a MVP and a new product made is stupid.
Dailymodo will be back with the "daily" updates from tomorrow.

Hey guys, here with a small update about how things are going - this post will be fairly brief.

Development
We’ve been working on integrating the new UI and are in the process of tweaking it to work with live data, we’re hoping this week that we’ll have some screenshots to show you in regards to this. We are still running on our expected schedule and ideally everything will be ready for June the 1st which is when the first cycle will officially begin.

Marketing
Twitter has been going fairly steady with a growth rate of ~60 new followers every day. If you haven’t already, follow us on twitter as we’ll be doing a giveaway this week! We’re now beginning to work on the Twitch.tv side of things where we will be looking to campaign and increase our growth through popular streamers for CS:GO (as this program grows, so will the games we target on Twitch as well as the number of streamers we support).

Discord
Here is a chat log from last weeks Discord meeting in the future we will look to make this more available in a better format - http://pastebin.com/raw/wAue3iGF - we highly recommend rather than reading the chat log that you instead join our Discord and read it directly on there Wink

Thanks for the support as always, a reminder to those interested the ESL pro league will be ending soon on the 15th so we expect some exciting CS:GO matches as this event comes to a close.

Hi Dailymodo, sorry to bother you like this but I sent several emails to Business and support divisions of gamebet regarding my faulty steamcodes without response. Could you please advise?

Hello,

I have been assisting Daily with the perk give aways. Can you please PM me here - the code that's been sent to you ?
I have processed most requests and responded to all queries, so am not sure what am missing on.
Alternatively, you can e-mail me the string of emails.

Regards

Hey guys,

What would be a good way to communicate other than PM's ?
We'll need to coordinate PR and other resources for optimal integration of your coin into gamebet.gg.
I will be following this up with a PM. Looking forward to hearing back from you guys.

Also, congrats on the fund raise and Jon Fitch!
