Re: [WTS] 1 x BCU1525 FPGA with RAM, Midwest USA, $4000, brand new

I was curious about FPGA mining, so I did look into this card.  It's appealing to me because it takes up a single slot and uses less power than the equivalent 9-ish GTX1080s, but since I already have several rigs, I'm less inclined to buy it.  I'd be interested in trading a couple of rigs that I used for about 4 months until the electricity costs made mining pointless.  Smiley

No one finds it curious that the 3DES team fails to comment on my posts?  You're all blindly expecting success because this is for 3D printing, which is a "new" technology?

I'm missing something.  The whitepaper only talks about the protection of the MN investor's ROI, the structure, and algos involved.  But what is the coin used for?  If I am one of the exclusive 100 MN owners, but no one uses the coin, then I've just added another MN that is building up coins that aren't used for anything.  I already have a Prufus MN, don't need another one.

I typically hold and actually also buy more when the price drops.  Like with ULT right now, the price has dropped suddenly, but the team is still working hard and making progress, so I have been buying more and more ULT so I can get more masternodes.  Take advantage of the situation, don't dump your coins and then regret it later once it gains momentum.

I don't get it.  I watched the MVP video, and actually it's helpful to not understand Russian.  If you just watch the video and see the MVP in action, and you understand 3D printing, you will realize that this software is probably pre-2009 in terms of... anything.  No preview, no toolpaths, hardly any printer support.  Of course, that all can come over time.  The demo of the MVP is centralized, which in this case I suppose means that all of the slicing is done on the local computer.  And notice how quickly it was done.  So why in the world would anyone want to have a token for a decentralized slicer?  To this date, I do not believe anyone has given a reasonable answer to this question, if any at all.

You should join their discord -- maybe someone in #masternode-support will be able to help you out.

I'm in medicine for a long time already do not believe. Getting that kind of return with pharmaceuticals, and receiving money from the budget, the last time anything sensible was not. And if it was, who would agree to release the pill from diseases that would deprive the Empire of pills and doctors of income.

I'm not quite sure what you are saying here.  Are you saying that the financial projects outlined by this project are unrealistic, based on your previous experience in this sector?

Blockchain allows to build a decentralized task exchange to distribute the slicing orders. This way, the task exchange is secure and transparent.

Still no one from your team has explained WHY you need to have a secure task exchange for something that can be done by a single computer very easily.  The only thing I can think of is that you're trying to power some sort of cloud printing service.

I wanted to read your whitepaper, but it's not in english and changing the /ru to /en didn't work.

I trust cryptopia.  However, like any exchange, I would not leave my coins there long-term.  Pull your coins out into a wallet whenever possible.

Awesome news! We just partnered with the amazing people at Tokensuite. Therefore, our bounty campaign will be managed by legendary member needmoney.

What exactly does the bounty entail?  I don't normally participate in those and instead invest by buying tokens on the exchange.  Will you be providing more info?  Are there strict requirements around who qualifies for bounty?

I'll also keep watching here, as I assume this is the first place to look for more info about the Pre-ICO.

this does definately not seem like it needs to exist on the blockchain, just want to get some funding for nothing?  Undecided

Did you read the whitepaper or the previous posts?  Having clinical trial data on the blockchain is one of the most important features.  The fact that data and results cannot be tampered with (have you ever heard of Theranos?) is huge.

My only concern so far is that you are saying that the ICO revenue will go towards developing the blockchain/application and also continuing your research of SupT1 cell infusion.  You have not divulged information about how you plan to allocate the funds between all three projects.  I realize that the whitepaper assumes incoming ad revenue, but the number feels off by orders of magnitude.  I am surprised that you think 25k-50k visits per day equates to 50k-100k USD per month.

I still find this project very interesting, but I do not think I would participate in the ICO unless all funds go towards development of the blockchain and application, and a more convincing argument about the ad revenue is presented.  The ad revenue could be split between the projects and help to fund further research.

I'll read up on your project -- this sounds exactly like what I had in mind (not to do myself, but wondering if anyone else has done or will do it), so I'm very interested in it.

Sounds interesting, but I didn't quite get the idea of implementing blockchain in that. Can you explain?

It sounds like the blockchain is implemented as a way of distributing or running the slicing process in parallel.  So, make a process that already takes almost no time at all and try to make it faster, for a physical process that is measured in hours.

Many people now use printers at home, the demand for slicing must be rather high.

Not really.  You just download Cura or Repetier for free and load a profile for your printer, and it slices in a second or so.  So slicing is necessary, of course, but I don't think there's necessarily a demand for new slicers, unless they offer really special features.

Everything connected with 3D printing goes smooth, so I think that this project will succeed

Sorry I am so negative here guys, but I have lot thousands of dollars in the stock market investing in 3D printing companies, 3D print testing companies, etc etc.  Just because something is for 3D printing does NOT mean it is going to succeed.

Well, looks promissing. 3d industry is rapidly developing, so it's good to be a part of it.

The 3D industry needs someone to figure out how to make the printing process itself faster, not the slicing.  I don't care if someone can make slicing take less than 1 second if the print itself takes hours.
