Re: ★ BITSTARZ.COM - BTC & EUR Casino | Get 200 Free Spins + 5BTC Welcome Package ★
by

Wish I researched before hand and didn't start gambling on Bitstarz. Similar story to btcgmbling guy...

My initial deposit was 0.58 bitcoin (or over 300 euros). Received 100% bonus with 40x wagering requirement as promised. Got lucky, won a few bigger bets on slots. My balance grew up to 9 bitcoin at one point. I was so happy, wanted to cash out it as quickly as possible, therefore I raised my bets up to the max. All the time while betting I was monitoring my balance and wagering indicator in %. Everything went smooth, and within few hours I managed to reach 40x requirement with over 6 bitcoin in my balance. Decided to cash out and went to bed. Just to wake and read an email from Bitstarz that I breached their terms and conditions of betting more than 0.025 bitcoin per roll, therefore all my winnings has to be forfeited. There's so many ways they could make it right, but they simply refuse to do so. They could make their platform so that it wouldn't be possible to make incorrect bets. They could make so that bets over the limit wouldn't count towards wagering requirement. Even after the fact, they could discard just the offending bets, but leave the other. But instead what they do they just steal your rightfully earned money. I feel like someone had stolen money from me.

Im having issues with Electrum Sync'ing up, and when i click the network button the client freezes, i am restarting my pc now and will report back if anything changes / fixes its self.

*edit - No change, stuck in sync mode, it looks like it is connecting to a server, and i base that off the fact that ive seen a few different messages in the console tab.

ive also tried using the "wallet.synchronize()" option as well, and that did not fix it.

I'm having similar issue. Ubuntu 14.10 if it matters.

I just pulled the latest code on http://qcn.cryptity.com/
It finally has tcp/stratum protocol support! It should decrease the number of orphan blocks (more coins for miners).

Also pool mining fee reduced to 0.5%

Edit: to use stratum, you must update your cpuminer to the latest version!

Thanks for your support!

Is there something wrong with http://qcn.cryptity.com ?
Blocks are not confirmed any more (staying white).

Any news from this ??

I have 150 Intel I5 pinting on this....  What Happend?.

you are in a biiiig trouble... I just switched rigs but lost approx 3 4 hours.. for me thats a lot of hours..

Do you think we will ever see our coins?

Pool operator here. Someone managed to point a worker with invalid address hence payments got stuck.. spent 3 hours cleaning up the mess Sad Payments are catching up and soon will be back to normal. Sorry for inconvenience.

Culprit was the owner of the address 1SpWXh8...

Attention (Yellow Alert) Dear Pool Operator http://qcn.cryptity.com/

we might have the same problem again payments are stuck, please advise

at QCN (QCN) 3.16 USD Zulu time 11:37 PM EST you might have thousands of $ in your possession , you could take it shutdown the site and erase tracks behind. you wont do that , I am writing science fiction story

I like your operation because you command Hash Rate: 23.88 KH/sec   out of network Hash Rate: 908.17 KH/sec

that is pretty darn good and blocks were are being found

3.67 USD if you wait long enough you will command 10s of thousands of dollars from miners... what a trust.. has been bestowed

A! just saw message on the site: "Payments resumed!" very nice.. someone is trying to break your system with handicapped specially crafted workers ban the IP

hmmm. "Payments resumed" but "Total paid" still stuck ... please advice talk tomorrow, will leave the ops over night hopefully you see this message before then

Can you contact me in private if you have any problem? As I don't understand what you want to say in this message. Pm or email (you can find email in support section of the page)

well... it seems minutes after I complain here, things start to work :S, just received 0.14 coins :/, maybe more will come :/

Why there was 3-4 hours "hole" between payments is above me

It takes over 2 hours for the coins to mature.. I think you might be overemphasizing a bit

WHats wrong with http://qcn.cryptity.com/  ?
The pool has 10% of network share yet not a single block in 4 hours?!?!

Damn, the site just updated...LOts of blocks appeared from nowhere :/

Your browser probably had lost connection, try a full reload next time it gets suspicious.
I did...
Yet for last 3 hours I received 0 coins to 1LUoLtd3Cg1YRLr95FuLff9LYGp6mPwCJhv8X9BuZkAPe1zjoPb9xo21oBaLS2WiyRSgeQubm838FeY XDXzZWfXoTtZuASG
AMount of total paid stayd same for last 3 hours altho I had ~ 1KH hashrate Sad
This pool is stealing

I guess due to anonymous nature of the coin, I can't point you to the blockchain and prove that you've been paid. But if people trust the pool with that amount of hash, I guess they're getting paid.

which pool is the best to put more hash atm except http://minin.gs/quazarcoin and http://qcn.cryptity.com, seeing total network hashrate over 300kH but those pool is only few xx KH/s

There is also Minersgate from which I can't get my QCN out, so stopped mining there.

The rest is probably solo miners.

I've enabled long-polling and all my miners instantly went booo, couldn't submit not even a share Sad And then switched back off again.

But thanks for sharing the script, I'll see where I can fit it in.

This pool software is just not behaving very well under the load..

The script is for miners to use - its a workaround for the pool bug (the pool bug hits even if long-polling is turned off), which means you can just ignore minerd and leave it to do its thing without worrying that its going "booooo" all the time instead of "yay!!!"

Otherwise, the only stable mining is using the daemon, or simpleminer (from the MRO source), and the latest AES-NI optimised version of cpuminer-multi performs better than both of them on cpu's which support AES-NI.

Ha. Solved the boooo issue on the http://qcn.cryptity.com/ mining pool side, not a single one in a few hours on my miners:

Code:
2014-05-23 08:42:46] accepted: 1836/1836 (100.00%), 806.83 H/s at diff 1400 (yay!!!)
[2014-05-23 08:42:54] accepted: 1838/1838 (100.00%), 1002.18 H/s at diff 1400 (yay!!!)
[2014-05-23 08:42:55] accepted: 1839/1839 (100.00%), 996.44 H/s at diff 1400 (yay!!!)
[2014-05-23 08:42:57] accepted: 1840/1840 (100.00%), 960.05 H/s at diff 1400 (yay!!!)
[2014-05-23 08:42:58] accepted: 1841/1841 (100.00%), 920.97 H/s at diff 1400 (yay!!!)

Orphans should be better as well. Server is crying doing heavy lifting validating all the small shares Smiley But oh well, worth for quazarcoin.

By the way the creator of node-cryptonote-pool left a comment
Code:
/* Only works with the new simpleminer with longpolling enabled. */
So sorry, but no long-polling for the moment.

Somethings not right with your pool. When I type in my address to check i get
Code:
[object Object]/sec
. And the maturity in the block list is missing (old codebase?)

Yeah, I understand what's the script. However not sure how that bug works.

To what I experienced with my miners after enabling long-polling - I couldn't submit a single share, it went boooing straight from the start. Where as without long-polling the miner sometimes booos and then it's able to recover and carry on.

My next approach to the problem is to tune the share targeting time to as low as possible - 5-10s or even less. Shouldn't it decrease orphans as well?

I started a new mining pool: http://qcn.cryptity.com
Please give it a try.

You should enable long-polling, it will reduce the number of orphans a lot.

In your config.json, find this bit and change to true:

Code:
    "longPolling": {
        "enabled": false,
        "timeout": 8500
    },

I've heard from others that long-polling causes more trouble than benefit. But yeah, ridiculous number of orphans. I'll give it a go and watch.

Seems like the http://qcn.cryptity.com mining pool took the leading position. And handles the load pretty well.
