This is too funny and another reason to get a better forum.  I was thinking the same thing that it seemed fishy that Mr. Spread was banned for something so stupid yet every "report to moderator" link I pushed on these fudmuffins goes unanswered.  Oh well such is the way of corruption.

I have to disagree with you on this one. I have been reporting the FUDers consistently, and while they have not been banned, their spams are being removed from th thread. Check some pages back and you'll see that many of them only appear as quotes, the originals are missing. The problem is, while they do clean up what we report, they do it slowly, and thus we can't really get rid of the newer posts from the trolls. So, moderators are doing their job of cleaning up the mess, it's just not an efficient way to deal with it. Specially if people keep quoting them.

Please, just ignore all of them. Don't quote, don't answer! When the mods clean the posts, they will be gone!

So are you saying deleting my post instantly and banning Mr.spread on the same day is ok, But removing Trolls from SPR need to be waited(eventhough reported multiple times)??

Nope, i'm saying you are using double standards when dealing with moderators. They are doing their job according to the rules in the speed they can. Neither your post nor the thread by Mr. Spread were deleted/banned instantly, it took time. On average, the same time it takes them to delete the spam here. But you will only notice what you look for, so if you don't look for deleted spam, you wont notice it got deleted. There don't seem to have any prejudice from moderators here, just them doing their job as always.
I dont understand. What is the spam in this post

hey dear DRK fellows, SPR successfuly tested InstantX.

Bitcointalk and Dark Moderators

I have posted a single line message in dark thread in bitcointalk that we have successfully tested IX , and that post and post quoting that post[it was quoted by a DRK supporter] was removed, without any  reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. See how they allow all the Fud in SPR , while a single mention of SPR IX is instantly removed.

Also remember banning of Mr. Spread from bcttalk.

I strongly think that a group of/at least one of the moderator supporting DRK has done both things.

I also warn from those strong DRK supporters , who frequently post in SPR thread, their only intention is to damage SPR reputation, even if their posts look like be geniune.

Here is my deleted posts

Your point?

It was demonstrated by Evan long ago and had a run on public testnet months ago.  Plus the current implemention was said to be buggy.... good luck with that.

yes i know it. DRK is Always ahead to innovative things. why some guys showing hatred towards your first properly cloned coin. actually SPR makes DRK popular only, SpR use DRK code as base.

It seems pool operator's got irritated with spread concept. They fear more clones of spread will come and finish these pools job.

louiseth1 is associated with suchpool [ www.SuchPool.pw ]
some of the history how this pool deal with it's miners

in saturncoin
I'm talking on behalf of suchpool.pw. Please note that NO FUNDS have been stolen from ANY users. We are legit, and not scammers at all.

Our problem with payouts was caused by many cronlocks.

SADLY, absolutely NO user contacted us either by mail or our IRC channel to let us know about any issues. Please don't come cry in here before trying to get support from US. Afterall, if you mine with us, we are in the best place to help you.

No user payouts have been stole, nothing has changed, except we mined a lot of orphans. Please bear with us as this was NOT caused by suchpool in any way.

in darkcoin

Hi users,

For those wondering why Dark.SuchPool.pw has it's mining interrupted, here's why:

There has been a new stratum exploit found. We have been victim of that exploit, and are currently patching our multiple stratums servers to counter this attack

In Hirocoin
Quote
Basically, our HiroCoin pool has been hit by multiple types of attacks simultaneously. We have had some Stratum DoS that we managed to mitigate as best we could, but we received some attacks through cloudflare on hirocoin's front end that shook off the entire front end server.

We never scammed any user out of their coin.

from bittor. A user comments his experiance
Quote

THIS IS A SCAM COIN BY SUCHPOOL  DONT MINE IT LOOK AT THE BLOCKS AT LAUNCH

you can check more details at bittor and all other coin threads.

IF SPREAD COIN WINS there will no more cheating from those mamMooth pools

i think most of miner's have those horrible experience with those cheating pools.  And only those few geniune pools are exempted

testnet has already 180 MNs running, 160 of which are "elected". (which means they have passed the test of voting and will recieve payment soon)

Not bad for not even 24 hours of testing. Let's keep testing a few more days, and we will scratch the 1000 MN mark for sure.

Whoever wants to help us with testing, join us at:

Masternode payment starts only when 300 elected MNs

Quote from: Mr. Spread link= topic=938222.msg10280614#

Masternode payments will only start when there are 300 elected masternodes. We may need to lower this number for testnet because we may actually not reach that much.

Currently there are 3 groups trolling at this thread

         1. those who want to get spr cheap
         2. some Wackos like Hippie Tech
         3. Those who from Darkcoin- oblox , tungfa etc and many more with dummy accounts

What is the efficient way to deal with them?

1. use iron-fist to deal them
2. Ignore them
3. counter attack at darkcoin thread

What ever their intentions they are only making Spreadcoin popular. There may be people who sells huge volume purposefully , just to create panic in the market thinking people will scare away from spread ,but it is proven wrong. Price bounce back and this will increase the confidence of spread investors and to ignore those artificially crafted chaos.

If you genuinely believe that well respected members of the Darkcoin community and team are posting on here with dummy accounts then I suggest you just click ignore.  The individuals you mention are far too busy promoting Darkcoin to worry about possible competition in the future from our first proper forked coin.  From experience of the Darkcoin thread over the last year, the worst trolls almost always turn out to be supporters of your coin who want to buy cheap.

Any high profile Darkcoin supporters who are over here are interested in how you are developing the Darkcoin technology.  No more, no less.

I'd back up what stonehedge has said 100%. Honestly, we've experienced some of the worst trolling you can imagine in the DRK thread over the past year. Long term committed followers of DRK like myself and stonehedge, are just so over seeing the pithy, lame and childish manner in which these people operate. The DRK team is very serious and professional. While you may get the occasional flippant comment, on the whole DRK people feel pretty good that Mr Spread grabbed hold of this opportunity so quickly and so effectively (it indicates how substantial Darkcoin is and what a strong base to build on it's provided). It's just going to be so interesting to see how this all plays out and I can see long term synergistic relationship between DRK & SPR that will benefit everyone.

We don't need to have immature tribal rivalry and mindless spit-for-spat interactions with people who're from the DRK camp. Many of them are very keen to see SPR do well too (as are many SPR people keen to see DRK be successful as well). Lets just focus on getting the word about these amazing cryptocurrencies out to the broader community.

yes working together only strengthens both community . It seems Mr. Spread get Instantx idea from Evans whitepaper Also Darkcoin is benefiting from Spreadcoin's Decentralized MN selection

How masternodes are elected?
Each node monitor the network and assign scores to each masternode. This scores depend on how well masternodes provide their services, for instant transactions this will be time delay between transaction and its confimation by masternode. Since there may be no transactions and only elected masternodes will confirm transactions there is an empty service - each masternode will broadcast messages signining certain blocks to prove that it is running. Miners will include votes in their blocks. Votes can either be positive (elect not yet elected masternode) or negative (deelect already elected masternode). If masternode has more than 30 positive votes in the last 60 blocks then it is added to the list of elected masternodes. If masternode has more then 30 negative votes in the last 60 blocks then it is removed from the list of elected masternodes. Note that it is possible to determine which masternodes were elected at each particular block.

Quote
Wouldn't storing votes in blockchain make it too large?
No, there is a limit of 10 votes per block and most blocks will have less votes.

Quote from Evan @ https://darkcointalk.org/threads/v0-11-1-instantx-development-update.3769/

Decentralization of the masternode payment system

To decentralize this system, we propose a new system we’ll call “Masternode mining”. This simply means that when miners receive a new “masternode election entry” and solve a block, they will append the masternode to the block. Each block can contain up to 10 masternode list changes. So by following the normal progression of the blockchain, you will be able to compile a list of all known masternodes. This system is also highly resistant to attack and the same list can be compiled by any client on the network.

Some nice buy
s on Bittrex today. Time moves on and Spread Masternodes are getting closer.

linear interpolation between halving points is the most beautiful think i see at spr. once instant x is implemented  the block gen time can be increased to 5-10 min to cut the supply further.

i thingk a new change is made Mr.Spread in spreadcoin by correcting wrong  genesis hash value.
-uint256 hashGenesisBlock("0x00000ffd590b1485b3caadc19b22e6379c733355108f107a430458cdf3407ab6"); //mainnet
+uint256 hashGenesisBlock;

i think currently Merkle root and hash is different

https://github.com/spreadcoin-project/spreadcoin/commit/d396ee9ccfe118609da17b0d940c32f83e7dfa35

That's the Darkcoin genesis block hash, it didn't actually do much in there, was just left over from the original code.

even though that may not cause any trouble, its happy to see mr. spread is acting quickly to correct it.
