Been incrementally increasing every 12h or so by 25MHz, at 625 and completely stable. Temperatures holding steady in the high 70s, great work!

Hello, I tried to send you a message about purchase but it says you do not allow messages from newbies. Will you enable this please so I can send message please.

Same problem here. Interested in the firmware, could you PM me or enable that feature?

Just tested this, working perfectly. My compliments efudd, I was watching your posts closely on the other topic and want to thank you for the hard work and attention to detail you've put into making this a flashable firmware, along with the consistent progress updates you've been providing.

I have no issue with you charging 1% for it. Realistically, by "jail-breaking" my Z9 from 550 to 575 you've increased my efficiency by just over 4.5% alone! That being said, would love to see more/higher options

For those interested, I have everything set to auto and my stats are:

-Room ambient temperature 29 degrees Celsius.

If you can handle the sound, you might want to try fans to 100% (or maybe force 75 or something?) and just see how it impacts your temps. I try not to let my miners go over 75C, personally... but that's based on nothing other than a number I pulled out of my opinion hole.

Thanks for the suggestion. Set fans to 85% and that dropped the temps to 75-76 across the 3 chains.

DHL shipment: The import duty/tax due on your shipment is USD 36.67.

.... vs $950 /each on UPS.

Meh.

Whoa! That's a really awful tariff

Not sure what I'm going to be hit with here in Canada, on the 2 Innosilicon A9s I bought back in early July it was about CAD$700, hoping it's about the same with the Z9s

I think the z9's 1st batch will start shipping this weekend.  From what I gathered in the way they said delayed when I kept asking that's what I got out of it.  Either Saturday or Monday it will start shipping.  Just a heads up for everyone.  Pretty useless now anyways I almost could care less when it ships.  It's delayed, they failed, they fucked all of us.  Whatever we all lost money now. lol

Hope you're right regarding the ship time.

As for the profitability, I'm hoping that the reports of the batch 2/3 minis not overclocking well are due to binning of the chips that are going into the batch 1 biggies (sorry batch 2/3 mini buyers), allowing the biggie to be overclocked to 55-60 ksol/sec. If not, will be a long(er) road to ROI

I'm not one to immediately bash a company but in this case I'm frustrated by Bitmain's business practice and ethics. Batch 1 buyers paid $3319 for a 10 day competitive advantage in difficulty compared to the batch 2 buyers (who paid ~$3184 I believe) and are completely losing that. I think the ethical thing to do would be to refund the difference in cost between batch 1 and 2 and ship them all out at the same time. Always a gamble with new releases I suppose

12th now, still no update on shipments

Same boat here, I noticed in their "We're sorry" notice they wrote:

"We estimate that it will arrive a maximum of five to seven days later than planned. We extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause and are working behind the scenes to reduce this timescale."

I'm guessing they mean 5-7 business days, so I'm expecting to hear something regarding shipping early next week. All the while watching ZEC go down in price and up in difficulty  Cry

Still no one alerted of z9 full miner shipments??

Not yet,  waiting anxiously

Long time listener first time caller here (aka first post). In the same boat, order placed 07/27, still no word
