Re: Be careful with nostalgia
by

Sometimes an old athlete may want to come back for some special match. Some bettors might still bet on him despite of old age and lack of recent experiences in the sport. That is because of what we call nostalgia. They might recall the past memories or past performances of the athlete that may not necessarily reflect the recent performance of the athlete. So be careful when betting because you might just be nostalgic.
Is this about the recent fight of Manny and Barios? As Pacman there is the old athelete?

Some old athletes attempt comebacks for special matches like a championship matchup or title weight and bettors may still wager on them, not because of recent performance, but as a supporter. They remember the athlete's past glory, which can cloud judgment. But a Philippine boxing fan is a true fan, regardless of the reason they will still support and even bet on him even the outcome might not be favourable.

Good at mayroon naginitiative Ive been following him, and katulad niya ang alam ang kalakaran sa crypto space.

Re: Is it still gambling if you're sure you're going to win?
by

on 25/07/2025, 10:36:35 UTC
Can we still say we are gambling if the event is something we are at least 90% sure that we are going to win?
Yeah even at 0.1% or 99% wining or not you are still gambling. Though even at 90% chance you can still lose.

Gambling isn't just about the chances of winning, it's about risking something of value on an uncertain outcome. That 10% chance of losing still means you're taking a risk. And the danger is, as you said, overconfidence can make you risk more than you should, thinking you're in control. Even the bestlooking bets can go sideways. That's why true professionals always manage risk no matter how "certain" something feels. Cause that chance can flop too anytime.

You raise some very valid points!  At Manny’s age, recovery takes longer and ring rust is real after years out. While he still looks sharp, timing and reflexes naturally declining. The reason so many fighters want to fight him now is quite simple since his a renowned 8th time champion and that good for any opponents on their resume. A rematch with Floyd would be huge, not just for boxing, but for global sports history. Their first fight left questions especially with Manny’s shoulder issue and fans would love a definitive ending. If it happens, it’ll be more about legacy than peak performance. I really wanna see a lose on Floyd proud record. Damn! Haha

Re: What is been professional like to you?
by

on 25/07/2025, 02:27:33 UTC
On my end, a professional gambler indeed knows how to manage himself in front of his games. He knows when to pause or stop his games as he's considering his resources before plunging himself to trouble. It doesn't mean that he's always winning in my opinion, as long as he can manage his losses. It means, he makes sure he doesn't get broke due to gambling. Most of these professional gamblers can be seen in poker players as well as sportsbettors. In the long run, they can use their skills to gain regular income from these games.
Absolutely! that’s a well grounded perspective. Being a professional gambler isn’t just about winning big but it’s about sustainability and control. Managing emotions, understanding risk, and knowing when to walk away are just as crucial as strategy or odds calculation. You nailed it with the point that many pros especially in poker and sports betting treat it like a discipline, not a thrill ride. They don’t chase losses recklessly and instead they play the long game. I wonder if some forum users here realizes thats its not about the winning but also the losses we incurred and how to limit that is important.

What is a been qualified as a professional gambler in your own world? The winning part or the responsible part of trying to avoid addiction is all.
A professional gambler is someone who consistently earns profits through skill-based strategy, manages their bankroll with utmost discipline, avoids emotional decisions and dont rash things, and practices responsible gambling to prevent addiction which means only play with the funds that you are ready to loss and accepts it. In other words limitations.

These are some of those that makes someone a professional gambler. Ofcourse kinds included if his always winning.

Re: No Amount is Affordable in Gambling
by

We are used to say that a gambler should gamble with an amount he can afford to lose but in the actual sense do we think there is any amount a gambler can afford to lose? When a gambler places a stake what he sees is not the stake but the potential win.
Well you got a point, but every gambler is distinct. Like me, Im make sure that my funds used in gambling stays on the line no matter what. If Id lose on the day with my plan money on spending then theres no need to get more and break it. Gambling is also discipline but there are times we tempted to shell out more cause of intensity.

Arthur Hayes is a famous KOL so probably may basis yung comment niya. If thats the case then sobrang laki ng need na funds to inject for that to happened.

Ive beem following Hayes since Im also a fan ng mga tokens affiliated ng VC group niya na Maelstrom. Been following projects under the umbrella, and almost all good moving like the ethena project. So in terms of prediction credible siya to speak his thought for potential market outcome. If that happens daming sasaya na pinoy niyan.

Maybe after 5-6 months, he can box again after preparing for this potential fight or how long it should take for him to prepare and get on the fight again?
Yeah likely Pacman, will get another chance if not a rematch with Barios will definitely tie up to different boxer with more interesting. But for me, I think a rematch is good to see the chance of both. I feel that Barios hold back due to his respect to Manny. But whats interesting rematch is Pacman and Mayweather. Probably that one will be the most good match up.

Re: Crypto Betting vs FIAT Betting
by
cryptoaddictchie
on 24/07/2025, 09:14:29 UTC
FIAT Betting platforms have long struggled with large dependency on payment solutions, trading solutions etc - which just makes the business expensive to expand - destroying the market for multiple sports betting tech organizations who have monopolized the industry.

What do you prefer in 2025?
I am using both, I am using crypto for dencetralized gambling or those common gambling site but needed KYC if you are gonna withdraw huge funds, while I use fiat betting on local sites or apps in our country to bet. In terms of convenience, I like the fiat since I can easily loaded with funds, while crypto I needed to deposit via cex or from wallet.

Re: Why some countries gamble more than the others?
by
cryptoaddictchie
on 24/07/2025, 06:35:05 UTC
People in some countries gamble more because of cultural acceptance, easier access to casinos or betting apps and fewer legal restrictions.

In places where gambling is seen as normal fun or a way to get rich, more people try it. Economic stress can also push people to take risks, hoping for quick money. Also if gambling ads are everywhere it makes it seem more OK to do.
In our country gambling is totally common from a provincial style gambling down to legit casinos and betting sites. Its because more users are into gambling amd Government get a lot of taxes on this even though its not good they are so light on them. We all know that gambling is dangerous and addictive many users loss their mind and keep gambling. I guess thats not a healthy approach towards gambling in a country. There should be limits and some restrictions to address addiction.

Re: The "Lottery Ticket" Mentality
by
cryptoaddictchie
on 24/07/2025, 05:30:17 UTC
As a gambler, have you ever felt this kind of mentality? That is, let's say in sports betting, wherein you bet on the long shot or a huge underdog but at the back of your mind, you thought that you will not win, but there is still small hope inside of you that this could be a life changing and so you go and bet with your close eyes.
Yeah I always experience this sensation during a bet. I always try to contradict the general odds for the game. Usually I like betting on least bettor choose even the team I betted for is an underdog. At the back og my mind, odds arent accurate and its depend on the team playing, theres always have a chance to win as those odds are just predictable made to have a factor or implication on betting.

Re: Are Launchpools the BEST Way to Earn Free Crypto?
by
cryptoaddictchie
on 23/07/2025, 14:06:37 UTC
My experience with launchpool is bad.

I staked $5,000 for 5 days, I only get $10 worth of other coins.
Then the second time, I staked $5,000 for 4 days, I only get $0.5 worth of other coins. Cheesy
Woah the return isnt really good. Can I ask which launchpool it is? Is it Binance Launchpool? Cause the platform gave tokens to stakers but you really need to have a good amount of bnb, to feel the rewards, cause if staking only few bnb that would not give any life changing rewards.

Im also a launchpool staker before but I withdraw cause I feel I can maximize that on a larger stuff and retro fits testnet for me.

⭐ Merited by memehunter (1)
especially when you are spending so much (190k as per OP) on monthly contests.
Thats what I first noticed. 190k is a huge money, and can be expandable on some good campaign for a very long time here in forum. Id hope OP heed our advises amd go for it. Nevertheless, a signature campaign will boost trust on their platform and eventually will get more traffics from potential customer or client in their platform. Many users check legality of a project here, seeimg theres a campaign in here might be a good boost for that.

Instead of this tone you used in this post, you can simply encourage those who missed the opportunity to buy bitcoin to do so now as there is still opportunity for them to do that.
Yeah quite right, its basically a good thing to do that right? Instead of having condensed tone about being too late. No one can be so early and predicted that bitcoin could turn into massive forture just like this. But theres definitely a chance for that when the market retrace, but not in the last few decades price of course.

Re: Biggest bitcoin giveaways in history ?

The biggest giveaway was during 2009 when you could mine bitcoin blocks using only your CPU and get the 50 bitcoin reward for each block you'd have found, that reward is currently worth $5 mil Cool
Thats so incredible well at that time they are mining it without even realizing its worth and value as bitcoin spikes a lot few years after. But thumbs up to those who did this and even holding at this time of period. This is their biggest win not in just crypto but in life indeed.

Meron ba sa inyo nakapanood ng isa sa mga episode ng KMJS kahapon kung saan nagaya ng isang vendor at mang iihaw ang mukha nila Marian Rivera at Robin Padilla.
Thanks for this, will watch later. Actually nakita ko na yun video Robin na nagiihaw ng isda sa Visayas or Mindanao area ata kasi bisaya ang salita eh, pero di ko alam if fake or totoo kasi based sa video kamukha talaga niya si Robin and hindi mapapansi yung pagkafake so baka nga may kamukha siya pero nung nakita ko tong post mo about Deep fake, so fake yun? Haha. I dunni will watch muna sa kmjs.

Honestly this may sounds like a shilling in a subtle manner. Of all the cex you mentioned are all famous and popular in the web3 except for one. Its like you wanna make us think so curious on the outlier you mentioned. The last one sounds like an unknown platform without much tractions on the market. Are you part of the marketing team or just want to shill this badly with the community?
